Von VIP Angebot habe ich persönlich nichts mitbekommen aber das Hotel ansich ist super. Einzig, dass man 40 euro pro 3 std. Für pool, sauna etc extra zahlen muss, sollte deutlicher auf der expedia seite angezeigt werden...dies findet man nur im Kleingedruckten aber nicht bei der Beschreibung der Zimmer und des Hotels

Luxury place, great environment, huge rooms, bit noisy from their bar but changed room to quiet one. Very nice but full after 18:00 gym. Swimming pool at extra charge. I was not comfortable in the bed, the pillows were too soft, I asked for firmer ones through their app for a €5 fee, they never brought them. Vienna and Spectrum restaurants very nice, good food, slightly expensive, small portions. One of the best hotels for the price I've ever been. Probably the best in Sofia. Will go again.

I would like to express some concerns regarding my recent stay. Firstly, the accessibility of the pool was not as expected. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the heart of Sofia. It's a large hotel with multiple lift lobbies and large meeting/ event rooms everywhere. The private spa and gym accessible with a fee is world class with a range of equipment and experiences that would shame most hotel spas in northern Europe. NYE dinner at the Vienna Restaurant was very well planned..They even had a crèche for younger children with games and activities organised all evening in a room next to the restaurant. Thoughtful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Recommended, especially the spa. Only annoyance were the temperamental lifts and electronic room doors that didn't quite work. Overall, excellent stay. Recommended.

I give 3 stars only for the location the size of the room but it's nothing special it's not a real 5 star hotel the room it's dusty and the carpet it's hairy and in one of the top shelves I find a very old dry biscuit the staff on the reception they don't explain anything.in the room we have only one bottle of water one face towel and one body towel but we are 2 people

First of all, when people comment on the large rooms, they are not kidding! These are larger than your average NYC apartment! The bathroom also has a bath as well as a shower. There's a massive gym also and a spa, which we did not visit. The hotel is a walking distance from all the sights and also there's a tram stop right in front of it, and they are a great way to see Sofia beyond the city centre. Great stay, highly recommend Grand Hotel Millenium!

Probably the largest hotel room I’ve stayed in, certainly had a wow factor. The hotel itself is impressive with good dining on site. The actual hotel is a little way out of the main shopping and dining streets but still walkable. The staff were a touch clinical and aloof in their manner but I find this can be the case in high end hotels where warmth sometimes lacks

Nice looking hotel, with big rooms. I did not like the mattresses, they were hard as a rock, and woke up with back pain….. If they are going to be a top notch hotel, they need to get better softer mattresses like ritz Carlton or JW marriot. Also, wish the TVs were upgraded to be able to log into Netflix or Hulu, cause their selection of tv channels wasn’t great. One more thing… the rooms never got cold, the AC seems to be rigged to make you believe you set it colder but it’s rigged to blow out warmer air than what you set it as.

Very nice, large spacious rooms! Spa is nice! Restaurants and service amazing. Couldn’t turn the ac down enough to a comfortable temp. Would have liked about 2 or 3 degrees cooler! Can hear club music till about 4 am on Fri and Saturday. Very close to the streets of restaurants and stores! Expensive if you need something laundered.

Location was great, room massive for no reason. Cleaning of room minimal, staff could smile it doesn’t cost anything. Worst bed I have ever slept in, pillows and mattress and duvet for the bin. Not 5 star at all.

I have been staying at the grand millennium since they’re opening for the past five years. They used to have a five star and very welcoming staff. Some of the new front desk staff (especially the lady supervisor), were rude and lacked attention to details. Made me feel uncomfortable when they ignored the fact that I have Hotel.com vip status, and refused to even consider the basic amenities such as a free parking…which they always gave. More over our first night at was in a room without a working AC room 1117 (double check if you get this room) and at first they just insisted it is just a configuration (as if we are dumb not knowing how to use an ac remote) the next day they checked and they confirmed the AC didn’t work, and switched us to room 2317. NO APOLOGIES NO UPGRADE NOTHING. I didn’t ask for anything- but what makes a five star hotel is their proactiveness at making the customer feel wanted and attended to. This was supposed to be a very special trip. Spoiled by a chain of events. Other than that the rooms are big an comfortable The staff at the spa are amazing, and the ladies who did our pedicure were very professional. The restaurant breakfast staff, there used to be a lady that was really top and a phenomenal memory - unfortunately was no longer there.

Un hôtel bénéficiant d’un emplacement de choix, d’une propreté irréprochable, d’un confort certain et de chambres spacieuses ; les restaurants sont à la hauteur des attentes. Cependant, les services offerts par certains employés de la réception laissent à désirer. Il est regrettable qu’un client doive, sur recommandation du bagagiste, descendre lui-même pour résoudre un problème de cartes de chambre défectueuses… Devoir attendre quinze minutes au moment du départ pour que les bagages soient apportés n’est pas acceptable non plus. La courtoisie devrait également être davantage cultivée. Sur ces points, une attention particulière s’impose. Un client déçu… qui hésitera à revenir dans cet établissement. 😰

This is NOT a 5-star hotel! I do not recommend it at all. Let's start with front desk service. It was very impolite and arrogant on multiple occasions. Staff throughout the hotel, especially also at the breakfast area, seemed to be in a bad mood the whole time. To order room service costs and extra 10€, just to have a club sandwich brought to your room. Sauna area is not included! No! It costs and extra 40€ just to use the sauna for 15 minutes. Every service is with extra cost and with ridiculous prices and low grade service. Considering the cost of the rooms, this hotel is trying to peel as much as possible off their clients without offering ANY decent service. It is not good!!!

First of all, when people comment on the large rooms, they are not kidding! These are larger than your average NYC apartment! The bathroom also has a bath as well as a shower. There's a massive gym also and a spa, which we did not visit. The hotel is a walking distance from all the sights and also there's a tram stop right in front of it, and they are a great way to see Sofia beyond the city centre. Great stay, highly recommend Grand Hotel Millenium!

Hotel maravilhoso, moderno, limpo, com spa fantástico (dos mais completos que já fui) e várias opções de restaurantes. Quartos e banheiros enormes. Único ponto negativo: não fica bem no centro da cidade, mas dá para ir andando (20/25 minutos a pé).

Das Hotel ist nicht weit von der Fußgängerzone, dort befinden sich viele Geschäfte und Lokale. Wir hatten eine Suite im 25. Stock mit tollem Ausblick. Die Rooftop Bar ist super, dort konnten wir den Sonnenuntergang beobachten.

Room was lovely - large, very clean and with good views over the city. Bars and restaurants were a bit soulless but that may have been down to the time of year. Food that we did have in one of the restaurants wasn't great and a bit pricey compared to what is available locally.

This is a five-star hotel in every respect except for the breakfast, which didn’t quite live up to expectations. For example, there was no omelette station, no Bircher muesli, and no freshly squeezed juices. In addition, the breakfast service was below par – the staff were inattentive and somewhat unfriendly. The rest of the service throughout the hotel was excellent. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel’s restaurant is of a very high standard, and the sky bar is well worth a visit for its stunning views.

A very high class hotel. Clean and everything in place. I do wish they would ask people to smoke away fron the entrance. It's not do nice to step out into 15 people smoking. I was also slightly surprised that the breakfast didn't have more assortment of fresh bread and also no real freshly squeezed orange juice.

The staff was mostly very nice, with one exception. Our room was quite comfortable. Food was okay, but could be better. Hot foods at breakfast were often almost cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again.
