The beach is so nice - clean and accessible to the property. Laundry in each unit is so nice, as is the full kitchen. The pool is kept clean and neat.

Great location right on the beach - also centrally located on the island. Shopping was conveniently located within a few minute drive. Plenty of restaurants near by. Onsite activities were plentiful with snorkeling equipment and body boards available to rent on site. Would definitely return in the future

We had a clean room, current furniture and everything we needed in the kitchen in room 333. Beach was nice, not crowded at all and the waves are small - so you can swim and float if you want. Some beach equipment and beach towels were provided in our unit. Hot tub was very popular and was broke about half the time, which is a bummer. Grounds are well kept and parking is easy. A mix of couples, families with kids, retired visitors. Affordable in a good location with a good sunset. Good location to get around and see the island.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach Resort several times and always enjoy the beach front units. The beach is gorgeous and you can walk along the sand for miles. The grounds are lovely and the pool and jacuzzi are perfectly maintained. Highly recommend!

The view from our 5th room was amazing and made up for any minor nuisances. The exterior was dated and the entry door needed paint. The trash chute smelled too much and the parking spaces too skinny. The pool and beach were excellent.

This property was in a greatlocation on the famed Sugar Beach. Close to the famers market and Dina's bar and grill was convenient for a good meal which was located on the property.

The best thing about this property is it's location right on the beach. We had a ground floor room that was like 20 feet from the beach with a great view. The facility is well maintained but it is showing it's age a bit. The bar on the grounds has great sandwiches and snacks but that is the only food on site. You have to drive to eat and even in the off season there is a lot of traffic.

I recommend Sugar Beach Resort. The facility is very clean, the grounds are well maintained and the view is perfect. Right on the oceanfront with a private beach, it is a perfect place to visit.

Loved the condo. Beach just outside the sliding glass door. Very clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again. Only downfall was that there was only one roll of toilet paper in condo. When asked for a roll at front desk, I was told I would have to call the establishment I booked the room through? Expedia?? Had to run out and buy Toilet paper. Great place, just bring your own TP.

The condo was absolutely disgusting. Black mold. Dirty bedding. Bathroom was moldy and super dirty. Been staying at Sugar Beach for years. This was the first time I actually cried after I opened the door. We never received any help from Maui Condo and Homes LLC.

There was blood on the wall in the bathroom as well as pee and mold was dislodging from the tiles on the floor as we were showering, meanimg that the shower floor has probably NEVER been cleaned. Massive roaches also. Other than that it was a nice stay but for paying thousands of dollars i wouldnt expect mold to be taking a shower with me

Old looking and need updating . The shag carpet is old and musty in bedrooms . Seems floors are dirty not clean. The cable service was not connecting to stations in main living. View was nice and kitchen was supplied very well ! Washer and dryer in room was great and worked efficiently. Having a Dina Diner on site was great and convenient !! But overall stay was fine and convenient to where we wanted to go.

Sadly to say I did not have that same experience I had 25 years ago. Wanting to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary in the same place we stayed for our honeymoon, did not go as planned. We got room #317. The Ocean front view was great, but the room itself was very outdated, the bed linen need replacement. The bed skirt appeared filthy. Walls, cabinets , and doors are all dirty. Carpet is stained, and the shower and shower curtain had mold. Walls, doors and cabinets have not been wiped in a very long time. I had to go get my own cleaning supplies to wipe things down. Overall I had a nice time reminiscing on our memories there, but unfortunately would not stay here again.

Wonderful little condo, epic views and great pool. We had a wonderful time. The condo itself had everything we needed, it was cozy and well supplied. My only tiny criticism is the sheets on the pullout bed were clearly dirty and the replacement sheets we used were quite stained. Other than that it was absolutely perfect and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I think our only complaint was the fact that it was not made clear that the safe in the room was for owners only. Guests were not allowed to use it. We didn't find this out until after we checked in. Other then that the room was very clean and well kept. The view was amazing.

Close to beach long stretch of sand for walking.Can watch the waves from the lanai. Have a view of the mountains too. Enjoyed watching the outrigger canoes going past us. Comfortable bed etc well stocked kitchen and new appliances. 133 Sugar beach unit exceeded our expectations. Pool hade a few exuberant children in pool and hot tub but lap swimming available early morning.

This place is a favorite for us and have stayed here several times. Great location in Kihei. The condos are in varying condition, with some being more recently updated, which is great because you can select based on your budget. But they all have been well equipped and comfortable. The staff are available and helpful and we always enjoy our stay here. Highly recommend

The unit we stayed in had a beautiful view, the unit was decorated nicely but was a bit under equipped. The instructions for the washing machine said to use the brand supplied, but none was supplied. There were no serving bowls, no cheese grater, and only 2 pool towels. Only 1 TV and many stations but no current programs. We must be spoiled at the other condos we have stayed at. Not complaining just advising to be aware.

We had a very pleasant stay. Communication with management was great. Always got a quick response. Room had a nice view for whale watching. Beach was walkable for about a mile in each direction.

Condo was dated, could of been cleaner. Needs a coat of paint or at least a good scrubbing down. Only 1 beach towel, told we could buy 1 if we needed more or call the property manager. Seems property manager knew there were 2 of us 😏 Location is fairly convenient to other activities but nothing within walking distance. The on site cafe took over 25 minutes for chips, salsa & guac to go…

We had a clean room, current furniture and everything we needed in the kitchen in room 333. Beach was nice, not crowded at all and the waves are small - so you can swim and float if you want. Some beach equipment and beach towels were provided in our unit. Hot tub was very popular and was broke about half the time, which is a bummer. Grounds are well kept and parking is easy. A mix of couples, families with kids, retired visitors. Affordable in a good location with a good sunset. Good location to get around and see the island.

We have stayed at Sugar Beach Resort several times and always enjoy the beach front units. The beach is gorgeous and you can walk along the sand for miles. The grounds are lovely and the pool and jacuzzi are perfectly maintained. Highly recommend!

This place is a favorite for us and have stayed here several times. Great location in Kihei. The condos are in varying condition, with some being more recently updated, which is great because you can select based on your budget. But they all have been well equipped and comfortable. The staff are available and helpful and we always enjoy our stay here. Highly recommend

Condo was dated, could of been cleaner. Needs a coat of paint or at least a good scrubbing down. Only 1 beach towel, told we could buy 1 if we needed more or call the property manager. Seems property manager knew there were 2 of us 😏 Location is fairly convenient to other activities but nothing within walking distance. The on site cafe took over 25 minutes for chips, salsa & guac to go…

The best thing about this property is it's location right on the beach. We had a ground floor room that was like 20 feet from the beach with a great view. The facility is well maintained but it is showing it's age a bit. The bar on the grounds has great sandwiches and snacks but that is the only food on site. You have to drive to eat and even in the off season there is a lot of traffic.

Our condo unit at Sugar Beach Resort was perfect for my wife and me. We walked the beach almost every day and enjoyed colorful sunsets from our lanai. We also love the location as it is centrally located on Maui and is away from the hubbub of more heavily trafficked areas. Highlights of our visit include a spectacular sunrise over Haleakala, Warren and Annabelles magic show in Lahaina, a whale watching tour out of Maalaea, a visit to the cat sanctuary on Lanai, and a drive along the road to Hana culminating with an amazing hike on the Pipiwai Trail located 9.5 miles past Hana. The trail passes by a very cool banyan tree, impressive bamboo forest, and two waterfalls with Waimoku Falls at the end of the trail with 400 feet of falling water the ultimate payoff. We also saw several wild pigs grazing in the bamboo forest on our return to the parking lot. The Pipiwai Trail is four-miles round trip, gains nearly 600 feet, and traverses over rocks and tree roots.

Great location right on the beach - also centrally located on the island. Shopping was conveniently located within a few minute drive. Plenty of restaurants near by. Onsite activities were plentiful with snorkeling equipment and body boards available to rent on site. Would definitely return in the future

Old looking and need updating . The shag carpet is old and musty in bedrooms . Seems floors are dirty not clean. The cable service was not connecting to stations in main living. View was nice and kitchen was supplied very well ! Washer and dryer in room was great and worked efficiently. Having a Dina Diner on site was great and convenient !! But overall stay was fine and convenient to where we wanted to go.

The place was nice, we expected more stores and restaurants. I have a sensitive nose, so the towels were throwing me off because they smell like mold. I had plan to wash my clothes but it was mold all in the washing machine

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Maui! We booked Sugar Beach 333 through Expedia. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. The ocean view was absolutely stunning — waking up each morning to the sight and sound of the beach and bay from the balcony (lanai) was unforgettable. The balcony itself was one of our favorite parts of the stay, offering the perfect place to relax, enjoy coffee in the morning looking out watching the canoe clubs paddle across the bay in their Wa'a kaulua and Kaukahi. It was also special experience to watch the sunset in the evening over a glass of wine. The condo was also incredibly quiet and peaceful. We never heard noise from neighboring units, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. The remote check-in process was smooth and convenient, and it was great that our room was ready before we even arrived. We only needed to stop by the office briefly to pick up the parking pass the morning after we arrived, which was quick and easy. The beach access is right there, makes for the perfect morning or evening stroll along the beach or to get a swim in as it's calm in this upper bay area. We didn't spend any time at the pool, but it's clean along with all the available grills if you want to enjoy a BBQ overlooking the beach. Beautiful setup. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. It's centrally located and would absolutely stay here again!
