I would not recommend the Clasen Inn in OKC. The room was dirty, with visible dust and stains that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was no real service — no one at the front desk when I needed assistance, and no housekeeping during my stay. On top of that, parking was extremely limited and inconvenient. Overall, it felt neglected and poorly managed. I expected much better for the price.

It was such a cute little retro hotel! Check in and out was super easy and the location was perfect for what we were in town for. The bed was comfortable and even with the retro feel, the TV was up to date, microwave and fridge were included and matched the theme. There was a cute little front sitting area and a small lounge area in check in. I have only two complaints. The lobby does close early, which with the offerings in the mini bar doesn't make a huge difference... Except there isn't any alcohol in the mini bar. I was hoping for a beer after getting back and did have to order it from a delivery service. Not a super inconvenience, just would have rather given the money to the hotel. Also. The water pressure wasn't great. I am sure that is partly due to age, but, really, it was a small thing in an overall wonderful experience.

Loved our stay! It’s an older property that has been renovated to a cool, funky place! Loved the decor! Attention to detail was great (purple grout in the showers!) Our room had a mini fridge stocked with drinks and there were snacks in the room and the prices were great! Coffee & tea for free in the rooms and was a cute set up. Would absolutely stay here again but would request a top floor room because we could hear the people above us, although I think they were just rude & abnormally loud for it being midnight. Fun stay in a great location for activities around downtown & midtown okc!

Cute place on Route 66. Decor fun retro vibes. Strange that the office is only open from 11-6 on most days. We did get a call earlier in the day and instructions were really good. Outside seating area is really cute but could stand to be swept and cleaned up a little bit. Over all a nice place to stay!!

Really cool, mid-mod repro Motel. Pros: Super easy to get to and to park at, retro design, staff support. Cons: Really loud AC that doesn't really cool, squeaky bathroom door, only one mug, loud fridge and not very quiet - all the rooms face a main road. Staff is only onsite during business hours - by the team you figure everything out, if you check in later in the day, there's no one around to fix anything. Grateful I brought ear plugs.

A friend and I went for the Oklahoma Memorial Marathon and this was a perfect location. I absolutely loved the digital check-in. I got an email with all the information and room code. Since we ran the half marathon, we asked forna late check-out and got it no problem. We spent both nights on the patio and appreciate the proximity the main roads. It set a bar for our road trip races. We haven't stopped talking for the uniqueness of the Classen.

The motel is 15 minutes from the Memorial and a 25-minute walk from Bricktown. For the price, it could certainly be a good deal. However, the smell of pet urine or mold in the room is unacceptable! The carpet has several stains, so the owner is well aware of the problem and is doing nothing. For this reason, I recommend renting elsewhere. It's a shame because the rest of the room was clean, but the carpet urgently needs replacing!

The room was clean but had a super strong mold smell. We tracked it to the bathroom and kept the door closed. There was left over food from a previous traveler in our fridge. The AC also didn’t work correctly - it would click (enough to disturb sleep) multiple times. We tried to turn the fan on low, medium, high but it didn’t matter. The room never really cooled down either. It was inconvenient and there’s nobody on the property throughout the evening so we didn’t report it. Felt it was probably a waste of time as we were gone during the day and didn’t want anybody coming in while we weren’t there.

The look of the motel was gorgeous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Felt very safe in the area. I would 100% recommend to try this place. Room had snacks and drinks for a really rentable price.

Pros: Unique decor Tall showers Cons: Poor cleaning habits, no liners in the trash bins, severely stained sheets (appeared to be dried blood and other mystery stains). Essentially a ghost operation, there is nobody on site after 6pm and nobody was in the office when we checked out at 10:20am the next day. I left a message regarding the room at 10:30am after check out and nobody called me back.

I booked Classen Inn last minute. It was convenient. I loved the funky design and reuse of an old space. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room (#17). The bathroom had crumbs and a the shower was a little dingy. I could live with that. What was unacceptable was the broken AC/heater unit. It made a loud noise and blew a nauseating mold aroma that made it smell like the room was filled with cat turds. I hope they fix it before another unsuspecting patron sleeps there. I reached out to management - but didn't receive a response.

This motel is super cute and conveniently located. The rooms are basic, but clean and nicely decorated. There are a few cosmetic signs of age, but nothing that had me worried! It’s a little noisy since it’s on a semi-busy street, but the soundproofing is pretty good. And Sunnyside Diner about a block down is AMAZING.

A nice and hip no-frills place to stay. Super cool mid-century vibe. They allowed us to check in early which was helpful as we were in town for an art show. Affordable and clean. The wifi for the tv was a little spotty but we don’t watch a lot of tv.

I had several problems with this room. The room is very small. There's no staff; you just get a code to get into your room. There is neither a table nor a chair in the room so the only place to sit is on the bed. Lighting either too bright or too dark. The motel is very small and all the rooms face the road. Noise was so so. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I liked the shower. I like staying in remodeled motels but this one was very disappointing

This hotel was darling. Front desk staff was very kind. But they are not available at all hours though. I do believe there is a phone number to call. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the necessary amenities. I believe the window s were original to the building so it wasn't the quietest room. You could hear other guests. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

This hotel is very cute and bed comfortable. However, I would not stay here again on a cold night . We could not get warm . Lows in 20’s when we stayed . We cranked the heater unit up to 80 and it blew out warm air, but not enough to heat the room. There were no extra blankets . Nobody in office late night . I slept in my robe and with socks . Shower had warm water but not full enclosed door , so shower was drafty. Cold air you could feel coming in at bottom of room door. Convenient to downtown…… will try again when weather warms up perhaps.

This place was super cute. I had an issue with the carpet unfortunately, the mini fridge had been left ajar or something and the condensation leaked all over the surrounding carpet - wasn't aware until after I took my shoes off and felt it on my feet. The manager *immediately* responded to my email with details to switch rooms. No issue in the other one though. Again, very cute.

There was no real service — no one at the front desk when I needed assistance, and no housekeeping during my stay. On top of that, parking was extremely limited and inconvenient. Overall, it felt neglected and poorly managed. I expected much better for the price.
I would not recommend the Clasen Inn in OKC. The room was dirty, with visible dust and stains that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Oklahoma City. Not far from where Route 66 used to go through. They did a great job of keeping it funky and cool!!! Each room is unique and kitschy, lobby, and Mikeyla in the office is awesome- very patient, positive, and gives great advice. :). Stay here

This hotel was darling. Front desk staff was very kind. But they are not available at all hours though. I do believe there is a phone number to call. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the necessary amenities. I believe the window s were original to the building so it wasn't the quietest room. You could hear other guests. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

The place is adorable! Check in was a breeze and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. It was very cold that night and we couldn’t get the heater going. I went to the front desk and she said this was the first time this season it was turned on it might take 30 minutes to start. We went to eat and came back an hour later and it still wasn’t working. I went back to the front desk and they were closed! I had to laugh about it and we made it through the night! This motel is right in a busy road and you will hear the traffic all night long. Otherwise a nice stay!

Pros: Unique decor Tall showers Cons: Poor cleaning habits, no liners in the trash bins, severely stained sheets (appeared to be dried blood and other mystery stains). Essentially a ghost operation, there is nobody on site after 6pm and nobody was in the office when we checked out at 10:20am the next day. I left a message regarding the room at 10:30am after check out and nobody called me back.

Really cool, mid-mod repro Motel. Pros: Super easy to get to and to park at, retro design, staff support. Cons: Really loud AC that doesn't really cool, squeaky bathroom door, only one mug, loud fridge and not very quiet - all the rooms face a main road. Staff is only onsite during business hours - by the team you figure everything out, if you check in later in the day, there's no one around to fix anything. Grateful I brought ear plugs.

A friend and I went for the Oklahoma Memorial Marathon and this was a perfect location. I absolutely loved the digital check-in. I got an email with all the information and room code. Since we ran the half marathon, we asked forna late check-out and got it no problem. We spent both nights on the patio and appreciate the proximity the main roads. It set a bar for our road trip races. We haven't stopped talking for the uniqueness of the Classen.

Nice, cute and quaint. The property itself had me a bit concerned due to its location. It is in a gentrified area, renovated property and the room is really, really cute. In a few years that area is going to be phenomenal. There is a nice area with restaurants, bars, shops just down the street.

Location was good to access mid town are in Oklahoma city. Clean , felt safe. Door faces road but no heavy traffic or noise at night. My wife and I liked the kitschy 50s vibe. Bed was comfy. Would not mind staying in again.

The motel is 15 minutes from the Memorial and a 25-minute walk from Bricktown. For the price, it could certainly be a good deal. However, the smell of pet urine or mold in the room is unacceptable! The carpet has several stains, so the owner is well aware of the problem and is doing nothing. For this reason, I recommend renting elsewhere. It's a shame because the rest of the room was clean, but the carpet urgently needs replacing!

Old time no tell motel; redone with a quasi hipster vibe. We were in town one night for a concert; and this was closest to the venue. Easy check in and out; front desk staff super friendly. Keep in mind this is an old property; redone very nice but small rooms and nothing in walking distance. And Classen av. is very busy in the morning; so you might need earplugs to sleep late.

We stayed here because of the proximity to Paycom Center and couldn’t be more pleased. The rooms are super cute! The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Would stay again.

This motel is super cute and conveniently located. The rooms are basic, but clean and nicely decorated. There are a few cosmetic signs of age, but nothing that had me worried! It’s a little noisy since it’s on a semi-busy street, but the soundproofing is pretty good. And Sunnyside Diner about a block down is AMAZING.

It was such a cute little retro hotel! Check in and out was super easy and the location was perfect for what we were in town for. The bed was comfortable and even with the retro feel, the TV was up to date, microwave and fridge were included and matched the theme. There was a cute little front sitting area and a small lounge area in check in. I have only two complaints. The lobby does close early, which with the offerings in the mini bar doesn't make a huge difference... Except there isn't any alcohol in the mini bar. I was hoping for a beer after getting back and did have to order it from a delivery service. Not a super inconvenience, just would have rather given the money to the hotel. Also. The water pressure wasn't great. I am sure that is partly due to age, but, really, it was a small thing in an overall wonderful experience.

Loved our stay! It’s an older property that has been renovated to a cool, funky place! Loved the decor! Attention to detail was great (purple grout in the showers!) Our room had a mini fridge stocked with drinks and there were snacks in the room and the prices were great! Coffee & tea for free in the rooms and was a cute set up. Would absolutely stay here again but would request a top floor room because we could hear the people above us, although I think they were just rude & abnormally loud for it being midnight. Fun stay in a great location for activities around downtown & midtown okc!

The look of the motel was gorgeous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Felt very safe in the area. I would 100% recommend to try this place. Room had snacks and drinks for a really rentable price.

First of all, we had difficulty getting the code to work to get in the door. Once we got into our room, the AC was making a horrible sound. We had to leave for the evening, came back to the same horrible sound. No one in the office since it was late (the office was closed). Had a horrible night trying to sleep with all the noise ( AC and street noise). The next morning- the shower had very low water pressure and the temperature kept fluctuating. Went to talk to someone about changing rooms- the only way to contact anyone was through email. I sent an email asking for a room change. Several hours passed before I received a response. By then, we had already made the decision to check out early. Won't stay here again, and definitely do not recommend this place either!

My son and I stayed one night due to him having a medical appointment in the city! Although he’s only one I was afraid that I didn’t book the right room however it was perfect for exactly what we needed. I like the fact that I can walk straight out to my car in an emergency. I only wish there was an extra set of betting due to having a baby that decided to projectile vomit at 10 o’clock at night lol. However, I emailed staff and they were quick to respond to alleviate my situation. Front desk staff was sweet and the room was clean. Located in a safe part of Northwest Oklahoma City. Simple check-in and check out process couldn’t have asked for more.

The motel is super cute, and the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The bed was also comfortable and it was very clean. My only issue was that the water pressure in the sink was low. And the shower was low also, but not as much as the sink. Just fyi, we stayed in #6. In addition, we traveled with another couple who also stayed there. Since the rooms are a little small, we asked the manager if we could take some chairs and a small table from the lobby/patio area, and she was more than happy for us to do that. Again, the staff were very accommodating, just the water pressure was a little off for me.
