Quality Inn & Suites Morgantown - University Area

There was a used washcloth in our shower and I don’t think the rug had been vacuumed. The carpet going from first to second floor was soaking wet the entire time. The tile floor in the lobby and first floor tile leading to second floor steps was wet. I had fallen a few weeks ago so I was very hesitant to walk there. On the positive side the entire staff was helpful and courteous.

The bathroom was very dirty. The water wouldn’t turn on until I pulled it with my foot on the wall. There was black stuff in the corners of the bathroom when you walked into the room it smelled like urine, strong urine smell. My daughter was looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool and after we checked in, we learned that it was broken. They were waiting for the parts to fix it so we did not have a good experience at all.

I would suggest, the term quality is misleading. This is a budget hotel that was very dated – and probably overpriced. Although the staff were pleasant – the hotel is certainly not high-quality - so, depending on your expectations – you might be disappointed. The bathroom in our room was small, outdated, and in need of maintenance. The breakfast was good, but not great – and the omelettes were processed. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Room was clean only seen one staff maybe to check in he was very friendly breakfast was good pool was not open due to heater not working we were there for a kids hockey tournament for the weekend was not happy about that it wasn’t even on there website so the kids we’re disappointed as well
