It was a fantastic hotel. The staff are incredibly accommodating. The hotel restaurant was great. We walked all over. There's an indoor bazaar nearby and the town square is maybe a few blocks away.

Lovely historic building 1.5 blocks from Centro plaza. Excellent staff, comfortable king platform bed, mini split AC, bar restaurant upstairs. Not for disabled people given stairs.

The architecture and stylistic choices are unique. The staff were excellent and arranged several interesting experiences for us, including cooking classes and trips around the area. The breakfast is arranged in the courtyard. We met several guests and had very interesting conversations with them. The restaurant food and bar are excellent. The property is very close to the main markets and zocalo.

This hotel is truly beautiful, the roof top pool / lounging area and gorgeous restaurant where they serve breakfast were a great place to relax after a busy day exploring in Oaxaca. Our room was large and comfortable, we were on the ground floor and our window was internal and very small which we didn't tend to open as meant anyone walking past could see right in, so I would suggest booking a room on the upper floor at the front with windows on to the street for more light and privacy. The staff were all friendly and lovely, and the location is perfect in the middle of everything. Would recommend!

Wonderful stay at Hotel sin Nombre. Very central to everything in Oaxaca City. If you don't like noise, as for rooms in back. Friendly staff, great food and rooftop. Highly recommend.

The hotel name it’s self caught my eye! Booked and made my reservation. I stayed in a small village for a few weeks with no hot water and I was ready for a nice hotel. On my way to the hotel I had no service till about 20 mins till my arrival. Checked my messages and they had messaged me already asking when my arrival was so they could great me! Which they did, the gentleman walked up to me with such a huge smile and asked about my travel and it made us feel so comfortable. Handed me an amazing flavored water that clenched my thirst after such a long travel and an alcohol towel for my hands. Showed us around and made sure we were aware that he’d be downstairs if we needed him at anytime. Our room was peaceful. Dark but not to dark and very cozy. Sipped on some mezcal and ate a couple different fruits and nuts they left for us in a bowl in our room as well as the Mezcal! Walked up to the restaurant and had our minds set on a couple things that weren’t on the menu .. to which the amazing server asked the chef and they made us the amazing dinner plate we wanted! Walked back to our room and layed in the amazing Ace and connected to there WiFi! Check out was super easy to which they had already called a taxi for us! I appreciate you guys so much! Keep up the amazing work! Love ya! Ps they also had a library and a pool oh and a cute little area where you can sit in some hammocks!

Hotel Sin Nombre blew away our expectations. In a bustling city - it is a slice of tranquility. I enjoyed their restaurant for coffee and breakfast each morning, as well as winding down the day with Mezcal and apps. All the staff is professionally and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here and will be back soon for another stay!

The room was quaint and cleanly. I enjoyed the traditional lock and key versus a key card. Breakfast in the morning was so tasty with great wait staff. Front desk was super helpful in getting me a taxi for my flight back home!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The complementary breakfast with coffee was amazing. ( please tip the severs) The rooms were a bit dark but clean and comfortable. Beautiful aesthetic and art. My only complaint, I am a white wine consumer, I feel that 400 pesos for a glass of wine was very expensive. I would have like to enjoy the roof top bar more but was uncomfortable with the prices.

La habitación no estaba en adecuada condiciones , había una cucaracha a nuestra llegada , la cual nunca retiraron porque no hicieron el aseo de la habitación. Creo el costo es elevado para lo que ofrecen, en comparación con su competencia , las batas son de mala calidad , no brindan pantunflas, no existe TV, minibar en la habitación. Se entiende que buscan un concepto distinto para diferenciarse , pero no consideramos que sea acorde a lo que cobran por noche , sinceramente no rehresariamos. Otra cosa es la retención que hacen de 1500 pesos mexicanos por noche , es una tontería, ya que nosotros liquidamos el total de la habitación desde antes. Y el único consumo de 100 pesos que hicimos, pero preguntaban si deseaba pagarlo en efectivo o con tarjeta, cuando ya tenían cobrados esos 3000 y justo para eso eran. Espero no tener problemas con la devolución de esa retención, es lo único que me preocupa. Ojalá logran cambiar esos aspectos , ya que su ubicación , y resto de instalaciones del hotel son atractivas.

My wife and i stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Our goal was to be in the center and walking distance to many great places and restaurants in Oaxaca Centro. I have to say, that we were so happy with this hotel. It is perfect located. 2 minutes from the main plaza (zocalo), 3 minutes from the mercados, and walking distance from many great restaurants. You step out of the door and you are in the middle of the action. But i have to say the rooms are super quiet. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. The hotel is a mix between modern and traditional. The design is amazing. There is a great restaurant on too of the hotel and a bar on the ground floor. There were only minor flaws in the room, that i wanted to point out. (I also mentioned it to the hotel staff, so they can fix it). We often had no water pressure in the shower and the hot water comes and goes. For a hotel of this price class, they should have good water pressure and always hot water. Our AC (minisplit) was super loud. It made a wind noise. The bed matress is on a wood base. But it slides super easy on that base. So sometimes it slipped away from the wall or to a side. But all in all this hotel is perfect for a city trip.

Our stay here was very pleasing. Immediately you were greeted in a very kind way and received a tour of the place. The staff was super friendly, our rooms were cleaned daily. We were treated very nicely at the bar with Rodrigo and Alán, the breakfast that was included was very tasty. I highly recommend this place.

Our hotel room had no window, was painted all black and had very dim lighting. When we asked for a room with a window to the outside they could not accommodate us. Not a great place to stay if you need normal light or if you’re even mildly claustrophobic.

It’s a nice hotel, but it is priced so far above the local market rate (esp off season) that I wouldn’t stay here again. Also, our room had no window - several don’t. The staff were very nice but when we stayed there we had multiple buzzing around us trying to interest us in their services. Instead of that, an upgrade to one of the nicer empty rooms and maybe a more generous breakfast would have been great…

The hotel itself is beautiful, and we loved the felt history of the building underneath the modernity. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. We chose this hotel mostly for its location, but also because we liked the words "rest" and "tranquil" in its description, but there was a night of our stay where it was anything but. They moved the band from the rooftop inside due to rain, and it was very, very loud. The hotel is not very large and with little insulation so when this happens, it sounds like the band is in your room. We had just come back from a long day of sight-seeing, so this was a bit of a bummer surprise. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

I would have like to enjoy the roof top bar more but was uncomfortable with the prices.

My wife and i stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Our goal was to be in the center and walking distance to many great places and restaurants in Oaxaca Centro. This hotel is truly beautiful, the roof top pool / lounging area and gorgeous restaurant where they serve breakfast were a great place to relax after a busy day exploring in Oaxaca. Our room was large and comfortable, we were on the ground floor and our window was internal and very small which we didn't tend to open as meant anyone walking past could see right in, so I would suggest booking a room on the upper floor at the front with windows on to the street for more light and privacy. The staff were all friendly and lovely, and the location is perfect in the middle of everything. Would recommend!

I had a decent experience with the hotel until after I checked out. On our last day, as we were heading out the door, the front desk comes running up to me to tell me that they couldn't find their laundry bag. After confirming with my mom that she did indeed take it, I told the hotel to go ahead and charge it. The price aside (500 MEX for a flimsy tote bag, which my mom had misunderstood from the concierge that it would be free), we did take it so paying for it wasn't an issue. However, a day later, I found out the hotel charged me for two bags. After speaking with the hotel, they advised that a second shoe bag was also missing. We did not take this second bag, and the hotel agreed to refund me. That was in August. After numerous emails between myself and the hotel, whereby the hotel advised over and over again that they would process the refund, they still have yet to do so. Not only that, they said the only way to refund is for me to provide them my bank's wiring information. For 500 MEX. That's just crazy.

I loved this hotel—stylish, comfortable bed, wonderful location, nice restaurant but it was the staff that made it special. I needed assistance at 2am and the night clerk came to my aid without hesitation. Then for the rest of my stay all the staff inquired if I was ok and could they help me. Way above what is expected. My deep and sincere thanks to them all.

It was a fantastic hotel. The staff are incredibly accommodating. The hotel restaurant was great. We walked all over. There's an indoor bazaar nearby and the town square is maybe a few blocks away.

The architecture and stylistic choices are unique. The staff were excellent and arranged several interesting experiences for us, including cooking classes and trips around the area. The breakfast is arranged in the courtyard. We met several guests and had very interesting conversations with them. The restaurant food and bar are excellent. The property is very close to the main markets and zocalo.

Our stay here was very pleasing. Immediately you were greeted in a very kind way and received a tour of the place. The staff was super friendly, our rooms were cleaned daily. We were treated very nicely at the bar with Rodrigo and Alán, the breakfast that was included was very tasty. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel Sin Nombre blew away our expectations. In a bustling city - it is a slice of tranquility. I enjoyed their restaurant for coffee and breakfast each morning, as well as winding down the day with Mezcal and apps. All the staff is professionally and very friendly. I highly recommend staying here and will be back soon for another stay!

What a charming hotel right next to the Zocalo. Highly recommend. Convenient to all locations you'd want to see in Old Town Oaxaca. Staff was so accommodating. Arranging taxis for transportation to sites, guide service to Monte Alban, mezcal tastings, etc. Walking distance to Michelin-starred restaurants Los Danzantes and Levadura de Olla. Breakfast was included in room charge -- menu was simple and food was well prepared. Service was impeccable. Hotel was charming in its interior design that reminded me of a Moroccan riad that I stayed in once. Only downside (why I knocked one star off my rating) was some aspects of the room. Was spacious but needed a real closet to keep things tidy and drawer space. Also, our room was painted black (others were white) which made it challenging to navigate in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom! Bathroom was pretty spacious and had large bottles of bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, which was great.
What a charming hotel right next to the Zocalo. Highly recommend. Convenient to all locations you'd want to see in Old Town Oaxaca. Staff was so accommodating. Arranging taxis for transportation to sites, guide service to Monte Alban, mezcal tastings, etc. Walking distance to Michelin-starred restaurants Los Danzantes and Levadura de Olla. Breakfast was included in room charge -- menu was simple and food was well prepared. Service was impeccable. Hotel was charming in its interior design that reminded me of a Moroccan riad that I stayed in once. Great location in the middle of Oaxaca. The rooftop area and pool is great and the cocktails were lovely. The rooms were slightly basic with little storage but still very nicely done.
