The Beach House Loch Lomond

Room 203. Some issues arose. The shower temperature was scaldingly hot no matter what setting was used at evening time. While there was a warning at the sink about hot temperatures, the shower was dangerous. I resorted to Steptoe & Son mode and washed the essentials in the sink. The pod/coffee maker was left with water in it which creates a doubt about cleanliness. The cups provided would not for under the coffee maker. There was a sliding door to the outside. One of the steps have a paving slab where the plaster/mortar had failed (trip hazard). The setting is beautiful.

Lovely room to finish our trip to NW Scotland. Handy for Inn at Loch Lomond too. Great views, comfortable bed and decent shower. 40 minutes from Glasgow Airport.

The room and stay was good

The room was very clean and offered lovely views overlooking the lake, which made the stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience was affected by noise from other residents during sleeping hours. We could hear early morning activity, including doors banging and heavy footsteps, which made it difficult to rest properly.

Honestly, this listing is incredibly misleading. There is no spa on site. Listed as an hotel is its own right, I knew check in was elsewhere but it shows pictures of a spa. In reality, the main hotel is a 5 mins drive away. This an annexed building with some rooms. There's no staff, the spa is in the main hotel where recption is. The rooms are tired, walls scuffed, floor creaky. Bed was really comfy and the views were spectacular but not what I'd signed up for. Our shower didn't drain to the point of thinking I was going to flood the rooms below. Not quite the romantic get away I'd planned. Be wary if booking the beach house.
