Lovely Riad! Very luxurious, staff very attentive, and just gorgeously decorated. Some very thoughtful touches, and very helpful in organizing things around the city. Breakfast on the roof was lovely, which you can do before the day gets too hot. Some nights had a live musician in the courtyard which was cool. Only thing to be wary of is a few charges adding up - there are no irons or steamers in the building so only option is to pay to send things out for ironing, and they have a sauna but it's US$17 to turn on.

The Riad was amazing and beautiful. Free wifi and a lounge. It didn’t have coffee making facilities, fridge or desk. Centrally located in the Medina. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was well worth a visit.

This was a serendipitous find! Such a lovely Riad and excellent on all fronts. Every single member of the staff was absolutely delightful and could not have been more welcoming or helpful. There's a real family feel to this lovely place and the rooms, food, spa and other facilities are 5 star. Would definitely return.

Fantástico Riad! Lo recomiendo ampliamente, es bellísimo, lleno de obras de arte, muy buena pinacoteca, una biblioteca muy amplia sobre Marruecos y el Islam. Los propietarios son unos artistas! El personal amabilísimo! Las habitaciones preciosas, todo muy cuidado y de calidad premium! El desayuno delicioso y lo sirven en la terraza, en la habitación o en uno de sus hermosos salones. El hamann increíble! Gran Riad!

Beautiful, well run, and well situated riad within easy walking distance to major attractions. Attached to a wonderful small museum of Morrocan art. The owner, a former art dealer who rebuilt the place, generously showed us around.

Fantastiskt hotell. Bra läge mitt i medinan men lugnt och rofyllt. Superbra service. Hjälpte till med restaurangbokningar, strykning och fixade frukostpåse till supertidig hemresa. Bra wifi i rummet (men ej uppe på takterrassen). Rummet fixades flera gånger om dagen. Kan inte klaga på något!

Riad Kniza is absolutely stunning. Located in the Medina and walking distance from all the major sites and souks. When we arrived we were blown away but how amazing the property is. It offers various different relaxing areas, lounges, a roof terrace, a pool etc. The staff were really attentive. The manager gave us a tour on arrival and then we settled in on the huge roof terrace which has shaded areas, loungers and toilets. There was a phone on the roof to call for tea, wine and snacks. Whatever you wanted. The hotel accommodated everything. You can also order your breakfast to any part of the Riad. We had it in our room, by the pool and on the roof terrace. Different locations each day. The room we stayed in was lovely. The size and decor was perfect. We arrived to rose petal displays and fresh fruit each day. Everything was perfect. We’ve stayed in amazing luxury hotels all over the world and have to say Riad Kniza is right up there with some of the best. Such an amazing place!

The hotel is very nice and clean. It's in a great location within walking distance of many attractions. The staff is very friendly l, pleasant and interactive with hotel guests. The breakfast is unbelievably good. Room service is twice daily.

Un riad en perfecto estado que cuida todos los detalles. Silencioso, bien ubicado, limpio, magnífico desayuno, camas de gran calidad, toallas y sábanas mejores que en mi casa y empleados tremendamente amables. No se me ocurre un sitio mejor para visitar Marrakech.

Absolutely amazing stay at Riad Kniza. A stunning place to stay with very attentive staff. The hotel was beyond gorgeous and very clean. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff were so warm wand welcoming. Very lovely aesthetic to the vibe of Riad and great location too

Beautiful property with fantastic and very friendly staff. Everyone was helpful, really friendly and happy to help. The property is a piece of art, very clean, spacious rooms and a rooftop that is an oasis of tranquility. We would return any time. We also felt safe walking from and to the property at night. However, the alley is highly frequented by mopeds and has a lot of places that barbecue on charcoal, particularly at night which leads to smoke and smells. That part of the Medina is still fairly authentic, so prepare yourself for some frenzy. Just a minor side note: If you like to sleep in, you might want to consider earplugs because the sound travels through some sections of the property and the early morning cleaning could wake you up.

das Riad ist extrem sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. allerdings ist es auch extrem hellhörig und wir hatten das Zimmer neben dem Speisenaufzug. Um 7:00 war kein Schlafen mehr möglich und im Nachbarzimmer hörte man die Betätigung des Lichtschalters. 😬

Our experience at Riad Kniza was fabulous. The service we received was outstanding in every way as were the accommodations. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. We were very impressed by how beautiful the Riad was - VERY luxury and comfortable. The included breakfasts (which we enjoyed on the rooftop) were first class. So much food with fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious coffee and tea. Our room was spacious and very comfortable as well. I think this was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. We observed staff cleaning floors, walls, etc. daily. It was immaculate! Would highly, highly recommend to any traveler. When we come back to Marrakech, this is where we would stay again.

The service was truly outstanding. The concierge was incredible; they arranged our pickup and drop-off with no hesitation, and even contacted us the day before our departure to ensure we had a taxi! The riad itself was beautiful, every piece is well curated and beautifully crafted. For being near the market, there was virtually no noise and the rooms were peacefully quiet.

The riad was wonderful. If you are traveling with a friend or want separate beds make sure you clarify with the riad first. Our room had one double bed. They separated them but they were essentially one bed. They kindly made up one of the couches downstairs in the room so it worked out ok.

This was, without a doubt, one of the most exceptional hotel/Riad experiences we've ever had. The customer service was impeccable, standing out even more when compared to other Moroccan riads. The accommodations were truly fit for royalty—spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with air conditioning in every room. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious. The location is ideal, situated just inside the Medina and close to the gate. The front desk staff were exceptionally attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. When I needed a dress pressed, it was returned in under 20 minutes. Cold beers were delivered to our room within 10 minutes of our return—a welcome refreshment in the August heat—and fresh fruit awaited us in our room. I could go on, but simply put, you won’t find a better place to stay. Bonus: The owner has his own art gallery just across from the Riad. He graciously opened it for us and gave us a private tour. It was, without exaggeration, the finest collection of Moroccan cultural art we encountered during our entire trip, including our visits to Casablanca, Fez, and Marrakech. Stop searching—you’ve found the place to stay.

It was, without exaggeration, the finest collection of Moroccan cultural art we encountered during our entire trip, including our visits to Casablanca, Fez, and Marrakech. This riad is a little perfect gem, an oasis of peace amidst the mad hustle and bustle of the medina. Stunning interiors, attentive and friendly service, gorgeous, oversized room and bathroom, with the most comfortable bed and pillows! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with mint tea and the best cookies we’ve ever had! A fruit platter was waiting for us in the room. A very nice breakfast was included in the price, served on the beautiful rooftop. The location was superb - with the main sites all within a 20 minute or less walk of the riad. I can’t recommend this place enough!!! It gets two thumbs up from me!

My wife had to point it out, but the idea of the Riad is to enjoy life the way that the owners had in the past. Its remarkable to go from the crazy business of the medina to the oasis of the Riad. The rooms were luxurious and the entire Riad was so calm and quiet. The breakfasts were incredible. Really enjoyed my stay

das Riad ist extrem sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. allerdings ist es auch extrem hellhörig und wir hatten das Zimmer neben dem Speisenaufzug. Um 7:00 war kein Schlafen mehr möglich und im Nachbarzimmer hörte man die Betätigung des Lichtschalters. 😬

Riad Kniza is absolutely stunning. Located in the Medina and walking distance from all the major sites and souks. When we arrived we were blown away but how amazing the property is. It offers various different relaxing areas, lounges, a roof terrace, a pool etc. The staff were really attentive. The manager gave us a tour on arrival and then we settled in on the huge roof terrace which has shaded areas, loungers and toilets. There was a phone on the roof to call for tea, wine and snacks. Whatever you wanted. The hotel accommodated everything. You can also order your breakfast to any part of the Riad. We had it in our room, by the pool and on the roof terrace. Different locations each day. The room we stayed in was lovely. The size and decor was perfect. We arrived to rose petal displays and fresh fruit each day. Everything was perfect. We’ve stayed in amazing luxury hotels all over the world and have to say Riad Kniza is right up there with some of the best. Such an amazing place!

We were welcomed by Fatina who was so friendly and helpful, our room was huge, spotlessly clean and a little bit of heaven. We had breakfast on the roof terrace every morning and all of the staff were so helpful and friendly. Cant recommend this Riad enough, i just wish we had time to stay longer.

The service was truly outstanding. The concierge was incredible; they arranged our pickup and drop-off with no hesitation, and even contacted us the day before our departure to ensure we had a taxi! The riad itself was beautiful, every piece is well curated and beautifully crafted. For being near the market, there was virtually no noise and the rooms were peacefully quiet.

My second time back at Riad Kniza, and it was absolutely incredible. This hotel has the highest quality of service and they really do take such good care of their guests. I love how small it is and how much attention we received in terms of timely answers for our requests, room service twice a day, and beautiful breakfast every morning. It’s such a treat and will have us coming back to Marrakech to visit this riad for years to come. I’ll be dreaming of Riad Kniza!

An outstanding Riad in the heart of the Medina. It was an oasis of calm amongst the chaos of Marrakech. From the staff to the beautiful grounds, everything was luxurious and spectacular. My wife & I stayed in a beautiful Riad in the Medina called Riad Kniza. The rooms were ornate & spacious. It was close to all sites & amenities. The staff were accommodating & pleasant until the end. The Riad had a lovely courtyard full of green plants & trees and charming common areas with tables, chairs and sofas where you could relax or read a book. They even had a magnificent roof terrace furnished with plants and cozy cabanas. On our final morning we arranged a taxi to the Airport (RAK) as we had a 7am flight to Paris. Shortly before we left, a man (who I believed was either hotel staff or a taxi driver in contract with the hotel) brought us cappuccinos & Moroccan pastries. We believed it was so thoughtful. He took our room key & grabbed our suitcases. Once we were finished he returned to escort us out. As he was walking in front of us pulling our bags towards the awaiting taxi, that’s when my wife & I noticed the back of his graphic T-Shirt. It had big bold colorful letters in English that read “F*** You All”. My wife & I looked at each other shocked & puzzled. Was this intended as a deliberately offensive message towards tourists from the U.S., UK or Canada? Because it wasn’t in French or Arabic & it definitely wasn’t subtle. Sadly, it left a sour taste in our wonderful memory as we interpreted its meaning & implication as: we may need or want your money, but don’t come back again. I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences at this Riad or others?

We had a lovely weekend at the Riad Kniza. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady that was there on our arrival. She helped us with some suggestions for restaurants for the evening and how we could organise our days to see everything we wanted to. The Riad was very clean with staff frequently seen keeping it so. There are lots of different places to relax inside or out with our favourite being the roof terrace where we also had a fabulous breakfast in the morning just after the sunrise. Location was perfect. Within the Medina but towards the edge so not as noisy. Easy walking distance to all the sites and the staff arranged a taxi for us to and from the hotel to make things easier. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful property with fantastic and very friendly staff. Everyone was helpful, really friendly and happy to help. The property is a piece of art, very clean, spacious rooms and a rooftop that is an oasis of tranquility. We would return any time. We also felt safe walking from and to the property at night. However, the alley is highly frequented by mopeds and has a lot of places that barbecue on charcoal, particularly at night which leads to smoke and smells. That part of the Medina is still fairly authentic, so prepare yourself for some frenzy. Just a minor side note: If you like to sleep in, you might want to consider earplugs because the sound travels through some sections of the property and the early morning cleaning could wake you up.

Beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of a very hectic Marrakech. Wonderful, helpful staff. An absolutely beautiful room. Delicious breakfast made us feel like royalty. A little bit daunting upon first arrival… you need to walk a block through the very active Medina, can be a little intimidating.

The Riad itself was beautiful and the staff were incredible. They were attentive , polite, helpful and always willing to lend a hand so that your stay and Morocco experience were amazing. The location was quite good as well . About 100 meters from Bab Dhoukala which is the main entrance to the area and where your tax would drop u off . The staff will meet u at the drop off for your bags . They arranged daily excursions which were wonderful. It is a family run business with all of the perks . Only very minor issue was water pressure and hot water were sporadically not up to snuff. Otherwise I would highly recommend the Riad Kniza for your Marakesh stay .

Absolute luxury. An oasis in the medina hustle-bustle. We were catered to by very attentive staff. Our every need was met immediately. The facilities are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast on the roof was included and sumptuous. We also had a typical Moroccan dinner twice there. It was a wonderful experience for us.

The Riad was amazing and beautiful. Free wifi and a lounge. It didn’t have coffee making facilities, fridge or desk. Centrally located in the Medina. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was well worth a visit.

The stay was amazing. We arrived a little early and were lucky to have the room ready for us. The welcome tea was very refreshing. The room itself was beautiful decorated, very clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had dinner in the evening which ended up being a private dinner on the rooftop. The waiter was excellent and the food was outstanding. When we checked out, our bags were put in a cart and taken to the main street so we could get a taxi. If we're ever back in Marrakesh, we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Riad magnifique, idéalement placé pour une visite à pied de tous les lieux touristiques. L'ensemble du personnel est très professionnel et s’est occupé de faire toutes les réservations pour nos activités. Tout était parfait, le petit déjeuné copieux et le repas servis sur le toit terrasse étaient excellents. Encore un grand merci à tout le staff du Riad pour vos sourires et votre gentillesse et tout particulièrement à Salma pour tous les conseils sur les Tajines !!! Merci également à M. Haj Mohamed Bouskri, propriétaire des lieux, pour la visite de son musée privé et l'accueil qu'il nous a réservé.
Riad magnifique, idéalement placé pour une visite à pied de tous les lieux touristiques. L'ensemble du personnel est très professionnel et s’est occupé de faire toutes les réservations pour nos activités. Tout était parfait, le petit déjeuné copieux et le repas servis sur le toit terrasse étaient excellents. Encore un grand merci à tout le staff du Riad pour vos sourires et votre gentillesse et tout particulièrement à Salma pour tous les conseils sur les Tajines !!! Merci également à M. Haj Mohamed Bouskri, propriétaire des lieux, pour la visite de son musée privé et l'accueil qu'il nous a réservé.

Beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of a very hectic Marrakech. Wonderful, helpful staff. An absolutely beautiful room. Delicious breakfast made us feel like royalty. A little bit daunting upon first arrival… you need to walk a block through the very active Medina, can be a little intimidating.

Outstanding service at a Riad, the staff was very attentive to our needs and eager to serve. Food was also very appetizing and had more flavor than any of the restaurants we visited. The Riad staff was also very open and eager for feedback for improvement t, suggesting a growth mindset.

Everything was exquisite. Only thing is the Moroccan diet is bread heavy so if you are gluten intolerant - inform hotel ahead of time for arrangements. That’s just the general cuisine, as for the hotel, everything was superb. Breakfast in the roof is more than perfect and it ends at noon. A plus.

Riad Kniza is a jewel in the Medina in Marrakesh. The architecture of the Riad is stunning, the accommodations are luxurious, and the service is exceptional. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Riad Kniza and the meals were delicious.

Hotel was greatly located. It was clean, peaceful, beautiful, great breakfast, but the most important thing was the service by the personnel, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us with anything we needed, in the Riad or any activity we had planned. Highly recommended!

We felt so comfortable and taken care of here at this beautiful Riad. We had no idea what to expect and in fact when we had to get dropped off a little distance from the Riad in a very hectic and foreign area, we were not sure what to expect. But when we entered the Riad, it was truly like an oasis in the middle of a desert. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Our room, a junior suite was so lovely and perfect. It was very clean and comfortable with hand crafted finishes everywhere. One of my favorite things was breakfast on the rooftop (included) and the Hammam. If you’re looking for an authentic Moroccan stay, this is the place. And be sure to ask the owner, Mohammed for a tour of his private museum across the way from the Riad. It’s amazing.

My stay at Riad Kniza was magical. The minute you walk in from the street, you are transported into a home which is both beautiful and serene. The staff are so kind, accommodating and helpful. Any question I had, they took the time to answer and truly made my experience in the city something I will never forget. The riad is quiet, even though you’re in the Medina. The traditional hammam was excellent and the pool beautiful. I truly cannot say enough about this riad. My junior suite was gorgeous and I felt a pang of sadness when I packed my bags. I hope to stay there again in the future and bring friends to this magical oasis.
