OYO Hotel Mona Lake Muskegon

Ver clean renovated room. Not so nice area neighborhood though. Very noisy people in the hallway and next to our room.

Okay first we get up to our room and the smell could knock you out floors were sticky window was cracked garbage can was full of old moldy coffee grounds the stairs going up B to our room the hand rail was duct taped when I took my dog out they bitched because I didn’t take her across the street all she did was peed on weeds and dirt so do not stay at this place it is a true dirt hole you just don’t feel safe

I had to clean the room when we got here. The sheets had stains. I wouldn’t wash my dog with the towels. I don’t think the reins have been cleaned good in a long time

No key had to have maintenance let me I to my room

DO NOT STAY HERE! I needed a place to stay for my small business trip and I understand that you get what you pay for. First gentleman was nice but the tall man of Indian descent was rude at checkout when I asked for a receipt of my deposit going back on my card. I couldn’t understand his accent so he started yelling at me saying they don’t give receipts. My room was okay but there was hair in the shower and on the day of checkout there was a roach in the bathroom. They have two buildings which one is a long term stay that is very dirty and the outside of both buildings are in horrible condition. It wasn’t until I entered the second building that the hallway looked decent. The road that the motel is on looks like it’s on a closed street with many potholes that I passed it up on my first attempt. I should’ve listened to my gut and gone elsewhere but I was exhausted from a three hour drive plus an eight hour workday. Stay at your own risk.
