Close to the airport and convenient parking and shuttle.

Great staff with clean rooms and facility. Nice to have the airport shuttle as well.

Courteous and assistive staff. Great hot breakfast options. Very clean and fresh smelling lobby, dining area, room and bathroom. Nice gym with lots of exercise options, with drinking fountain and weighing scale present.

Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Facility in excellent condition. Airport Shuttle was on time and easy short trip.

There is no outdoor pool. There was no daily housekeeping. Girl was in the pool fully clothed. The room needed to be vacuumed better. The recycling went into the trash. There was a family reunion the first night (Friday) and the next morning there was glass all over the parking lot. It was still there on Sunday. People were on the patio yelling until about 2 on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Elevator did not work on last day and I’m sure it was the kids that broke it! But besides that it was a great place to stay the gym was clean and amazing and pool was fun!

Room was a bit dirty (stains on the chair, cobwebs in the corners), and a lamp was missing on the desk. Hotel lobby was kinda dirty and looked like no one had cleaned up in a while.

Not clean in the sofa bed and under couch. Not enough staff at front desk. Not enough towels in room and no sheets for the bed. Everything requires a trip downstairs.

There was a lot of bugs inside my window and the bathroom smelled like sewage. I switched rooms and found the floor was dirty and the doors needed to wiped down. I Cleaned the doors and floors myself with my own disinfectant.

Room not cleaned no coffee brought in ......said they'd give a wake up call... Did not... Empty soap container in shower...not refilled when asked... Used lotion in bathroom

Newer hotel, near the airport. Nice breakfast and airport shuttle option. Room was nice and well appointed - bathroom was rather dirty. Shower curtain stained. Overall good value - low price.

There was no shower curtain for the shower and the bathroom was dirty. No cups to make coffee with and some of the outlets didn’t work. Won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is what you would expect: modern, clean, convenient. However, the sound traveling between walls/floors made sleeping difficult. There was noise from people partying/banging on the walls all night.

THE OUTSIDE LIGHT WAS VERY BRIGHT THROUGH WINDOW

We were on the second floor and. Kept awake by noises above us all night.

This Holiday Inn Express seems new so it was clean and seemed new. No wear and tear like a lot of hotels now. The nicest thing about this hotel was that it was quiet. It is built better than most hotels so it was noticeably quieter in walking in the hallways and in the rooms.

The room was clean and roomy but, the windows did not have a window-blind that shields from lights or sun from outside, so at night the room was completely lit-up making it difficult to go to sleep!

Staff was friendly, breakfast options had some variety to them. Place seemed fairly new. Location is about 3-4 miles from 28 th. st. where the nearest shopping and dining is located. The room itself was spacious and clean. The water was hot but could use more pressure. The tub wasn’t set properly and produced creaking sounds every time you moved. TV was kind of erratic turning on or finding stations. Wi Fi was good.

Had to make an early flight, asked for a wake up call, never happened.

We booked here because of the free airport shuttle, and while arriving late (11:45) we were still in the pick up zone but were not picked up. The front desk guy said ‘it went straight to voicemail, you should probably just get an Uber’ This cost us an additional $25 which was even more frustrating because as we were waiting for the Uber we saw the holiday in shuttle cruise right past us.

The front desk called at midnite to say there was a problem with rooms then proceeded to come by the room at 1250 to check ID then called again because they could not remember my name. They aanted me downstairs to redo my cc and issue new keys. I said I would take care of that in the morning. 845am they just knocked on the door.

The two front desk staff were entertaining young men when I checked in. One of the men was sitting on the front desk and another was feeding snacks to a front desk clerk. It was inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable. Close to the airport. Probably would not stay there again.

Extremely friendly staff new and clean facility!

My flight was cancelled and I was stuck in Grand Rapids overnight, so I booked here last minute. The property is well-maintained and has a decent breakfast in the morning. It is very close to the airport, which is convenient. I appreciated having access to the small gym facility. However, I was on the second floor and my room did not have blackout curtains (they were a sheer, white curtain). It meant I could see out and others could see in. I also was next to the parking lot which had bright light shining into my room all night due to the translucent curtains. I also requested a shuttle when checking out and had to wait about 25 minutes without it showing up. They said it might show up another 10 minutes later after that waiting. The airport is a 7-minute drive away. I ended up calling an Uber so that I didn't miss my flight.

We had a miserable experience. Check in and our stay was fine, but we were using park and ride—and that is where things went off the rails. The hotel advertises that the shuttle runs until midnight—which, given an 11:30pm flight return was why we chose this hotel. But they actually only run until 11:45pm and, in the end, left us stranded at the airport. Here is the whole story (counting the things they did wrong): In addition to wrong info on their website (1), the person who checked us in did not log our return flight (2). So, when we arrived at GRR at 11:35pm and called the hotel, they did not have us down for an airport shuttle. The front desk clerk said he would call the shuttle. He called back at 11:40pm and told me the shuttle was on the way. I said we were just going to get our luggage from baggage claim and then would be out. At 11:49pm—according to the timestamp on my cell phone—I called because when we got outside the shuttle was nowhere to be found (3). The front desk called the driver and then called me to say the driver waited a few minutes and then left because he "had all his people" (4). Confused since he had been told we were coming, I asked if he could come back and the driver refused (5). The clerk offered no advice and said it wasn't his fault (6). Later, the GM that he had to go to another hotel by midnight. The GM refunded me $25 for our cab ride, but not the $10 tip... what a bizarre quibble when so much had gone wrong (6 things!). Will not return.

Very convenient when flying GRR. Shuttle personnel were delightful! But when I called to reserve a shuttle, I wish I had been informed of detour and road construction around hotel. Arrived I. The evening and bit was pretty confusing for a first time guest.

Liked location near airport & early shuttle service

I stayed for the shuttle service for an early morning flight. The ladies at the customer service desk were great. No restaurants or bars in walking distance so if you come without a car be prepared for that. However, I would stay again.

Nothing is near it

Stayed for two days. Breakfast was good and hot! Beds were comfortable. Just wish they had more handicap rooms. I think they only have 3.

Nice place to stay when seeing off family for an early flight. Family liked the sausage gravy and biscuits. Other guest liked the pancake machine.

Water pressure in shower and any tap was very low. This is the second time we have stayed here, the pancake machine was out of services and was wondering if it ever worked.

The motel didn't live up to the Holiday inn Express brand....poor breakfast....rooms did not have adequate amenities and price was extremely high for the quality. Further Expedia failed to provide an adequate discount as your charges were $100 above what the final receipt revealed from motel.

Breakfast advertised to start at 5 am. It wasn't available until 6:30 am and we had an early flight. That is why we chose your hotel. No discount offered due to the false advertising

Convenient location to get to GRR Airport. I was disappointed that there was no to-go breakfast option for folks like us who had an early morning flight.
