Very nice Hotel with some little details to take care on Maintenance specially Watter Park and some public restrooms Only complaint is that the entertainment is very limited Not even Music in the pool area at any time Not too many entertainment activities more than mediocre Night Shows The staff wonderful and the Unique Club and options around it were really valuable

Property itself beautiful. Beautiful beach (only small negative were the boats). Main pool beautiful but no swim up bar and water a little a cold for my liking. Also unique and adults only pool we’re too small really not worth it. Food was generally really good. Steakhouse and the unique grill by the beach was amazing. What I didn’t like was the breakfast buffet and American valley food. Drinks were generally pretty good. Service was hit or miss. Butler was amazing (did pretty much whatever we asked including booking our ride to the airport, suprise champagne for my birthday, and a bottle of red and white on our request. Check in sucked didn’t give us our welcome drinks and generally the servers are few and far between at the beach and pool. Overall great resort but could use improvement in certain areas

Very modern and classy upscale property. Food options and amenities including pools are very good. Service is sometimes lacking and disorganized. Beach area could be better. But overall a very good resort hotel for Punta Cana. Would definitely return.

Overall we were pleased with some aspects, not so much with others. The pros: Swim up suite is very nice and comfortable. The service in general is very good, with most staff being attentive and friendly. The dining restaurants offered good food and great service. The coffee shop is very nice and the gym is massive with top notch equipment. The cons: Buffets were underwhelming. There was a wide variety of rather poor quality food. This applied to both breakfast and lunch. The beach is a sore spot. Lots (and I mean LOTS) of party boats are permanently mooring on the beach. The view is fully obstructed and the water is not as clean as it can be. The sand had not been cleaned from the algae washing ashore, and even the lounging areas were not properly cleaned. The main pool is huge, but is missing a swim up bar. Overall, if you want to be away from the floks of boozy tourists, and receive good service, that’s the place to go. Just curb your “5 star” expectations around the food & beach.

We stayed at this hotel for a friend\'s wedding and left appalled by the nightmare we experienced and completely heart broken for the newlyweds. Within 48 hours of arrival, half of the guests in our group fell ill with salmonella (confirmed once they returned home), including the groom who spent several days on an IV fluids and meds in his room. He eventually gathered the energy to walk down the aisle and say "I do" only to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance before the reception began. The guests that were poisoned by the resort\'s food were charged a gross amount of money for medical care by the onsite "clinic". All of this is not to mention the hazardous conditions that developed throughout the property after a regular summer rain storm. There were roof and window leaks throughout the common areas and guest rooms, waterfalls in the elevators, and ankle deep flooding from the lobby to the pool areas. The pools turned into muddy swamps. The flooded lobby which was full of guests waiting to be moved to dry rooms, reeked of sewage. To top it off, the service and attention at the bars and restaurants left plenty to be desired. Bride & groom left devastated and with no apologies or remediation offered by Lopesan. Avoid this place like the plague!

Overall we really enjoyed our trip to Lopesan Costa Bavaro! The hotel is beautiful and they do a nice job with keeping the grounds clean! We upgraded to the Unique Club and felt it was worthwhile for the small difference in cost. We ate breakfast and lunch at the Unique Club by the beach everyday - enjoying the view of the ocean while we ate. The food choices were great at the Unique Club - I was able to each fairly healthy with omelettes and grilled chicken salads at lunch. My husband enjoyed the filet/steak options too on the grill. The restaurants were all pretty good and had decent portion sizes. The steakhouse was really good and liked that it was for adults only. We read reviews about the poor service, and were a little nervous about that. We felt that we had great service overall! Our butler was Isaury and more than willing to help us book our dinner reservations and went above and beyond to help me organize a dessert surprise for my hubby's bday. We really enjoyed the drinks at the Unique Club bar - they were definitely better than the drinks we got at other outdoor bars on the property. We loved the lobby bar in the evening with a drink before or after our dinner. Shout out to Katherine and Franklin at that bar for being so pleasant and service oriented! We loved our stay ay Lopesan Costa Bavaro.. the place is immaculate, workers are constantly tending the beautiful landscape, the staff are always cleaning, everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food was good everywhere we went. The unique experience was worth every bit extra, our butler Mr Andres was wonderful the unique beach club was excellent, I will mids my daily grilled filet mignon, and my hubby will definitely miss eating the grilled seafood while overlooking the beach. We also really enjoyed the unique pool, it was a quieter atmosphere and shady with lush trees all around for those who prefer to watch how much sun we got..the sun was there for anyone who enjoys sunbathing too..the Limon bar staff kept our cups full all day, each day we spent there. We spent our eveniings at Bavarro coffee and really enjoyed the coffee. All in all we would definitely go back.

We stayed at Lopesan in the Unique category for my 40 birthday. When we arrived , we were greeted with champagne and there was a private check in. They let us check in a little early which was great. They left a chocolate gift in our room which was delicious! We spent the majority of our time at the Unique bar on the beach and every bartender was super nice! The service was very fast and friendly! I will say that we do tip and tried to say a little bit of stuff in spanish. Basically by the 3rd day of our 8 day trip, they had our order memorized. We had butler service and it was really great! He was able to book our restaurant reservations and book our spa reservations every day with no problems. On the day of my birthday dinner, we went to the French restaurant and it was SO GOOD, and then at the end of dinner there was a major happy birthday song involving drums and tambourines! The beach was kept really clean and all of the chairs had umbrellas. There were PLENTY of chairs. There was tons of staff maintaining the gardens, beach, and property. There was chairside drink service. My room was cleaned well by housekeeping--I brought 2 damp rid bags and so the humidity was fine in my room. The show was pretty fun and the singers/dancers were really good. The most fun activity that I went to was the foam party at the adults only pool on Sunday. I LOVED my trip. I had a great time. I feel it was an exceptional value for what I got. I would definitely recommend Lopesan!
We stayed at Lopesan in the Unique category for my 40 birthday. When we arrived , we were greeted with champagne and there was a private check in. They let us check in a little early which was great. They left a chocolate gift in our room which was delicious! We spent the majority of our time at the Unique bar on the beach and every bartender was super nice! The service was very fast and friendly! I will say that we do tip and tried to say a little bit of stuff in spanish. Basically by the 3rd day of our 8 day trip, they had our order memorized. We had butler service and it was really great! He was able to book our restaurant reservations and book our spa reservations every day with no problems. On the day of my birthday dinner, we went to the French restaurant and it was SO GOOD, and then at the end of dinner there was a major happy birthday song involving drums and tambourines! The beach was kept really clean and all of the chairs had umbrellas. There were PLENTY of chairs. There was tons of staff maintaining the gardens, beach, and property. There was chairside drink service. My room was cleaned well by housekeeping--I brought 2 damp rid bags and so the humidity was fine in my room. The show was pretty fun and the singers/dancers were really good. The most fun activity that I went to was the foam party at the adults only pool on Sunday. I LOVED my trip. I had a great time. I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos before selecting Lopesan. I did not pick the resort thinking it’s going to be a “5-star” experience and you shouldn’t either. Yes it has its flaws but to my surprise I am rating this experience 1 star higher for its staff and their warmth. The only unique thing about unique is a lobster dinner (which doesn’t work for vegetarians like me), the Unique beach club (again staff makes it better than the food offered) and the VIP beach area which I loved as I wanted space and privacy. I wish there was more offering for those part of unique (like preferred dining reservations, pool access, and premium food and drinks) the property did not have top shelf drinks part of all inclusive for unique members which is a flaw. The most disappointing feature are the state of the rooms. We had a tropical queen room and there were bugs in the balcony, cockroach in the bathroom area, and even walls were thin as we could hear every passing person and their conversation. I also noticed many restrooms even the ones near Unique areas were dirty. It smelled, it was unsanitary, and everything was just taken “lightly.” While that may be the way or life in the carribean but potentially health hazardeous environment and sanitation should be a priority especially for member spaces which are “premium.” Lastly I want to mention the staff. Most staff members from Caribe, Atlantico, and unique beach areas were so warm. Especially Chef S. Singh.

The property is Absolutely Beautiful and Spotless. Every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. Especially our butler, Wendy. There were only a few things I would say need improvement. Number one being the towel huts. There are only 2 for such a big property. Going to the Adults Only or Unique pool to find out that the towels were all the way on the other side of the resort, by the beach, was annoying. The Unique restaurant was very good, however the other restaurants were just ok with Mareas being the better one and El Asador being our least favorite. All in all I’d definitely recommend this resort.

Yo fui este pasado 7 de junio lo que más me gustó de este hotel es la animación y las actividades que tienen. Fui solo a dos restaurantes el italiano que estuvo 1 hora y media y nunca llegó mi comida y el manager ni un explicación me dio y el mexicano la comida no me gustó , los demás días preferí ir al bufet , la playa muy buena la parte del vip la comida buena la bebida no tienen todas la opción pero en conjunto está buena , el aire en la habitación no enfría mucho y vi unas cuantas cucarachas , la limpieza más o menos . Hay que caminar bastante en el hotel porque es muy grande y no tienen carrito para transportarse . Pero fue divertido los grupos por la noches muy bueno y la discoteca también.

Overall we were pleased with some aspects, not so much with others. The pros: Swim up suite is very nice and comfortable. The service in general is very good, with most staff being attentive and friendly. The dining restaurants offered good food and great service. The coffee shop is very nice and the gym is massive with top notch equipment. The cons: Buffets were underwhelming. There was a wide variety of rather poor quality food. This applied to both breakfast and lunch. The beach is a sore spot. Lots (and I mean LOTS) of party boats are permanently mooring on the beach. The view is fully obstructed and the water is not as clean as it can be. The sand had not been cleaned from the algae washing ashore, and even the lounging areas were not properly cleaned. The main pool is huge, but is missing a swim up bar. Overall, if you want to be away from the floks of boozy tourists, and receive good service, that’s the place to go. Just curb your “5 star” expectations around the food & beach.

We stayed at this hotel for a friend\'s wedding and left appalled by the nightmare we experienced and completely heart broken for the newlyweds. Within 48 hours of arrival, half of the guests in our group fell ill with salmonella (confirmed once they returned home), including the groom who spent several days on an IV fluids and meds in his room. He eventually gathered the energy to walk down the aisle and say "I do" only to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance before the reception began. The guests that were poisoned by the resort\'s food were charged a gross amount of money for medical care by the onsite "clinic". All of this is not to mention the hazardous conditions that developed throughout the property after a regular summer rain storm. There were roof and window leaks throughout the common areas and guest rooms, waterfalls in the elevators, and ankle deep flooding from the lobby to the pool areas. The pools turned into muddy swamps. The flooded lobby which was full of guests waiting to be moved to dry rooms, reeked of sewage. To top it off, the service and attention at the bars and restaurants left plenty to be desired. Bride & groom left devastated and with no apologies or remediation offered by Lopesan. Avoid this place like the plague!

The resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The pools are so nice! The resort looks just like the photos. The food was pretty good considering this is an all inclusive resort. The various options for specialty dining was a nice perk. The food these restaurants offered was good as well, but keep in mind it is imperative you make a reservation. We had issues with the app so make sure to check with staff on their availability if you experience the same problem. We booked a unique room, which is supposed to come with a butler but out of the five days we stayed we never saw him/her, despite calling multiple times about this. However, we did get somewhat of a free room upgrade upon check-in which we loved (they gave us a unique ocean view room when we booked a garden view). The staff are very friendly and do their best to accommodate, but the language barrier might be an issue for some guests. We also ended up using the 24/7 room service more than we expected, so that was definitely a perk as well. For those that like to workout, the gym is also great! Probably the nicest gym I've ever used at a hotel/resort while on vacation. Overall, this resort is extremely nice and peaceful. This is a good option whether you're traveling with your partner or with your family. We'd highly recommend staying here and hope to come back soon!

We had a fabulous time at Lopesan Bavaro, other than the service. The service was fairly unfriendly most of the time, like we were an inconvenience. I know it must be hard at times to serve entitled people, which I did see at times, but the staff rarely even smiled at us when we were kind or smiling at them. The facilities were amazing, the food was FAR better than our other resort earlier in the week and it was super clean.

We loved our stay ay Lopesan Costa Bavaro.. the place is immaculate, workers are constantly tending the beautiful landscape, the staff are always cleaning, everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food was good everywhere we went. The unique experience was worth every bit extra, our butler Mr Andres was wonderful the unique beach club was excellent, I will mids my daily grilled filet mignon, and my hubby will definitely miss eating the grilled seafood while overlooking the beach. We also really enjoyed the unique pool, it was a quieter atmosphere and shady with lush trees all around for those who prefer to watch how much sun we got..the sun was there for anyone who enjoys sunbathing too..the Limon bar staff kept our cups full all day, each day we spent there. We spent our eveniings at Bavarro coffee and really enjoyed the coffee. All in all we would definitely go back.

If you need a sign to book a trip to Lopesan, this is it! There were so many people and intentional touches at Lopesan that made our stay so special! We had Unique Club Ocean View rooms which were stunning! The rooms are very clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. They delivered welcome chocolates and fruit the very first night we came which were both delicious and beautiful! The property is great for families, couples, and singles! There was not an over abundance of couples and seems to be a great property all around for everyone!

The property was absolutely beautiful! The grounds were perfectly landscaped and well lit at night. Every restaurant and bar was decorated nicely and all looked amazing! The resort is huge and never felt crowded. We had the Unique Pool almost to ourselves two days. The rooms were nice and cool, clean and spacious. We had a swim up room, and while it was beautiful, it was too cold to swim in when we visited in January (the building next to the Unique Beach Bar was in the shade most of the day). It might be fine for kids, but we only put our feet in which was kind of a bummer. The property has sooo much potential, but the service fell short in our opinion. There were times we would sit at a bar (that wasn’t busy) and a bartender wouldn’t acknowledge us for 10-15 minutes - not even a hello. Most made us feel like we were a bother before we even said a word. At almost every meal we went to something was left out or someone would say they will be back with an item you ordered then would never return. Most of the staff didn’t make you feel welcome and didn’t seem to care if you were having a nice time. It was a lot different than all of the other all inclusive resorts we have been to. I worked as a server/bartender for years and am pretty understanding and patient. The service here had me frustrated.

The property was gorgeous! Most of the staff made sure to keep an eye out for those guests that were not unique (VIP) trying to use unique only services such as the pool, bars and restaurant which was nice. I paid extra for those perks for a reason. There were several staff members that were so attentive every single day no matter where they saw you, they made sure that you were taken care of! We had an ocean view room which was absolutely beautiful. The air conditioning worked perfectly compared to prior resorts that I have stayed at. The only issue I really had was the hot water

I didn’t like that I could not make a reservation at any of the restaurants. I called right at 8am and was not able to get anything. Also the room did not really cool down, the AC unit was weak. I was not a fan of the open bathroom and lack of privacy.

Unique swim up room was amazing. Property was beautiful. Restaurants had fantastic food. Buffets were just ok, service was lacking and shows are really late. So we had an amazing time but probably not the best for young families.

Todo el personal muy atento y súper amable el servicio en general es excelente y todo muy limpio la comida muy buena, solo un inconveniente tenía una habitación con piscina afuera cuando hice mi reservación pedí si me podían dar la habitación 1126 que la había utilizado el año anterior me dieron la 1294 y no pude utilizar la piscina por qué el sistema de re circulación de agua no funciono hasta el lunes a las 5:00 pm que me cambiaron de habitación

Amazing property fantastic beach. The food was good it was just unfortunate. We could not get reservations at a few of the places, and unfortunately the ones that we could get reservations at we could not get them until late at night. The buffets were very hit or miss. It was a gorgeous property nice rooms some of the downside to the rooms were only one of the outlets walked in the whole room. The odor of must was so bad and unfortunately, our cleaning staff never came in until late at night. They never knocked and just entered most of the time we were napping, or getting into the shower, and they never waited to hear an answer. There is no door hangers to put on to tell staff to not enter.

Lopesan was one of the best all inclusive i have tried. The food was great, staff are great. I gave the facility 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1 the power outlet are loose. Its hard to charge your devices. You need to bring a european extension. 2 is the shower there is no hot water option. But all was great..

We've stayed at this hotel in 2022 which was amazing! We absolutely loved it and therefore, decided to come back. The service at this hotel has declined significantly. There were no carts available to transport guests from the beach to the water park, which was inconvenient. The lounge chairs got old, and the check-in process at the unique area took over an hour, which was frustrating. The food selection was average at best, and I had to wait hours at the grill for food. Overall, the experience was not up to the expected standards.

The property is great. The food is just ok. The service is poor almost everywhere with some exceptions. The staff needs proper training as it seemed most did not enjoy their job. Constantly speaking bad about guests under their breath. Although the beach and the property were outstanding, we will not be coming back.

I highly recommend the unique experience, which includes a butler service during you stay. Our butler, Oliver, went above and beyond. He helped me navigate food allergy issues, made our dining and spa reservations, and even went to the local store to get me a brush, that I failed to pack.

We came back last week from our week of vacation at the Lopesan. I read reviews before going anywhere so it is important that I give a good review for others. Check in for UNIQUE was HORRIBLE. We stood in line at one area and then was told we had to check in at another area for VIP. We walked into that area just to be bypassed by many associates with no clue what was going on. There was no order and so finally we were told to sit down and wait. After what seemed like forever, we finally got to our room. Our “Butler” took us to our room and was initially very helpful. The room was clean and beautiful with a wonderful view which made the wait not quite as bad. The refrigerator in our room was not cold at all. The remote for the Tv did not work. Our water in the shower was cold for an entire day and our “Butler” sent us a video showing us how to use the handle in the water. Basically, telling us we didn’t know how to turn on the shower. I don’t care if the water was hot when he went there, it was COLD for an entire day. The beach is beautiful. The service was good for the most part everywhere for went. Here comes the worst part. My husband got food poisoning. He was sick for about 24 hrs. He was in agony. I told the “Butler” and he said glad he is feeling better but NO apology given to us at all. He thinks it was a burger at lunch that was cold. But who knows, there was some guy in a white coat taking samples of something at a bar like he was testing it. Do not go here.

This property was very nice, but it was lacking in some main areas. The service was horrible, and the food was lacking. We stayed on the Unique side, and you would have thought the service would have been better, but it was not. We almost missed our transportation back to the airport due to no one picking our bags up from our room.

Unique “butler”/concierge was subpar. Poor attitude, didn’t smile, and the day before we left he was more interested in when we were leaving (low maintenance party of 2). The food in Unique restaurant had fantastic food options and service there was excellent.

Only the front desk speaks English. My phone was broken for 2 days before it was fixed. NO manager was available for 2 days. Guest Services refuses to help with dinner reservations because our flight landed (check-in) was after 4pm.

We had a fabulous time at Lopesan Bavaro, other than the service. The service was fairly unfriendly most of the time, like we were an inconvenience. I know it must be hard at times to serve entitled people, which I did see at times, but the staff rarely even smiled at us when we were kind or smiling at them. The facilities were amazing, the food was FAR better than our other resort earlier in the week and it was super clean.

Wonderful vacation for a family of 7! From the moment we got to Lopesan, we were greeted by the nicest staff. Every employee went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. We upgraded to the unique package and our butler, Isaury de los santos was the best. Very friendly, very attentive and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. He even coordinated for my husband and I to renew our vows last minute. The rooms and food were amazing. The beach was spectacular. The security team, specifically Gilberto, were amazing and the nicest people. The bar tenders at the unique bar were great and made all of our drinks perfectly. 10/10 vacation and will be coming back.

El hotel es espectacular, tiene de todo. La comida es variada, es de buena calidad. Hay varios restaurantes, algunos para reservar, otros con buffet. El buffet es para todo tipo de personas. La piscina es muy agradable, hay espacio para todo. La playa es muy buena, casi no se puede bañar. Pero la vista es hermosa, el hotel es impresionante. We booked the Unique experience and it was excellent. The staff are very attentive, food is very fresh and the beach is well maintained. Would highly recommend this upgrade. Although it is a large resort, it is well laid out and doesn't feel overwhelmingly busy. Definitely book the steakhouse and hibachi grill. Through Unique, you have access to a buffet for breakfast and lunch right off the beach with views of the ocean. They also offered lobster (included) 3/7 nights that we were here.

This place was very big, could be a good or bad thing. I enjoyed it because of the many dining options, also being able to enjoy a walk around the resort and see different things going on or different activities. Right on the ocean with a clear beach it is a perfect place to relax with drinks close by as well as the buffet for Unique club members

Very modern and classy upscale property. Food options and amenities including pools are very good. Service is sometimes lacking and disorganized. Beach area could be better. But overall a very good resort hotel for Punta Cana. Would definitely return.

Overall we were pleased with some aspects, not so much with others. The pros: Swim up suite is very nice and comfortable. The service in general is very good, with most staff being attentive and friendly. The dining restaurants offered good food and great service. The coffee shop is very nice and the gym is massive with top notch equipment. The cons: Buffets were underwhelming. There was a wide variety of rather poor quality food. This applied to both breakfast and lunch. The beach is a sore spot. Lots (and I mean LOTS) of party boats are permanently mooring on the beach. The view is fully obstructed and the water is not as clean as it can be. The sand had not been cleaned from the algae washing ashore, and even the lounging areas were not properly cleaned. The main pool is huge, but is missing a swim up bar. Overall, if you want to be away from the floks of boozy tourists, and receive good service, that’s the place to go. Just curb your “5 star” expectations around the food & beach.

This place was beyond perfecttt. I can’t even describe in words how I feel about it properly. It’s so beautiful. Every resort is different and everyone has their own opinion and this is mine. I LOVE everything about this place, even the fact that you have to walk a lot.. and I mean a lot lol. It’s a huge property and the stores/club/pharmacy/some bars/ big kids water park are like a 5-10 minute walk from your room, my room was at the end by the beach area so I had to walk a ton. But it was so worth it.i honestly can’t say anything bad about this place.. other than the walking thing lol just be prepared to walk If you want to explore the entire resort. I was there for 7 days so I was able to check everything out and I already miss the place, I wanna go back again. i wish I can write more but all I know is that I’m definitely coming back very very soon.

Terrific property for all kinds of vacations. Many upscale restaurants. Buffet restaurants were very noisy as it was geared for families. Noise on the beach from the dozens of boats trying to advertise their services really had a negative effect with excessively obnoxious noise,and a detriment to the overall beach experience. Actual beach was very well maintained as was the overall property. Service personnel were very good. Food was better than most all inclusives.

The overall stay was barely okay. Service throughout the hotel was poor, with the exception of the Unique area, which was excellent. Restaurants were disappointing both in food and service, five of our party of ten even got food poisoning. Our butler added no value; our coffee maker was broken the entire stay despite multiple requests. Facilities are nice, but service is far below average. The worst incident was staff miscommunication: while our butler approved adult-only guests to join us at the Unique pool, another employee, Andres, rudely kicked them out. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this resort.

SALMONELLA HOSPITALIZES TWO TODDLERS I cannot urge you enough for the safety of your children to NEVER come to this resort. Both my child, and the other child we traveled with were hospitalized in the Dominican Republic (during this hospitalization we encountered other guests there with their children), and again hospitalized upon arrival home. My child is currently admitted to the hospital with severe salmonella receiving an antibiotic via IV. Her fever while at the resort was almost 104. It is confirmed by multiple physicians this outbreak was caused by the food prepared or dirty pool water by the Lopesan. I understand it’s easy to look past a bad review when you feel like you have found the resort of your choice, but for the safety of your children I urge you to choose another resort. We reported this to the Lopesan and they didn’t even respond or care. To think if I only chose a different resort I wouldn’t be sitting in a hospital bed with my child as I write this review… I would do anything to go back. I will be posting reviews on all platforms in hopes it saves even one child from this terrible illness.

Property itself beautiful. Beautiful beach (only small negative were the boats). Main pool beautiful but no swim up bar and water a little a cold for my liking. Also unique and adults only pool we’re too small really not worth it. Food was generally really good. Steakhouse and the unique grill by the beach was amazing. What I didn’t like was the breakfast buffet and American valley food. Drinks were generally pretty good. Service was hit or miss. Butler was amazing (did pretty much whatever we asked including booking our ride to the airport, suprise champagne for my birthday, and a bottle of red and white on our request. We stayed at this hotel for a friend\'s wedding and left appalled by the nightmare we experienced and completely heart broken for the newlyweds. Within 48 hours of arrival, half of the guests in our group fell ill with salmonella (confirmed once they returned home), including the groom who spent several days on an IV fluids and meds in his room. He eventually gathered the energy to walk down the aisle and say "I do" only to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance before the reception began. The guests that were poisoned by the resort\'s food were charged a gross amount of money for medical care by the onsite "clinic". All of this is not to mention the hazardous conditions that developed throughout the property after a regular summer rain storm. There were roof and window leaks throughout the common areas and guest rooms, waterfalls in the elevators, and ankle deep flooding from the lobby to the pool areas. The pools turned into muddy swamps. The flooded lobby which was full of guests waiting to be moved to dry rooms, reeked of sewage. To top it off, the service and attention at the bars and restaurants left plenty to be desired. Bride & groom left devastated and with no apologies or remediation offered by Lopesan. Avoid this place like the plague!

The property upon walking in is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately on the third day my husband got food poisoning. It was from a salad at the Mediterranean restaurant. Overall the place was nice but most of the staff do not speak English which is fine but can be a little frustrating at times. The food is not great at most of the restaurants. The only really good place is the goldfish bar at pool for lunch which we didn’t discover till last day. Unique is not worth it. Nothing special and special food actually worse than rest of food. Overall ok but not 5 star. We took teenagers with us and stayed in one room the 4 of us. Would have been fine but be aware door to bathroom is basically open so not real privacy. If you get a great deal for a quick getaway it’s ok but I wouldn’t pay for a 5 star resort and def stay away from raw foods. Food poisoning not fun.

If you get a great deal for a quick getaway it’s ok but I wouldn’t pay for a 5 star resort and def stay away from raw foods. Food poisoning not fun.

No ACs on the stores, not any on the amenities outside the main hotel In fact the only place I had, at elast decent ACs, was on the room. The staf needs trainign, on almost everything: They simply doesn;t know that when they ae sharing the space, like an aisle, with the guests they are suposed to give the guest some room, instead if they are pushing a cart (an one: it can be the luggage cart, the room keepers) you better move because they wont stop. Also the upper management needs to look arount, see the options, amenities and they will find the many non logical things they have.. like a Gym were no kids areallowed (expected) and opening at 7am, but the kids paklce opens at 11am. pools that opens at 10am and closes at 6pm.... etc

It was a nice and beautiful experience. We had the Unique pass and we were treated super great! And loved all the benefits it had. Restaurants were amazing!

This resort was everything we wanted it to be. The food overall was good, but we did not enjoy the steak in the steak house. We had the Unique upgrade so we got to do everything we wanted to do, but, honestly it wasn’t THAT busy to where I’m positive that we actually needed it. It was nice to have a butler help with things and Jose Luis was great. I would definitely go again. We felt safe and had a great time.
