Wingate by Wyndham Christiansburg

Hotel was very clean and inviting, great value for price. The bed and room were very good. The bath was large and clean. My only issue was the water pressure/shower head were not strong. The water did not even make it to the middle of the shower, so you have to stand close and the water was warm not hot. The hotel was not full so it shouldn't have been a problem. I didn't call the staff so i only checked in with them. So I put average because there was no n/a.

The room was "okay". It was probably better suited for a single male on business versus a couple or family. The cleanliness was decent. There were no vending or ice machines available. The air conditioning wasn't powerful enough to reach the bathroom (which did not have a fan). The towels were horrible (like small strips of sand paper). The noise from the highway was loud and constant. I called ahead to make arrangements for my dog that we were bringing along. However, I was accused by the front desk personnel of not informing them and was told I would have to pay extra for him (which I had already agreed to when I called). Finally, check in was at 3pm but our room was not ready until 6:20 pm. Over 3 hours late is not exactly what you want when you've already been in the car for over 5 hours :(

Was happy to be able to find a property that didn't jack up the price for the graduation. Building needs some upkeep and renovations but friendly staff and clean room.

Location was clean and friendly. Everything was top notch. We didnt use any amenities or check out the breakfast. Just stayed the night to attend a celebration of life event and head back home the next day. If we ever return to the area, we are definitely staying here again

The hotel itself is fine. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. I would probably not return because the road noise from 81 was awful. We actually checked out a day early because we didn't get any sleep. If you can sleep through noise, the hotel is fine.
