The whole experience of being in an old Hacienda that has been kept in great condition makes this stay wonderful. Great mixology too. Close to Izamal so it opens its doors to all the cultural things that Izamal offers you. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely stay here again.

We had a very nice and relaxing 2 night stay at the Hacienda. It is a beautiful and secluded hotel with colonial charm. Breakfast: it is included and it was very nice: coffee, juice, fresh fruits, toasted bread with butter, and eggs. They do not have an indoor eating area --guests eat outside in the patio/terrace. The setting is beautiful, but can be chilly in the mornings. Rooms: Not all rooms are located in the main building, some are in an annex building (maybe, old barns). Rooms are spacious, very clean, and have comfortable mattresses. Bathrooms are big as well, equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. No door between bathroom and bed area, just a big curtain (more for decoration purposes, as it always stayed open). Little pressure in the shower (very big shower with not enough water). No iron, hair dryer, or coffee maker in the rooms. (we stayed at 2 different rooms -one king size bed, the other 2 full-size mattress beds, and both rooms were the same regarding shower and amenities). MUST DO: Romantic dinner. If you have the opportunity, schedule a romantic dinner. The quality of the food is wonderful, and attention to detail is also fantastic. EXCELENTE lugar. La alberca está super agradable para estar un buen rato, buena temperatura y muy bonito el alrededor. El personal super amable y servicial. Buenas opciones en el menu para desayuno, comida y cena, la hacienda esta preciosa, se siente mucha paz con estar ahi. Cuartos muy amplios.

Sympa mais peu de fenêtres dans la chambre, du coup une ambiance un peu glauque, et le restaurant fermait à 18h00 le soir de notre venue sans avoir été prévenu avant notre arrivée. Transats un peu vieillissant.

This is the most unique stay I've ever had. It is a converted Hacienda and the rooms have names, not numbers. We stayed in Poppy, one of the large rooms on the main building. The ceilings must have been 18 feet tall and the rooms are gorgeous. There is no door between the main room and the restroom; only a curtain. The shower is enormous and beautiful, but the water pressure was low. The included breakfast was delicious, but this is in the countryside and there are critters flying around. It's also incredibly warm. There's no parking lot, only a grassy area. You have to leave the road on a side road to get here, so don't turn exactly when the GPS tells you unless you want to drive down a rocky hill. The air conditioner doesn't keep it cool to American standards. You can use the Jet mode to get a little more air out of it. I also travel with a little USB fan. There is a ceiling fan that helps a little. We would stay here again. Izamal is a lovely city. This is about 3 mile out of town. The staff were very friendly. I speak Spanish so I don't know how well they speak English.

This could easily be 5 stars but the property maintenence is seriously lacking and the customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. Do not expect a coffee, tea or water before 8am or after 8pm.

Me parece un lugar espectacular para pasar unos dias. Es precioso y los desayunos estan super ricos. Todo fue perfecto. U detalle para mejorar es la senora de la limpieza ya que ignoraba lo que le solicitaba. Pude realizarli sola pero era parte de lo que le tocaba

Las habitaciones son estilo rústico está bien pero si deben darle mantenimiento la pintura ya está agrietada el espejo del baño muy hermoso y grande pero ya está muy manchado las porciones de jabón y shampoo son como para una sola persona, el restaurante lo cierran muy temprano y no cuentan con todo lo q dice su carta, demasiados moscos en las habitaciones y no cuentan con mosquiteros

This Hacienda is beautiful. Each room is unique and beautiful and spotlessly clean. The food at the restaurant was very good. It’s only 10 minutes away from the beautiful town of Izamal so the location is perfect if you have a car. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back.

Sin poder dormir por la cantidad de zancudos (moyotes) dentro de la habitación, telarañas entre pared y colchón porque no hay cabeceras, matamos dos arañas en el baño y un alacrán en la habitación, el clima de baja capacidad, abanico de techo sin control de velocidad y muy ruidoso, el peor hotel en Mérida que engaña en sus fotos porque la realidad es otra además de muy caro, nada recomendable

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich wie auf eine Hazienda des vergangenen Jahrhunderts zurückversetzt. wir waren die einzigen Gäste und bekamen bei Ankunft ein kostenloses Upgrade. Top! Sehr sauber und nettes Personal. Frühstück ist für mexikanische Verhältnisse in Ordnung. Jederzeit wieder

Das Haus ist total verfallen und der Garten absolut ungepflegt. Die Speisen sind dürftig, viel zu wenig und dafür überteuert. Unser Zimmer war voller Mücken und die Dusche hat in alle Richtungen gespritzt. Es gab für jeden nur ein Handtuch und die Matratzen sind alt und total durchgelegen! Der Übernachtungspreis für diese Leistung ist absolut zu hoch! Es kann nur abgeraten werden.

Amazing place and we highly recommending it for couple or family vacation. We had few issues: we didn’t have remote from AC and after storm we didn’t have electricity for a day, internet is week. BUT it didn’t ruined our stay, we loved it and we will be back for sure!
Amazing place and we highly recommending it for couple or family vacation. We had few issues: we didn’t have remote from AC and after storm we didn’t have electricity for a day, internet is week. BUT it didn’t ruined our stay, we loved it and we will be back for sure!

This is the most unique stay I've ever had. It is a converted Hacienda and the rooms have names, not numbers. We stayed in Poppy, one of the large rooms on the main building. The ceilings must have been 18 feet tall and the rooms are gorgeous. There is no door between the main room and the restroom; only a curtain. The shower is enormous and beautiful, but the water pressure was low. The included breakfast was delicious, but this is in the countryside and there are critters flying around. It's also incredibly warm. There's no parking lot, only a grassy area. You have to leave the road on a side road to get here, so don't turn exactly when the GPS tells you unless you want to drive down a rocky hill. The air conditioner doesn't keep it cool to American standards. You can use the Jet mode to get a little more air out of it. I also travel with a little USB fan. There is a ceiling fan that helps a little. We would stay here again. Izamal is a lovely city. This is about 3 mile out of town. The staff were very friendly. I speak Spanish so I don't know how well they speak English.

We stayed in Hacienda Sacnicte for one night . The place is beautiful with only 3 negative comments: 1. We stayed one night in Room Coco on January 6/2022. Careful with this room , all the windows are glass windows ( no curtains or blinds) so at 6 am the room was full of light. Impossible to spleep!! :-( 2. The continental breakfast offers juices from a box ( no fresh juices) this is something quite rare in Mexico where fresh juices are offered even in less expensive accommodations . Eggs were served cold and the same goes for the the beans . 3. For dinner we ordered the teriyaki Salmon ( served overcooked) and the tuna served on a bed of mash potatoes ( no very appealing to the eyes) . Both dishes were served cold . I will not recommend to stay in this place considering price and quality combined .

The property is beautiful. However I dislike some details . The room bathroom does not have a door and it is separated from bedroom only with a thin courtain. The bed mattress was bad. The AC unit is not enough to cool the room and the fan is very noisy. Restaurant is outdoors, in the patio, and there are no fans to keep the patio fresh. Restaurant did not have available all items mentioned in the menu.

Me gusto mucho el hotel, lindo lugar lindas instalaciones. El aire un poco pequeño para el tamaño del cuarto, pues son dos espacios y doble altura, sin embargo sumandole el abanico no hubo problema, ojala lo solucionen para verano, habia buen clima. No me gusto que al llegar me quisieron dar una habitación inferior a la que había reservado, les dije que era una master suite y me querían dar una deluxe que es de la mitad del tamaño. Al final me dijeron que verían si había disponibilidad cuando ya estaba reservada y pagada. De ahí en fuera todo bien.

Los aires acondicionados demasiado pequeños y jamás logran enfriar la habitación, ACLARO, no por falla del equipo, sino que por tamaño. Le suplicas a RECEPCIÓN un ventilador de pie, de piso y no te lo dan a pesar de tenerlo ahí. La temperatura a 39° de noche (11 de mayo). Un HORNO. Es cuestión de MALA ACTITUD DE LOS EMPLEADOS. Y a la hora del desayuno, el servicio FATAL.

La atención del personal hasta ahora ha sido excelente. Nos hubiera gustado contar con papel higiénico de buena calidad y kleenex. Seguramente alcanzarian en la suite un par de pequeñas mesas para colocar las maletas. La cena simplemente estuvo deliciosa.

This Haçienda is 9 minutes outside of town and surrounded by countryside The front and public parts of the hotel are very attractive and have a faded beauty that is lovely. Our room was fine if a little tired and needed some love. The young woman who checked us in may have been having a bad day but she was very short with us, looking pointedly at her watch as if to say our presence wasn’t convenient and quick to tell us what we couldn't do or have rather than what we could. We noticed she treated an elderly couple similarly later and even made them carry all their bags to their room in the grounds. The other staff were sweet but breakfast service was agonisingly slow. We checked out fast. Fine for an overnight but don’t seek it out unless you hear they’ve worked on the service!

The whole experience of being in an old Hacienda that has been kept in great condition makes this stay wonderful. Great mixology too. Close to Izamal so it opens its doors to all the cultural things that Izamal offers you. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely stay here again.

This property is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. I like that it was quiet. It isn’t near downtown Izamal but cabs are cheap about 250 pesos. Only 10 bedrooms available. My two complaints dinner was very slow. Took over an hour. I wish they would have brought our appetizer and drinks first but they brought everything at once. Second complaint there is only outdoor eating unless you decide to eat in your room in the dining area there were a lot of flies. I understand we were outdoors but it drove me crazy. But seriously don’t let that stop you from going that’s how beautiful this place is!

This Hacienda is beautiful. Each room is unique and beautiful and spotlessly clean. The food at the restaurant was very good. It’s only 10 minutes away from the beautiful town of Izamal so the location is perfect if you have a car. We loved this hotel and will definitely be back.

We had a very nice and relaxing 2 night stay at the Hacienda. It is a beautiful and secluded hotel with colonial charm. Breakfast: it is included and it was very nice: coffee, juice, fresh fruits, toasted bread with butter, and eggs. They do not have an indoor eating area --guests eat outside in the patio/terrace. The setting is beautiful, but can be chilly in the mornings. Rooms: Not all rooms are located in the main building, some are in an annex building (maybe, old barns). Rooms are spacious, very clean, and have comfortable mattresses. Bathrooms are big as well, equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. No door between bathroom and bed area, just a big curtain (more for decoration purposes, as it always stayed open). Little pressure in the shower (very big shower with not enough water). No iron, hair dryer, or coffee maker in the rooms. (we stayed at 2 different rooms -one king size bed, the other 2 full-size mattress beds, and both rooms were the same regarding shower and amenities). MUST DO: Romantic dinner. If you have the opportunity, schedule a romantic dinner. The quality of the food is wonderful, and attention to detail is also fantastic. The setting (spa area) is very private, peaceful, and romantic. A memorable experience, highly recommended. Overall, a very nice stay. A couple of things noted above that could be improved for a top-notch hotel experience.

La experiencia global fue muy buena, el trato del personal es excelente, las suites preciosas. El único detalle es la comida, el menú es muy limitado, además de que lo sirven a destiempo y frio, sin sazón con poco sabor. Tuvimos que buscar donde comer bien los demás días.

This hacienda has a lot of charm and is very authentic. The staff was great. The swimming pool is very big. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was good. What could be improved (knowing however that the hotel is not very expensive): - the filtering system of the swimming pool could work better (or be switched on more often) - the staff could pay more attention to the cleanliness around the swimming pool - our room was very big, with an opening towards outside without window (just a mosquito net), which makes that the A/C was not really effective (we couldn't get the room temperature lower than 26 degrees Celsius)

What could be improved (knowing however that the hotel is not very expensive): - the filtering system of the swimming pool could work better (or be switched on more often) - the staff could pay more attention to the cleanliness around the swimming pool - our room was very big, with an opening towards outside without window (just a mosquito net), which makes that the A/C was not really effective (we couldn't get the room temperature lower than 26 degrees Celsius)

Prachtige hacienda en de suite was erg groot. Wel jammer dat we een dode kakkerlak vonden naast het bed-die hebben we zelf snel opgeruimd. Personeel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk en heerlijk gegeten.

Son habitaciones separadas como cuartos, pero donde nos tocó, el baño no tiene nada de privacidad, literal atrás de la cama está la taza de baño, sin pared y puertas. Solo unas telas y una pared de un metro es lo que divide el baño con el cuarto.
