It appears that they are trying to update the facility but yet, it’s still pretty bad. Also, the parking lot is terrible. Barely enough parking spots and no where to turn around.

They are very friendly. The place is decent. Not great but not terrible either. The hot tub has never been hot. The pool was dirty. All in all, not too bad though.

We stayed one night to be ready for an early gymnastics meet. The motel is simple and small, but quite adequate for a one or two night stay. The manager was prompt in meeting our needs which were to stop the phone from flashing, to get the cable working on the TV, and provide bedding for the hide-a-bed We slept restlessly in the beds and there is only one elevator. But with a small hotel, it was not too much of a problem. Breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, donuts, oatmeal, and waffle irons. Coffee, juice, milk, tea. A little hard to find as the sign says Country Suites instead of Comfort Suites. New signs are going to be installed. This hotel is in a area that has a large selection of restaurants nearby and is just off the freeway.

Having just left a Comfort Inn, Memphis, we rebooked CI for our Houston stay. Check in staff (evening 09/08) helpful. This hotel does not meet the same standards as other CI. Basic breakfast, breads, waffle, cereal, eggs (not as pictured on Expedia). Pool only has 3 sun beds, hot tub didn’t work, pool is smaller than pictured, floating cigarettes in it. Bedroom is modern, clean but filthy microwave and bathroom lights didn’t work. Hotel located next to noisy highway, better hotels in area for similar price.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you wish to be woken by fire alarms at 3am!!!! This is an ongoing problem according to the fire department that responded to the alarm. The fireman told us that upper management refuses to fix the problem. No compensation was given to anyone after being woken two nights in a row at 3am.

It was very nice stay. You could tell it was well used, but definitely could use a refresh of certain things like the elevator. There was no denying the room was clean, because I was almost knocked over with the smell of bleach when we entered the room. Not upset by it…I want a clean room, but wow it was strong. Other than that, comfortable room, no wash cloths in the bathroom, super tiny shampoo and conditioner…so bring your own, and the doors are paper thin. I got off the elevator at one point and heard my spouse sneeze in the room. He was at the other end of the building with the door closed, and didn’t sneeze very loud either.

I arrived at 9pm and I was exhausted and I just wanted to go to my room. As soon as I walked in the whole place smelled awful. So bad I immediately wanted to just turn around and leave, the carpet was stained the sheets were stained. It did not resemble the pictures online. I was super disappointed. This is the second bad experience I've had with Comfort suites, and I won't be staying there again.

In all honesty I don't really know how to rate this. Room was in ok condition. Floors were warped and had weird bumps. Staff was very friendly and nice. Big problem is that there was a single roach that we had during our stay. I killed it and brought it to the staffs attention. They moved us into another room and we didn't have any additional incidents.

I got checked in early, which was fantastic. The fire alarm went off at 6:00am. Got out of bed to see if there was actual danger. Turns out, someone burnt toast in the lobby. Not sure why that would make my room alarm go off. The TV had a hard time connecting and would often freeze mid show, and the tv guide didn't display what was on. So I had to flip through channels until I found something I liked. Shower and bathtub had some prior stains in it and the toilet was not good for my back the way the lid was propped up. Regardless, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and I'm not the kind of person to complain during my stay unless it was absolutely necessary.

This is a nice quiet hotel with great staff. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included and great options. The only issue I had was the actual floor on the third floor. In the room and in the hall, was really bad. It was concerning how hilly the floor is. I would stay here every trip to Houston except for the floor.

Had to sleep without blankets cause the air conditioning didn’t work that good. Bed was not that comfortable. Made a reservation and when I got there was told they didn’t have my room available. Then told me he would give me two room which would have split me n kids up. I asked him what the point of a reservation was if they didn’t have my room readily available. He then said “let me see what I can do” and he had a room for us.

I have stayed at this property > 5 times. Just consistent. Staff on top of the details (...and it's the details that can make or break a property!). Family friendly. Guests are respectful. Even though it is close ti interstate, it is set back enough that I have never been bothered with highway noise. I will continue to make it my goto stay in The Woodlands.

The toilet in my room was messed up from the time I got there and when I told the front desk they offered me only a plunger to use for myself ans it kept messing up. The room was average and bathroom door was messed up. The phones in the room didn’t work and when I called front desk on my cell they hardly answered and when asking for extra towels I was asked why and how many people were in my rooms because they don’t have enough towels. The breakfast was horrible and juice didn’t taste right.

Very accommodating. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice and understanding. Helped us tremendously. Can’t remember his name but he did a great job. He was working the night shift.

The hotel itself is very nice. Since we arrived late evening after dark and the hotel is set back from the service road, it was very difficult to find the right entrance. The businesses around the hotel have separate parking lots without any way to access each other, so we had to make several detours before we found the only one that allowed access to the hotel.

It is a quiet location, but it is located behind a restaurant, and that was a little confusing when trying to find the hotel. Since it is on a frontage road if you miss the entrance because of the confusion you have to go all the way around. Other than that it was good over all.

Ok experience but VERY disappointed that i was not informed of the major refurbishment happening and it meant me and my family were not able to have breakfast for neither of the mornings we stayed. There must be a better communication between the hotel and Expedia and a discount rate offered upon the option to still select the accommodation.

Having just left a Comfort Inn, Memphis, we rebooked CI for our Houston stay. Check in staff (evening 09/08) helpful. This hotel does not meet the same standards as other CI. Basic breakfast, breads, waffle, cereal, eggs (not as pictured on Expedia). Pool only has 3 sun beds, hot tub didn’t work, pool is smaller than pictured, floating cigarettes in it. Bedroom is modern, clean but filthy microwave and bathroom lights didn’t work. Hotel located next to noisy highway, better hotels in area for similar price.

Terrible TV--hard to operate! Breakfast is so-so, continental only. The most awesome bed and pillows! The only place where I slept well through the night! Great location! Multiple restaurants within walking distance, right by the freeway, not far from the mall and Walmart.

Ive been to several hotels and lost faith in hotels in general. This one was different. Every staff member, from check in, to cleaning staff, to check out, was amazingly kind. The breakfast was absolutely delicious: fluffy eggs, that were not rubbery, had flavor. One day was sausage, the other was bacon. Clean, fresh, hot waffle iron with red velvet and regular flavor. Plenty of butter and syrup. Yogurt, boiled eggs, cerral. All kinds of options for a hungry traveler. The coffee was always available and hot. The entry smelled, and looked, clean and amazing. Our room was gorgeous, even if a bit aged. We loved our stay and look forward to staying again.
