Tru by Hilton Fort Mill

Staff were nice & friendly. Property was very clean. Free break and 24hr coffee was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Very invited and even got us in our room early. We had to stay over night because of a procedure and they had everything we needed. Very clean and late check out was very helpful. A small store for things u may need. Ice bucket for as much ice u need and water bottle station. There was more but we only stayed one night. Would highly recommend.

The charming and helpful staff can’t make up for poor housekeeping and maintenance. I was in an ‘accessible’ room where there are pegs instead of closet and drawers. One of the pegs was hanging loose. No one checked the body wash dispenser in the shower which was completely empty. I was there for two nights and reported these two issues which were definitely noted by the front desk but nothing was done about it when I out for the day. Upon return surprised the bed linens were not even straightened by housekeeping. I refused to use shampoo for soap for the second night of my stay. Called the desk and a very nice staffer brought the body wash cylinder but neither of us could install it. If you have a neglectful housekeeping staff you really need a training video for front desk staff and or guests. Also there was no list of my included television options so I was compelled to use the live TV option. Not everyone has a Hulu or Netflix subscription on their mobile device but every other hotel I’ve used, has free options for movie channels. These choices should be made clear to guests. Finally, I could not get the inner shade closed so street lighting disturbed my sleep. The breakfast was inadequate because the pancake making equipment looks advanced but is hopelessly slow, I couldn’t even have toast because it could not be extricated. Coffee delicious but no one checked if urn was empty. The hotel is a sad place for staff and guests.

Breakfast could be better

Convenient location and friendly staff. Easy parking and breakfast came w stay. However, the bed (queen) was extremely uncomfortable so I was very disappointed. I regularly stay at Tru while traveling and was surprised by the lack of quality in the bed.
