The room and overall property is clean and close to the airport. Called as instructed when we were walking to loading zone 1 to catach the shuttle. I was placed on hold and the was told they ledt without us but not to worry another shuttle would be there in 12/15 minutes. After 30 minutes and 2 more phone calls we were picked up. After checking in, we were informed there was only 1 shuttle for 3 hotels and we could either picked up at 7:00 or 8:30. All other times were full. We had to pay for an uber back to the airport.

We were told 4 times that the airport shuttle was on it's way.....a total lie 4 times. Multiple other hotel shuttles were making numerous trips. Finally after 45 minutes we got a cab and paid over $20 for transport. Very disappointing. I know which shuttles were making frequent trips and will be selecting one of those for my next stay. We also had to Uber to the airport in the morning because we were told the shuttle was full-only it wasn't because people just failed to show up. More of our money wasted.

What a very nice hotel experience! Family friendly, nice breakfast buffets, although a small selection for cooked foods, everything we had was excellent! The beds were comfortable and the a/c unit worked perfectly for this menopausal grandma. Friendly staff, nice gym and the bathroom lemony products were wonderful! Having a nice shuttle to/from the Charlotte airport was perfect. Saved to my favorites in Hotels.com. i will be back again!

Well we were looking forward to the bar being there and it’s closed on weekends so that was disappointing. The room was great and clean. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was pretty clean but we constantly saw spelt Fri is on the floor and food. They had a group of kid sports there and because of that it was louder. You could hear your neighbors pit their toilet seats down and doors opening and closing so not very sound proof but overall we had a great stay.

The property is like any Hilton Tru property. Was very clean, modern, and has a breakfast option. What I didn't like was the parking. They use a 3rd party vendor which requires an online payment which charges $10 per day, plus a $2 service charge. Considering you can't pay with cash at the front desk; the service charge is insult onto injury. I don't understand why Hilton would agree to this set up as it puts their customer into a forced service and the related fees situation. Feels super abusive. So much so, that I won't ever stay in another Tru that doesn't provide free parking. Second, issue is the lack of EV charging. So, I get to park for a fee, in front of sign that states parking at my own risk, and there are no EV charging options. In other Tru locations there are EV charging options (need more non NACS options BTW). Seems Hilton, while monetizing the parking would at least require the vendor to add value to the parking experience. It's so tiring to be nickeled and dimed to death by corporate giants. And this particular experience got my goat.

My stay at this hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby had a pool table. They had plenty of space to enjoy in the lobby. They had complimentary coffee tea and water. The room was so clean and inviting. The bathroom was so clean and nice. Everything was new also. I had plenty of towels provided so we really didn’t need anything. They also provided a complimentary hot breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.

Everything was really nice and clean. Only negative was finding a box of condoms on the floor by the bed my 10 year old was sleeping in. Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety. Beds were as comfortable as can be expected.

$10 per night for parking $1.99 processing fee. So figure that into the rate when booking. The room was so small you can barely walk around the bed and the furniture. The front desk staff were rude. There was a big funky spot that could’ve been wiped clean on the bench as soon as we walked in the room. I’m not gonna say what it looked like. We stay at Hilton every where we go and this was our first Tru. And will be our last. Breakfast isn’t until 7. If you have a 9 am flight you don’t have time to eat.

I enjoyed staying here. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although your car was safe in the parking lot you still had to pay to park which I really don’t agree with that. The breakfast was good and all of the employees that I came across were very helpful.

The property was nice for our stay. I had a 2 queen bed and it was very limited in space and amenities. No microwave. The shower only option was very nice!!! There are no food places local, off in secluded area but quiet. And parking is $10 a day per vehicle.

First, I’ve never stayed in a hotel that you had to pay for parking so that was a little disappointing. That should be something that I get when I stay with the hotel. I was also disappointed that there is no coffee maker in the room and that a mattress topper Was my blanket.

The hotel is beautiful, but the beds were not thought through very well. The mattress is quite comfortable, but they sit on a platform that’s larger than the mattress; so, we all banged our knees on them. Also, it’s uncomfortable sitting at the edge with your legs hanging over the platform edge. Finally, the bedding was uncomfortable; the duvet kept coming out of the cover. Really disappointing for such a beautiful facility.

The property was new and clean The noise level was terrible throughout the night. Every time someone opened or closed their door it was very loud and woke us up Although I love that their are no carpets in the room you can hear other people walking about in their room Ealls seemed thin as you could hear people talking or watching television. Parking fee was a surprise but it is possible that I missed mention of it on the website while booking. We either had the noisiest guests in the world above and to the side of us or the walls and ceilings were paper thin. It was a truly awful nights sleep. We won't be staying here again

I happened to be 90 minutes early for check in, and there was no one attending the front desk. After standing there for about 15 minutes I had to call the number in order for someone to come out to the desk. Upon informing her that I would like to check in she said I couldn’t be checked in until 3pm. She didn’t even look to see if they might have had a room available, it was just a flat out no. I’ve never experienced that at any hotel before.

During our stay, we had an item that was placed on the room desk go missing after housekeeping cleaned the room. We spoke with management about this, most likely the item was trashed by mistake. However, on our last day, we had a second item go missing which we did not realize until we checked out, we called the hotel spoke to front desk made the report. They stated that they would follow up with housekeeping and give us a call back or email us with an update, it’s been 2 weeks and we have not heard back from them. We had 2 items go missing during our stay!! We are very disappointed with the property. Management needs to look into this and check on their employees, there is a lack of protocol here. Would not recommend this hotel

What I like is the cleanliness off the hotel and the breakfast. What I had challenges with was when asking the staff a question some of them would say google it. Some of the staff on the side of TRU hotel where not helpful nor accommodating.

Brittney was amazing and had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. Although people were not being as pleasant she still showed poise and kindness and respect. She needs her flowers and great service. The lady that took my key at 12:00pm during check out was also amazing . It’s nothing like walking out and receiving great customer service with a smile 😃 awesome team overall💕

I was greeted by an amazing front desk person who was kind, funny, and very welcoming and helpful! The entire building was very clean, the room was very cozy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! I will be staying here again anytime I fly out of Charlotte.

Hostel older front desk lady. Not sure why she was so short with the man next to us and to my daughter and I when checking in. She snapped my ID out of my hand and was rolling her eyes . She did not have a name tag. Also the shuttle bus driver was texting and driving crazy.

We came the night before a flight. Leaving the car there was easy and the shuttle ran frequently, so getting to the aeroport was no problem. Be sure to book the shuttle asap, however, because it books up quickly enough. On the return, we called from CLT and they came right out...very little wait for the shuttle. The rooms were lovely and the pool table was complementary, which was nice too. We found restaurants fairly nearby. Except for a restaurant in an adjacent hotel, however, you'd need a car.

Very nice stay. Thank you! Pleasant staff and clean rooms. I am taken by surprise by the requirement to pay for parking that should be noted when booking the hotel. Also, we came to eat breakfast at 8:45am and it was already closed.

Updated and modern, wooden floors are nice si that there’s not that typical carpet small that most hotels have. Clean and bright. Unsustainable using all plastic and throwaway. Breakfast was fine, coffee subpar

I really enjoyed our one night stay at the Tru. Would definitely come back. However the breakfast, even though it was tasty, used a lot of plastic. Since there was a rating for eco friendly, they could find a way to use less plastic. Thank you. Otherwise, the room was clean, beds very comfortable, sheets were nice and the service was very good.

I parked my truck on the property as I traveled to CT, and they had security riding around and security cameras. Upon return, my truck was vandalized, the rear driver-side window was broken. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not aware. I requested a report be prepared and it was denied by the general manager drew dunston. Also, my wife requested a refund of the one night stay and he denied it. I approached him to express my dissatisfaction and felt that was the least he could do. He surprisingly snapped back saying, “I didn’t break into your truck”! How sad!! He subsequently refunded my stay. There was cards from the Charlotte PD left in the truck, yet they were not aware of it. I requested an officer to respond anyway and was advised break-in are common as perpetrators look for guns and drugs, especially in trucks, and at one point there were several in one day. The gm had someone put plastic over the window and it was obvious he had experience doing so. I had a 2hr ride home at night and the wind noise was horrible, it was like driving with the windows down. I found out later from a family member familiar with the area that it’sa rough part of town. Should I leave out of the Charlotte airport, I will definitely park at the airport! Park at your own risk!!

Clean rooms and nice looking hotel. Had to wait over 45min and call multiple times for the airport shuttle. The shuttle is shared with other hotels so we’re all full returning to the airport and we ended up having to get a Lyft. Staff were fine but not super friendly or that helpful.
