The Garrison Inn a Montana Bed & Breakfast

The best place yet! Would love to spend a week there! Delicious food, great hospitality, amazing view!

This is a bed and breakfast not an Inn! Cons: The toilet is so small in both height and diameter that an adult's buttocks does not fit. Low water pressure! The bathroom is cramped. The bathroom floors were sticky. It left a residue on the bottom of my shoes that made them sticky, all day I could hear my shoes moving through the stores. The bed is broken... The headboard fell forward at us, the mattress was tacoing. Me and my husband werein a force cuddle all night. The 2 Dogs... It was a severe con for us. They wouldn't leave us alone. One tore my dress the moment I arrived by biting it from behind repeatedly. They barked during the day and in the middle of the night. The constant scratching at the door to be let in. When we came back home the second night we found out the owners had let the dogs sleep in our bed while we were gone (dirty bedding with paw prints and hair all over it). The accessibility... You can either walk down really steep slate stairs that are about 2X the depth that you would normally step or you can walk DOWN their steep and uneven lawn to the door where you then have to go up 2 tall steps before entering the house. 9. The twists and the turns of the gravel road were very nauseating for us. And the long drive was very wearing. 10. Other guests could look right through our Windows into our room. The curtains did not close all the way & with backlighting you could see through them. 11. So hot and stuffy.

Anne Marie and Gene are amazing hosts. Their place is beautiful and they did a phenomenal job hosting and making us feel welcome. Breakfast was delightful and I’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay. The proprietors treated us like family. Literally, since that also had family visiting. The husband is a published chef. Boy was breakfast great. Cute, quaint mountain home. I can’t say enough praises.
