Sleep Inn & Suites Grovetown - Augusta West

This was our second stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The parking lot could use some cleaning. But overall worth the cost.

Eveeyone super nice. Room was dirty and everything kind of moldy. Continental breakfast was alot but cold sausage and eggs. Pool very small.

The hotel pool was not operational for guest and if the property manager was waiting for a pool inspection then they should have listed that on the website. I changed hotels because they had a outdoor pool.

Hotel is outdated. Didn’t have the amenities that were advertised - pool was closed, they ran out of breakfast for Saturday. There was no phone in my room to call front desk. Air went out during the night.

Parking a little limited

Easy parking. Great room, very quiet, so I slept well. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Hotel also has other restaurant option near by if needed. Easy access to the Interstate.

Where do I start speaking about this sleeping in! My daughter's track team and I purchased rooms for our track meet. Looking at the lobby it seemed pretty clean. It wasn't that bad but for the money that I paid it could have been WAAAY better!!! When you got upstairs that's where the problems kinda started. It definitely can be CLEANED a whole lot better. I think it may be a family-owned business but family needs to do better at the cleaning process. The floors in the hallway had not been vacuumed. The floors in my room had not been vacuumed. I had a half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. When we left to go to a meet, the "cleaning lady" came in and"cleaned" our room. I didn't ask her too. My dental partial ended up missing when I came back. I had it placed in the bathroom, on the sink. Had she not entered into our room, it would have never gotten lost. I went to the front desk to ask about it, the lady at the front desk said that she didn't speak English. She assisted me in asking her about my partial. She said she didn't see it but I know it was in there when I left. That was a $600 dental partial. Gone!! Walls needed to be wiped down badly. We booked because of the pool!! The pool was NOT AVAILABLE for use! Breakfast was terrible. I was told by one of the other parents that the owner was using his hands to take out the sausage.They also ran out of certain food. Beds were VERY comfortable. The customer service was decent. Everything could drastically be improved!

The breakfast was awesome. You can make hot waffles or egg and sausage sandwiches. The parking was ok. Parking lot kind of small but we still found a parking g space close to the front door. The room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable however, there was urine stains on the toilet which I cleaned myself. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels but apparently housekeeping did not remember to wipe down the toilet. Also the heating unit was unplugged and we had not heat. I did not complain to the front desk because we were there for just one night and I sleep better when it’s chilly.

Not great but ok for the price. No real big issues, my AC unit leaked water on the floor over night but didn’t cause me a problem. Several people just hanging around the parking area loitering. A single lady may find that uncomfortable. I asked for a copy of my receipt and did not receive that. I suspect I will have to call to get it.

While the staff was friendly and accommodating, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The first room I checked into I found a pair of reading glasses from a previous guest in the nightstand and the floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. I asked to move to a different room to which they granted. In the 2nd room I found a dirty bottle under the bed. Overall, I would not stay at this Sleep Inn again.

Room was clean. I would like more variety of food for breakfast. Overall is good.

I saw roach in the room

The shower was dirty and stained. The coverlet was dirty and looked unwashed. The sofa and ottoman had stains of questionable origin. And the floor did not seem like it had been vacuumed. Someone’s flossing pic was under the bedside table.

The pictures are not accurate. Room was dirty and the bed sheets reeked of mildew. I will never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Extremely overpriced because of Masters week. First room smelled terrible and was unclean. Chairs were breaking, smears on bed frames. Shower was disgusting. Complained and got moved to a room that was slightly better.

Cocrouches in room. Really bad animal smell. Musty sheets.

Dirty

The room was dirty and after a long 13 hr drive wasn’t up for fighting it. There were crumbs and all kinds of stuff on carpet, bathroom had hairs on the counter and toilet, blow dryer didn’t work. Toilet paper roll was over half used and looked like it had been dropped in water and dried. Hallway smelled of very stale heavy smoker smell! I checked the bed before I got in it it was the only clean thing in the room from what I could see. Left early because I didn’t want to stay any longer than I had to. I am not one to leave bad reviews but this was bad!

Carpets were filthy, all of the furniture was filthy and stained, bathrooms had not been cleaned, and toilets were not clean even in the lobby. When you first come in it is filthy… All the floors are filthy in the elevator. The elevator was filthy, fingerprints everywhere, smudges all over the windows. I will say that the beds are extremely comfortable though.

Advertised as non smoking property but room and hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. Lobby and elevator were very dirty.

Faucet in sink came off, shower rod was loose and allowed water to run in the main floor, and the there was long hairs in the tub

Old property. Sink handle kept falling off. No sound proofing. Ok place to stay for a night but definitely not linger

The staff were friendly and responsive though often overwhelmed. The air conditioning unit worked well and was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and great pressure. However, overall the room and hotel is very rundown. The furniture in our room was stained and damaged. The bathroom faucet handle came off in my hand. I was able to replace and use it. The toilet rocked back and forth. The side door (hotel entrance 1st floor) didn't lock ever during our stay. Not secure at all, anyone could enter. I can't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel until major repairs and investments are made. Again, I want to emphasize the staff were very kind and attentive.

I arrived at 2pm to check in because that’s what my email said check in time was. When I arrived the front desk agent told me check in wasn’t until 3 but he checked me in. It was a super fast process. Nothing about checkout or breakfast time was mentioned. When I got to the room it looked decent on the surface. The sheets look clean minus a few random hairs. The room smelled so bad like someone smoked and tried to cover it up. The bathtub looked gross and had a used bar of soap. The walls in the room needed scrubbed bad. There was a pillow covered in mold. How could that have been missed when the pillow case was changed. It was bad. I took a nap and woke up with a terrible headache and couldn’t breathe. I later saw that the pillow I was using has mold all over it. I was at the end of the hallway on the second floor and the door to the stairs would scrape on the floor every time someone opened it which happened more frequently than you’d think. The light fixture outside of my door was hanging down but they did fix that at some point. The remote was gross and covered in something. The vent in the bathroom was rusted really bad. Someone had a dog that kept barking through the night and you can literally hear everything that’s going on in the hallway. For the most part it was a decent experience for the price I guess.

Our room was missing the remote for the tv, when we informed the front desk, we were told there is a remote in every room. We told them ours is not here, and they said sorry, we don't have extras. The mixrowave was missing the plate so you couldn't use it. Plus we had a room with the whirlpool tub, but the button to seal it was broke, so you couldn't use that either.

AC unit from next door was so noisy we couldn’t get a good nights sleep. The room was clean. Would not stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Bed was amazing, front desk was super kind, and it was right next to the Tesla charging station. Highly recommended this hotel.

The property manager is rude. The whole family lives in the hotel and I wanted to add on a night because my son won his soccer tournament. I had to wait for 15 minutes for the cousin to leave his room because he was the only one who knew how book or add night to my reservation. They speak minimal English and the family takes over the breakfast area in the morning.

Horrible. Would not recommend. I had made a reservation 4 days in advance for 3 days. I called the morning of my arrival to let them know my flight was landing at 10pm and I would be checking in late. They said not problem. I arrived at the hotel at about 11 and they stated that they overbooked and gave my room away. Every place near was completely booked. Shady business practices all the way around. Would definitely not recommend EVER.

Management was very helpful and accommodating.

I showed up to check in for reservation this hotel had confirmed, and was told then for the first time that my room was never booked. They told me their system never booked the room, but also never notified expedia or myself They decided to tell me the moment of my check-in. I asked if there are any available. No. Asked for a refund, they told me to call expedia. They absolutely did not try to work with me to resolve the situation.

The hotel was clean and convenient but the staff is unfriendly and rude. When I first walked in the man said to give him time before he helps me. I was the only person there! Yep bad first impression

The afternoon front desk was very helpful, Housekeepers was amazing and friendly, the beds was so comfortable, it was quite, Thank you staff.

The room was fine, clean, no frills, easy check in. But the staff harassed us constantly about our pet. I marked on my check in that I had a pet but no one commented or asked other questions. Then throughout the stay I got repeated calls from the front desk demanding I disclose if I had a pet. Which I thought I already had. I was told housekeeping entered my room - even though I had a do not disturb sign on my door - and was surprised by my dog. I have no idea why someone entered my room without my permission. My dog is incredibly well behaved and does not bark. I was charged additional fees that were not disclosed upfront. This hotel was advertised on Hotels.com as being pet friendly but they clearly are not. The staff rudeness and constant harassment was not worth this stay.

Room smelled like smoke and the property manager was not friendly

I was pleasantly surprised that Peter helped get my bags to my room. The hotel is in a great location, with many restaurants and easy access to the interstate. The bed was comfortable and looked clean. I was disappointed that there were many hairs on the bathroom floor, and honesty it didn't look as though my room had been cleaned. It was a nice hotel, with a quiet, working air-conditioner, and excellent customer service upon checking in and out. I would recommend it. Perhaps, the people cleaning the rooms just need more training.

Nice location. Comfortable bed. Next door to Cracker Barrel. The only complaint is the husband and wife Team who clean rooms are terribly loud when doing so and they almost seem to be shouting at one another beginning very early in the morning. they are speaking in another language so I couldn’t tell if they argue or this is a conversation. I came out into the hall bc I thought there was a fight at 7ish on a wknd morning when I had plans to sleep in a bit longer from a late night arrival..

Great place, very attentive staff and always up to date room cleaning. Every day of my week there, I was able to enjoy a wonderful and varied breakfast from their breakfast bar, where everything was fresh and very well organized. I will definitely stay with them again when I return to the Grovetown area. Some outside areas were affected, but that is understandable for the recent passage of Hurricane Helene. Good accessibility to shops, tourist attractions and restaurants (Cracker Barrel is right next door). I am very grateful for the good experience.

Great service easy check in easy check out gave us great advice on a Mexican restaurant quick drive to the masters location perfect.

Worst breakfast Ive ever seen for 100 a night. They had bread and waffles and oramge juice. That was disappointing. The comforter had black stains on it.
