The room was beautiful and clean however, the pool was cold and they never turned on the heat, not even in the Jacuzzi and we were looking forward to it. What’s the purpose of having one? First night we were there, we asked for ice and only came after several calls and late at night. We asked for coffee cups and they arrived the day we left. The worst part, on the first evening, due to a storm, they lost a transformer that caused us being left with out power and water till 3 pm the next day. We could not bathe, wash or flush till they brought in buckets of water from the pool. We get it, the storm is part of nature, but in a hotel, you would think they would have an emergency power plant especially if these storms happen often in the area. Apparently the staff has suggested to management that they invest in one but they have yet to approve the expense. For convenience, we had dinner in the hotel the day we arrived. It was a seafood buffet that lacked seafood options and the presentation was also lacking. We tried their breakfast and that was much better and convenient since it’s a bit far. In the end, we were disappointed and felt short changed. We were offered a massage and although we appreciated the offer we just didn’t have the time or the mood for it.

Todo muy bonito con muchos detalles mexicanos y cariño. Está a 20 minutos del centro en taxi. La alberca está perfecta para relajarse después de un día de excursión.

We stayed a week, enjoying Oaxaca while having the Casa de Adobe to escape to. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Grounds were lush and enjoyable. Where things could be improved: The hot tub/spa was colder than the pool which was not something we would expect. Requires a cab ride to get to city center.

Really loved this hotel! The staff and driver outside the hotel were super friendly and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Oaxaca. The only issue we had was there was a thunderstorm and the hotel lost access to water. So for one day, there was no running water in the rooms, but that wasn’t really the hotel‘s fault. And they did everything to accommodate that until they got it fixed. There’s one restaurant on site which had really good food and drinks. The pool is amazing and heated, and the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the centro. Ask for Alfredo if you need a ride anywhere, he’s the BEST! The only thing I could possibly complain about is the room didn’t stay that cold with the AC, but it wasn’t awful.

First and foremost, the property looks great online. The pool is under repair - BIG BUMMER! Rooms are great! The front desk team is GREAT- ANDREA AND FREDRICO! The location is 15 minutes from Centro so back and forth... The BIG downer is that the Bar upstairs plays THUMPING MUSIC ALL DAY AND UNTIL 11pm Will not recommend ever as long as that is the plan. Not peaceful just noise noise noise. Great team but stupid owner who thinks LOUND THUMPING MUSIC IS RELAXING -- ABSOLUTLY A DEAL KILLER. WEAK IN THE FOOD DEPARTMENT.

The grounds were beautiful, the room was spotless and perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond and checked us in early as well as found information for us so we can attend a local soccer game.

It's a quaint boutique hotel with a lot if charm. Property commen area as well as the room was clean and has all the amenities needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The large square footage of rooms are amazing, the best shower I have ever had. Rene, Fernando, Arturo all the staff members are on point and always at your service. Only thing I would add is to have TV channels with subtitles or an English option channel. Perhaps have live musicians in the bar and club area, (beautiful views from there)....

Great place, looks like new. The one restaurant with awesome food and service. The location is too far with horrible streets , at least the GPS uses the worst possible routes. In straight line just 5min into a low income area. The rooms also outstanding

When we arrived to check in the hotel did not have power or water. Obviously we were not going to stay there especially because they weren’t sure when it would be back on. We had to book another hotel last minute and did not stay here at all. I have tried to call every day to talk to the manager who is apparently the only one who can discuss a refund, but she has conveniently not been there every single time. It’s been almost a week so of them saying “she’ll be here tomorrow at 10” then me calling and she’s once again not there. Very stressful and frustrating experience.

The only thing that was at times frustrating was trying to communicate because I did not speak Spanish. Some of the staff could understand some English, so eventually we usually managed to get what we wanted. They were all very nice and efficient.

We had a fantasy time at this hotel, staff super friendly and very helpful. Loved the rooom, super clean, loved the hotel The only complain, restaurant staff a little to slow for what I’m used to. But just relax go with time and you will enjoy it. Food was great at the hotel.

The receptionist working the front desk in the evening seem to be out of touch with guest. I asked a question regarding a tour and she seemed bothered to help. Other than that everyone was really nice. Place is beautiful !

Casa Adobe is a great option for families or groups. The staff is well trained with amazing attitude. The location could be the only con (25-30 from downtown by taxi). Food is superior for breakfast. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Service was amazing. One of the staff known as Pepe gave me his reccomendation for some of his favorite restaurants, after I didnt have the best experience in Mercado 20 de noviembre. The food he reccomended was amazing and he gave us a whole page of places to visit in the city. I do reccomend now that visiting Oaxaca City may better without a car rental, sinceyou can get lost in town without worrying where your car is parked. Regardless, this was a memorable experience nonetheless.

My family enjoyed the cultural design along with the quietness, and the bar. The only one thing that is a negative is that it is too far from restaurants and the Centro of the city. Taxis were inconsistent due to the distance.

Nice rooms, nice staff, cute hotel. Can be loud especially if the restaurant is having a party, food isn’t good, not a buffet breakfast. Location is far from the city center. Felt more like a 3 star hotel

Really loved this hotel! The staff and driver outside the hotel were super friendly and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Oaxaca. The only issue we had was there was a thunderstorm and the hotel lost access to water. So for one day, there was no running water in the rooms, but that wasn’t really the hotel‘s fault. And they did everything to accommodate that until they got it fixed. There’s one restaurant on site which had really good food and drinks. The pool is amazing and heated, and the hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the centro. Ask for Alfredo if you need a ride anywhere, he’s the BEST! The only thing I could possibly complain about is the room didn’t stay that cold with the AC, but it wasn’t awful.

Overall, really liked Casa de Adobe. The facilities and rooms are gorgeous, staff is very nice, however they claim to be 6 min driving from the downtown area and this is not true. It is approximately 15 minutes driving from downtown, which is pretty inconvenient if you were thinking of walking somewhere for dinner, etc.

Casa Adobe is a great option for families or groups. The staff is well trained with amazing attitude. The location could be the only con (25-30 from downtown by taxi). Food is superior for breakfast. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in a high-scale area of Oaxaca, very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were super clean and perfect. The hotel has a great restaurant or there are additional eating areas a couple of blocks away. Walking to the centro is about 55 minutes or a 20 min. taxi ride for about $12 dollars. We felt very safe walking all around the area.

Too far from town. Takes about 20 mins by taxi to and fro. We were not happy with the location, nor with the fact that tour operators did not wish to pick us up for tours as we were too far outside city center. BUYER BEWARE: Hotel management refused to give us any kind of credit or refund for our 4 unused nights, after we stayed for 3 nights and paid for 7. No accommodation whatsoever for the client. We moved to center of Oaxaca and were much happier.

The room was beautiful and clean however, the pool was cold and they never turned on the heat, not even in the Jacuzzi and we were looking forward to it. What’s the purpose of having one? First night we were there, we asked for ice and only came after several calls and late at night. We asked for coffee cups and they arrived the day we left. The worst part, on the first evening, due to a storm, they lost a transformer that caused us being left with out power and water till 3 pm the next day. We could not bathe, wash or flush till they brought in buckets of water from the pool. We get it, the storm is part of nature, but in a hotel, you would think they would have an emergency power plant especially if these storms happen often in the area. Apparently the staff has suggested to management that they invest in one but they have yet to approve the expense. For convenience, we had dinner in the hotel the day we arrived. It was a seafood buffet that lacked seafood options and the presentation was also lacking. We tried their breakfast and that was much better and convenient since it’s a bit far. In the end, we were disappointed and felt short changed. We were offered a massage and although we appreciated the offer we just didn’t have the time or the mood for it.

The grounds were beautiful, the room was spotless and perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond and checked us in early as well as found information for us so we can attend a local soccer game.

The travel package we bought through Expedia included breakfast. However, the waiter at the restaurant told us it only included an american-type breakfast which meant we could only choose 2 or 3 very basic meals from the menu. We felt cheated.

We had a fantasy time at this hotel, staff super friendly and very helpful. Loved the rooom, super clean, loved the hotel The only complain, restaurant staff a little to slow for what I’m used to. But just relax go with time and you will enjoy it. Food was great at the hotel.

Great place, looks like new. The one restaurant with awesome food and service. The location is too far with horrible streets , at least the GPS uses the worst possible routes. In straight line just 5min into a low income area. The rooms also outstanding

Hotel was beautiful and staff were amazing. The breakfast was good. Would have preferred a menu but they will make almost anything you want. Location was not great since you had to get a taxi to get into town each time. Hot tub was just a lukewarm pool. Kids were loud sometimes until late. Overall and beautiful hotel and great staff just not entirely the experience I was looking for.

The hotel sells day passes to the pool area so it is effectively unusable for hotel guests. Every day there will be more day pass guests than there are lounge chairs and there are always numerous children. The hotel staff also so not enforce the rules of the pool at all. We had to leave the hotel for a ssh because the local children were screaming so loudly and so constantly that we couldn’t even be in our room… let alone the pool area. I asked the staff if they would enforce the rules and they refused. I would not recommend this hotel unless you don’t care about using the pool and plan to be gone during the daytime.

This hotel is not close to the City center but it’s so worth it. This hotel is extremely clean, the staff is very attentive and they treat you as if you are the only guest there. They also have an amazing restaurant with great food and drinks. The concierge are always available to help and have a taxi ready for you when needed. They also have a great referral for a private transportation service, (Alfredo). He will also offer private tours.
