We really liked the location for a 3 night stay. You can easily walk into Bayfield on the Brownstone trail (10 minutes). The rooms were all remodeled (Scandinavian style) and were super clean. Beautiful view of Lake Superior if you have rooms facing the back. Check-in process was smooth, free parking and air conditioning worked well. Overall, enjoyed our short stay and would recommend.

I did not get the room I was expecting. We were sent to another location that was not pictured on the hotels.com site. We did not have any personal outdoor seating. There were no end tables by the bed. The shower had no soap/shampoo dispensers and no where in the shower to set the small tubes provided. We had to put them on the floor of the shower. The second day the shower was not hot, only barely warm. There was no ice machine, but a freezer with bags of ice they charged $2.00 for. Beware of the big pothole in the parking lot too! There was a skylight with no way to block the light, so it was very light in the room starting at 5:00 a.m. The nicest thing was the mural on the wall.
