Beautiful hotel. But very busy. Not enough sun beds Disnt think the food was great

Sehr schönes Hotel mit beeindruckender Pool Landschaft, tollem Essen und Bars. Punktabzug: Unter einer der vielen Brücken über die Pools hingen bei unserem Besuch Stromkabel in Schlaufen herab. Offensichtlich war dieses Kabel recht abenteuerlich angebracht. die 3 Adern des Kabels waren an einer Stelle sogar ohne äußere Isolation zu sehen und mit anderen Drähten verbunden und das Ganze ca. 20-40cm über der Wasseroberfläche. Ich möchte mir gar nicht vorstellen, was da passieren könnte, wenn da beim Baden ein Kind an dem Kabel zieht. Mit 220V macht man keine halben Sachen! Eine Kabelschiene hätte hier absolut Sinn gemacht! Die restlichen Mängel sind eher zu verzeihen. Die Teller und das Besteck waren manchmal nicht so ganz sauber. Streifenfreier Glanz auf den Tellern war eher selten und einmal klebten noch Rückstände an einer Gabel. Die vielen kleinen blauen Mosaik Fließen in den Pools bröckeln an manchen Stellen ab, so dass es doch einige scharfe Bruchkanten in den Pools gibt. Meine Tochter hat sich an einer solchen Stelle am Zeh einen Schnitt zugezogen. Der beworbene Service eines Arztes ist keine Leistung des Hotels. Als ich nach einem kleinen Sprüher Desinfektionsmittel für den kleinen Schnitt am Zeh meiner Tochter gefragt habe, durfte ich mir erst mal einen Vortrag anhören, dass der Arzt hier im Hotel Miete zahlen muss und nur auf private Rechnung arbeitet, die ich dann bei meiner Versicherung einreichen kann. Und das auf der Insel des Hippokrates. Erst Geld dann Arzt!

The Mitsis resort looks the part and has a few strong positives. The food selection is excellent, the restaurants are well-run, and the service from the restaurant staff is genuinely great. But there are too many frustrating issues that take away from the experience: • Evening bar service is awful – you can be waiting 30 to 40 minutes just for a drink. This doesn’t feel like a one-off; it seems designed that way due to poor staffing levels. • It’s difficult to get even water – in a 5-star resort, especially during high temperatures, bottled water should be available without hassle. It’s a basic expectation that just wasn’t met. • Alcohol is very low quality – only cheap local brands were offered. For a so-called premium resort, this really isn’t good enough. A decent selection should be available, even if some drinks are at a supplement. • Pool area needs urgent maintenance – the limestone around the pool edge is chipped and sharp. It’s a hazard that could easily be fixed but has clearly been ignored. • Obvious cost-cutting in the wrong places – reception, check-in, and bar staff are all stretched thin. It gives the impression that cutting corners has become the norm. Mitsis has the potential to be a great resort, but right now it falls short in too many important areas. Until these issues are properly addressed, I wouldn’t return

Das Hotelanlage ist eigentlich schön, aber sie ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt dringend eine Renovation. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind freundlich jedoch etwas inkompetent. Die Liegensitiuation ist die reinste Katastrophe, wenn man einen Platz am Pool möchte bleibt einem keine Wahl als um 7 Uhr morgens Liegen zu reservieren so tun es nämlich alle Gäste. Das Hotel unternimmt nichts gegen stundenlang leere Liegen besetzt mit Handtüchern. Die à la carte restaurants sind ganz ok und bieten Abwechslung, wenn man allerdings nicht vor Reiseantritt reserviert, kriegt man keinen Platz mehr. Das Meer ist sehr sauber und super klar zum schwimmen, allerdings ist der Strand Kiesstrand. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt für ein paar Tage ok, nochmal und länger würden wir aber nicht kommen. Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden.

This was an amazing stay! Food was good in all of the restaurants but i especially loved the grab and go. Specifically, the patisserie and the gyros bar were amazing! The only downside was the subbed situation as all sunbeds were gone by 7am but luckily we hade a ground floor garden view bungalow which provides sunbeds outside your room. But overall it was ana amazing for holiday!

Zu wenig personal. A la carte war sehr gut, Buffet war nicht gut, zu wenig auswahl, Lift war immer kaputt und mit Kinderwagen war extrem schwierig weil ist alles mit Treppe.

The Facilities are superb, the weather was brilliant, the staff are second to none very attentive and helpful. The property and gardens are looked after very well. Our housekeeper was so good, we will be going back next year.

Das Hauptrestaurant ist ständig überlastet und hat eher ein durchschnittliches Speiseangebot. Die Reservierung in den a la Carte Restaurant gestalte sich schwierig. Für den Kieselstrand braucht man unbedingt Badeschuhe.

This property was fantastic, the staff are awesome super friendly and nice. They are so helpful and always great you with a smile. The entire hotel was super clean and you can tell the staff is putting a lot of effort into maintaining that! Food is ok nothing too crazy we were looking for more of authentic Greek food which we didn’t really find in the hotel so we opted to have our lunches in the town since we were there almost everyday.

We hebben bij 5 sterren hotel (MITSIS Selection) toch een andere beleving. Alles was op zich goed, maar niet uitstekend. Het hotel heeft een mooi strand met genoeg ligbedden en parasols en een strandbar. Ondanks laat in het seizoen konden we nog zwemmen. De kamer was goed, alleen in de badkamer liepen veel kleine mieren. Boven ons was een appartement met een jacuzzi. Die ging ‘s nachts aan om te reinigen. Gaf geluidsoverlast, zorg dus dat je geen appartement onder een appartement met jacuzzi krijgt.

Das Zimmer war tadellos, der Service absolut freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Lage des gesamten Resorts ist außergewöhnlich schön. Zu bemängeln ist aus unserer Sicht der Zustand der Polster auf den Strandliegen - mag aber auch der letzten Saisonwoche geschuldet sein. Das merkte man auch am Buffet. Personen die Probleme mit der Mobilität haben, sollten sich ein anderes Hotel suchen. Viele Treppen mit Natursteinplatten könnten Probleme bereiten.

We enjoyed a lovely 10 day holiday at Mitsis Blue Domes. The food was great at all the restaurants including the buffet. Our fave was the Tex Mex. Drinks at the bars were mostly good, although the poolside glasses, were not always cleaned thoroughly.

( ) Sehr schöne Anlage, geräumige Zimmer. (-) Verpflegung und Service sehr unambitioniert. Bis auf sehr wenige Ausnahmen ist das Personal desinteressiert und sehr schlecht geschult mit miserablen Sprachkenntnissen (Englisch). Die Qualität des Büffets hat allenfalls Kantinenniveau. A la Carte Restaurants sehr anspruchslos - in jeder Taverne isst man besser und wird aufmerksamer und freundlicher bedient. Leuchtende Ausnahmen: Brunch und South American! Snackangebot sehr eingeschränkt, es gibt immer nur einen Bruchteil der Speisen auf der Karte. Keine Ausnahme, sondern während der gesamten 14 Tage. Leider auch viel Einweggeschirr. Zimmerservice unfreundlich und sehr aufdringlich, „Do Not Disturb“ mehrfach ignoriert. Offenbar herrscht großer Erledigungsdruck beim Personal. Wegen energischem Möbelrücken bei der Reinigung, das sich im gesamten Gebäude überträgt, den ganzen Tag über Höllenlärm im Zimmer. Minibar wurde trotz mehrfacher Reklamation tagelang nicht aufgefüllt. Strandliegen verdreckt, Polster wurden nie gereinigt. Zum Glück gab es laufend frische Strandtücher.

This is a really nice family friendly hotel. The hotel is contemporary, well designed and visually impressive - in places. The food is good, the main eating area is typical for all inclusive although we’ve noticed over the last few years that the range has reduced and at peak times it feels very impersonal. The room was comfortable with a well stocked fridge mini bar. The bathroom was dated but ok. We had a seaview room which although a little out of the way was quiet and in a nice position. Some of the staff were lovely, whereas with others you definitely felt like an inconvenience! There’s loads of pools at this hotel and although we prefer the be beach it looked like there were plenty of beds - although early towel rules definitely apply for the best spots!! We’ve stayed at several mitsis hotels and this one was good but we prefer others. Overall, would recommend, but consider the 5 star rating quite broadly!!

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Poolanlage und eine liegt direkt am Strand. Für Essen und Trinken ist immer gesorgt. Es gibt mehrere bars, Imbisse und Restaurants. Die Lage am Hang bietet einen tollen Ausblick aufs mehr. Wir hatten ein Parterre Zimmer. Leider mussten wir aufpassen das keine Kakerlaken ins Zimmer kommen. Ebenso wurde das Zimmer nur mittelmäßig gereinigt. Ein weiterer Wermutstropfen war die Lüftungsanlage. Wir hatten nachts einen sehr lauten, störenden Ton von der Anlage des Nachbarn über uns. Insgesamt aber trotzdem ein tolles Hotel .

Main restaurant offers same choices every night! Quality of food not great. Too many steps for a family with small children Room standard not great.

Uns hatte es grundsätzlich im Mitsis Domes gefallen. Es gibt sicher immer paar Sachen, die man besser machen könnte. Was uns fehlte war ein Teenie Club für unser Tochter. Die Infos über die Aktivitäten kann man nur über das Scannen eines QR Code erfahren. Das Essen war "Okay"aber nicht mehr. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Gartenzimmer, dass uns sehr gefallen hatte. Die Minibar wurde immer mit Süssgetränke und Bier aufgefüllt. Am Strand hatte es immer genügend Liegen was mich sehr freute, da ich nicht gerne in meinem Urlaub früh aufstehen möchte. Am Pool sieht es jedoch anders aus. Das Hotel hatte unsere Erwartungen erfüllt.

No where close to a 5 star resort. Food available very poor. Portion control mean. Often in the morning my coffee was in a cup no saucer. At dinner had to beg for second glass of wine. Not enough variety or places to have lunch. We will not go back. Room very good. Has a bungalow and shared pool. That’s good but service, choice and standards woefully short - 3 or 4 star at best

Es war hervorragend, nur die Zimmer müssten mal langsam uptdate gebracht werden. Sonst sehr zufrieden mit mitsis.

Ich musste in dieser Zeit auf eine glutenfreie Ernährung achten und hatte etwas Sorge, dass ich dann auf Vieles verzichten muss. Doch jeden Tag kam der Chefkoch persönlich, berat mich und konnte mir jedes Gericht auch in glutenfrei bringen. Ich bin begeistert, wie zuvorkommend das Hotel ist und auf solche Dinge so sehr eingeht. Allgemein haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind sehr froh, dieses Hotel gewählt zu haben! Auch der Strandabschnitt ist sehr schön!

Das Zimmer und die Anlage allgemein waren sehr gut. Täglich aufgefüllte Minibar, tolle Snackbars. Der Service in den Restaurants allerdings war kaum vorhanden. Beim Frühstück wartet man 20-30 Minuten auf einen Cappuccino und wird vom Personal herablassend behandelt - man fühlt sich wie ein Bittsteller und nicht wie ein Gast im 5Sterne Hotel. Oft vergisst das Personal auch die Bestellung und kommt nach 20 min erneut vorbei und fragt alles ab - kein Problem, das kann mal vorkommen, allerdings nicht jeden Tag und auch nicht auf diese Art und Weise. Mit einem Lächeln und einer kurzen Entschuldigung wäre das eher hinnehmbar gewesen. Eventuell für Familien mit kleinen Kindern wichtig: der Strand ist steinig und fällt recht schnell tief ab. Im Meer stehen können Kinder dort eher nicht. Toll war der Service im Spa - kann Maniküre und Pediküre nur empfehlen. Wissenswertes im Fall von Waldbränden: Bis auf Familien mit Kindern wurde niemand evakuiert und auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde vermittelt, dass es sehr sicher sei in der Hotelanlage. Aus welchem Grund dann sämtliche Gäste mit Kleinkindern evakuiert wurden, wurde nicht mitgeteilt.

great place but waiting along time for drinks.

Service was very friendly and also the food was great. Only anoying was the reservation of the chairs with towels from the other guests. However enough chairs at the beach, The hotel was very well maintained. Water sport center at the beach was really unfriendly, so we didn't shop there.

Wir waren vor 5 Jahren schon einmal dort und waren nicht zurückgekommen, wenn es uns damals nicht so gut gefallen hätte. Insgesamt gab es beim Personal sehr große Schwankungen, von unfassbar aufmerksam und freundlich bis "die wollen uns mit Macht vergraulen" war alles dabei. Einige der Restaurants wurden nun als a-la-carte umqualifiziert und standen daher nicht mehr für den spontanen Besuch zur Verfügung, das war schon eine erhebliche Verschlechterung. Wir werden für das Geld dieses Hotel sicher nicht mehr aufsuchen.

The standard restaurant was very poor quality food. They made it very hard to book into the restaurants (hotel.com did not provide the correct reservation ID to prebook). Bar service was quite slow. Staff were pleasant and the resort is well maintained Overall more of a 4 star stay. Did not have the refined touches of a 5 star hotel

Großes familienfreundliches AI-Hotel mit sehr gutem Niveau. Auto erforderlich, wenn man auch außerhalb der Anlage etwas sehen will. Parken gebührenfrei.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, leider etwas abseits gelegen. Der Spielplatz ist eher klein und für unseren Sohn (5 Jahre) auch nicht sehr spannend gewesen. Außerdem schließt der komplette Kinderbereich bereits um 17 Uhr. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, aber für einen entspannten Aufenthalt mit Kindern gibt es sicher geeignetere Unterkünfte.

Location, beach, sea and the view is amazing. Food and services needs improvement.

Everything was outstanding really. Not much to complain about. The food was excellent. It’s worth booking the restaurants ahead of time as they’re all so good. Just a note - it’s a pebble beach, not a sand beach so if that’s important, then worth bearing in mind

We had 5 nights at this property and could not really fault anything major. The property is massive and would be quite hard to get around if on crutches or wheelchair etc… Room was spotless, staff were lovely and the variety of restaurants for the All-Inclusive was great. They have 2 bus services running from the property going into Kos old town and the port about 5 kms away.

An excellent holiday. Great range of superb food choices in the many restaurants. The pool areas and beach meant you always had a different view and you could get drinks and snacks from the many bars and kiosks around the resort. The staff were unfailingly polite and hardworking and made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

Ich finde es schade, dass man nicht alle Restaurants probieren kann. Wir wollten sofort nach Ankunft die verschiedenen Restaurants buchen und bekamen nur den Brunch und den Griechen..wie ist das möglich??
