Vi blev meget positiv overrasket, vl blev opgraderet til et andet værelse, grundet ombygning. Vi fik et værelse på 70 til 80 m2, daglig stue, stort soveværelse, lækkert stort badeværelse og lille have med udebruser. Virkeligt lækkert indrettet. Super service fra personalet, som var opmærksom uden at være påtrængende. Dejlig og flot indrettet restaurant. Ala Carte morgenmad, med alt hvad du kan ønske dig. To dejlige svimmingpools. Tæt på den gamle kejser by. Perfekt ophold, luksus stede til forkælelse og ro.
Vi blev meget positiv overrasket, vl blev opgraderet til et andet værelse, grundet ombygning. Vi fik et værelse på 70 til 80 m2, daglig stue, stort soveværelse, lækkert stort badeværelse og lille have med udebruser. Virkeligt lækkert indrettet. Super service fra personalet, som var opmærksom uden at være påtrængende. Dejlig og flot indrettet restaurant. Ala Carte morgenmad, med alt hvad du kan ønske dig. To dejlige svimmingpools. Ancient Hue Garden Houses are located in a quiet residential area. The rooms are nicely decorated in separate houses connected by beautiful garden paths. The hotel has two swimming pools, two restaurants and offers complimentary breakfast and tea in the afternoon. It truly feels like a garden oasis. Staff are friendly and the food is delicious.

Don’t hesitate to book this hotel — it exceeded our expectations in every way, especially for the price. We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter, and while we spent our days exploring Hue, returning to the hotel felt like coming back to paradise. We enjoyed several meals on-site, and the service from the staff was consistently warm and welcoming. We stayed for three nights and were genuinely sad to leave. The small details made a big difference — lush gardens, hand-painted walls in our room and ensuite, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. Everything felt carefully curated, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. This hotel is a true gem, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

One of the best hotel experiences in our lives, and we have travelled extensively. When something little failed they not only corrected it, but additionally went overboard, far beyond any expectations, to compensate… we were pampered, amazed, protected, felt special and at home. The property is magnificent, every nook and corner is beautiful and built with care. The food is excellent. The spa top class. The room, amazing, with any and every comfort imaginable… and sooo beautiful. And the service, the friendliness of the staff, their willingness to help and their kindness, far exceed all expectations.

Everything about our stay at Ancient Hue Guesthouses — our room, the restaurants, the spa, the facilities, the staff and service — were exceptional and beyond expectations. I truly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and will be staying here on all of my future visits to Hue; I may even come to Hue just to stay here again. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who made our stay so amazing.

We’ve stayed at fine hotels around the world, but this may have been the most beautiful, peaceful one ever. A series of individual bungalows, French or Asian decor all in a walled garden with two pools. Every detail amazing from the fresh flowers and fruit in your room to the lighting on the garden pathways. Two world class restaurants, one French, one Vietnamese and an incredibly kind and helpful staff. Plus a fantastic free breakfast. Could not recommend it more highly to anyone visiting Hue.

Staff are great, room was massive and comfy, spa and pool are excellent, all meals were wonderful (pan-breakfast with bahn mi recommended, and Imperial set menu with incredible vegetable carvings), just don’t be clumsy and break anything… Hotels.com indicated a free mini bar but that didn’t turn out to be the case. Still a great place to stay and would recommend at least 3 nights’ stay.

Exquisite property with beautiful gardens and friendly staff, located just outside the centre of Hue and close to the Imperial Citadel. We stayed in one of the French villas, which was immaculately presented and had a lovely balcony overlooking one of the pools. Fantastic breakfast and delicious, authentic cuisine.

房间很棒，床很舒适，早餐很好。唯一需要顾虑的是：热水不足，在完全只放热水的状态下，浴缸的水只能达到温水 lukewarm 的程度，而且三天都是如此；其中一晚，我们一个人泡澡的同时，另一人淋浴，结果淋浴间完全没有热水，这样的情况发生在 Ancient Hue 这样的酒店，令人觉得不可思议。

Beautiful villa type environment, immaculately design, very detailed in their decor to evoke the era of the aristocratic Nguyen dynasty. Very cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. Authentic and delicious fine dining Hue cuisine at their restaurant. Rooms are very well kept and clean, housekeeping team are top notch.Centrally located to all the sites, highly recommended for a Royal experience in this cultural and historic city, will be back!

Les espaces verts de l’hôtel sont très beaux et l’hôtel a réellement un cachet avec ses boiseries. Le personnel de l’hôtel et du restaurant a été très prévenant . La chambre est nettoyée matin et soir ce qui est appréciable. L’hôtel est à l’écart du l’agitation de la ville, ce qui en fait un endroit reposant. La réception est venue spontanément nous informer que la ville de Hoi An, notre prochaine destination était inondée, ce qui nous a permis de changer nos plans au dernier moment. Ils nous ont aussi aidé à contacter notre prochain hôtel à Da Nang. Bref, rien à reprocher.

Wunderschön gepflegte Anlage mitten im Grünen. Besonders die Zimmer im traditionellen Stil und der überragende Service sind super. Alle sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, Frühstück hervorragend a la Card und mal kein Standard-Buffet. Lage etwas weiter entfernt vom Zentrum aber mit Taxi/Grab alles kein Problem.

I absolutely loved staying at Ancient Hue Garden Houses, in the impeccable Marguerite Duras villa. The attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings, the view onto the pool and the garden, the delicious Vietnamese food in the restaurant, the location (a bit out of the center of town but not too far) - everything came together to make me so glad that I booked my stay here in Hue, a gem of a city. A very special experience that I highly recommend.

Virkeligt luksuriøst. Boede i nr 2 - selve huset/værelset er som et eventyr , fyldt med antikviteter, træudskæringer mm. Fantastisk arkitektur. Service, mad, faciliteter- alt upåklageligt perfekt.

It is very cosy, same like home, amd exceptionally clean but only is a little far if we want to go aound by walking, however, the place is truely nice, will visit again in future. The staffs hospitality is excellent.

Exquisite property with beautiful gardens and friendly staff, located just outside the centre of Hue and close to the Imperial Citadel. We stayed in one of the French villas, which was immaculately presented and had a lovely balcony overlooking one of the pools. Fantastic breakfast and delicious, authentic cuisine.

Les espaces verts de l’hôtel sont très beaux et l’hôtel a réellement un cachet avec ses boiseries. Le personnel de l’hôtel et du restaurant a été très prévenant . La chambre est nettoyée matin et soir ce qui est appréciable. L’hôtel est à l’écart du l’agitation de la ville, ce qui en fait un endroit reposant. La réception est venue spontanément nous informer que la ville de Hoi An, notre prochaine destination était inondée, ce qui nous a permis de changer nos plans au dernier moment. Ils nous ont aussi aidé à contacter notre prochain hôtel à Da Nang. Bref, rien à reprocher.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking architecture that perfectly combines traditional elegance with a sense of refined luxury. Vi blev meget positiv overrasket, vl blev opgraderet til et andet værelse, grundet ombygning. Vi fik et værelse på 70 til 80 m2, daglig stue, stort soveværelse, lækkert stort badeværelse og lille have med udebruser. Virkeligt lækkert indrettet. Super service fra personalet, som var opmærksom uden at være påtrængende. Dejlig og flot indrettet restaurant. Ala Carte morgenmad, med alt hvad du kan ønske dig. To dejlige svimmingpools. Tæt på den gamle kejser by. Perfekt ophold, luksus stede til forkælelse og ro.

Wunderschön gepflegte Anlage mitten im Grünen. Besonders die Zimmer im traditionellen Stil und der überragende Service sind super. Alle sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, Frühstück hervorragend a la Card und mal kein Standard-Buffet. Lage etwas weiter entfernt vom Zentrum aber mit Taxi/Grab alles kein Problem.

古い貴族のお屋敷を改修し、ホスピタリティに溢れた素晴らしいホテルでした。サービスで30分のスパが受けられました。お部屋はビラスタイルで部屋数も全部で１０室くらいでしょうか。落ち着いた大人のためのホテルで、プールなども小さいのでお子様には不向きでしょう。 ホテルそのものはとても素晴らしいものの、ホテル前の川の護岸工事中で、周りをお散歩するにはお店などもなく、ちょっと寂しい地域になります。 王宮までは1キロほど、ということで歩くにはちょっと遠いです。ホテルだけを楽しむステイになります。 10分ほど歩くと大きな川沿いにローカルなレストラン、食堂があります。王宮や帝廟への観光にはホテルで車を呼んでくれ、問題ありません。

We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter, and while we spent our days exploring Hue, returning to the hotel felt like coming back to paradise. We’ve stayed at fine hotels around the world, but this may have been the most beautiful, peaceful one ever. A series of individual bungalows, French or Asian decor all in a walled garden with two pools. Every detail amazing from the fresh flowers and fruit in your room to the lighting on the garden pathways. Two world class restaurants, one French, one Vietnamese and an incredibly kind and helpful staff. Plus a fantastic free breakfast. Could not recommend it more highly to anyone visiting Hue.

very nice hotel, nice old design, nice spa, very good restaurant. all the staff is very helpfull, smile and make the best of your stay, may be the best hotel I had in the 3 weeks I spent in Vietnam

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pool was great to use after a day visiting the citadel. We tried both the French and Vietnamese restaurants which were outstanding, try the ancient Hue rose cocktail it was delicious. We stayed at the Albert Sallet Villa which was amazing ❤️.
