This location is 20 minutes out of West Yellowstone but it is well worth it for the money! Having a shower here is like being at a 5 star hotel the pressure was great the amenities were amazing and towels were so soft! Make sure you either eat before you get here or pick up something for dinner to have in the room!

Loved staying here - the cabins are modern and comfortable, and provide all the amenities you'd expect out of a hotel in a rustic setting. Gorgeous views and flexible checkin, and super quiet. A huge plus is the convenience store right next to the units, which also has a gas station - very convenient if you're flying and returning a car to West Yellowstone. Highly recommend.

Slightly awkward location with no real amenities around. Listing shows grill provided when actually has to be rented for $25 and so is misleading. Not great when the only means of eating hot food is by grilling (no other cooking facilities inside the cabin aside a microwave). Felt like a bit of a marketing con. Otherwise a good clean cabin but you need to be prepared for your stay.

Was ok for the price. No handrail on steps or porch. Overgrown weeds and thistles outside. Sink would not drain properly. Overall pretty good was hoping for a little nicer. Awesome view of lake and very nice staff. Shower with weak shower head on wrong side of glass door had to reach in through water to set temperature .

Friendly welcome at check-in ! New, clean cabins well stocked with all our needs. Beautiful area w/ lake & Mountain View; Store on site with food, drinks, wine and beer and other basic needs. Lots of plugs in the room and great lighting

The cabins are small but adorable and the setting is lovely. There is one problem in the summer, that could be easily solved by the owners. The cabins (at least ours) have no AC and need to be cooled by opening the one small window and opening the slider door to the porch, then using the large fan (provided) to draw in cool air. This is a totally manageable situation since the nights are cool. However, when another guest then lights a bonfire at 10 pm in the fire pit out back, the acrid smoke is then sucked into the cabin by the fan, especially if your slider door happens to point directly toward the fire pit. It seems unfair to allow one guest to unknowingly affect others this way - forcing them to breathe in smoky air all night - so I would suggest that the fire pit needs to go, for the health and enjoyment of all guests. Otherwise this was a lovely stay - coffee on the porch in the morning mountain quiet was an absolute joy.

This was our 3rd stay at Terra Nova. We’ve always enjoyed our stays and the walk out deck. We were disappointed that 15A was one of few units that didn't have a deck. The real issue was upon entering the bathroom there were toilet paper wads stuck to the walls and ceiling. Pretty gross. These are cool cabins but our experience this time just didn’t meet our expectations.

Cool concept. Small but clean and comfortable room in a pretty spot near the entrance to Yellowstone. We did damage our vehicle's bumper on the rocks surrounding the unit's parking area, as we arrived after dark and the area is not well lit at night.

Great communication by the property. Requested a lake view and they were very accommodating. Just 20 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone and there is a bar/restaurant within 5 minutes from the cabin.

The location was beautiful. The drive to and from the park was pretty quick. There was trash all over walking up to our door and the shower was a bit gross and needs to be re caulked and you could visually see dirt around the toilet. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The views outside and geography are spectacular! Check-in was a breeze - very friendly and helpful folks. The room furnishings looked better in the photos - are were of the IKEA variety, pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, our room smelled STRONGLY of lemon disinfectant - which caused allergies and itching.

The place was really nice, however the floors were fairly dirty (dustbunnies and hairs from the past guests were really common). The floors by the door are also fairly worn and cracked. However the setting was beautiful and it was very nice and quiet. FANTASTIC black out blinds as well.

The property is about 20 minutes from the park entrance. It’s a nice drive next to Earthquake lake. The units are nice with nice views. I was very unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room. There was a stain on the sheets and I found lots of hairs on the sheets. The floor looked like it had never been cleaned. Won’t be coming back!

The cabins are a good 23 minutes out of West Yellowstone so be aware that you're sacrificing some convenience. That being said, it couldn't be more quiet and scenic; the lake across the street is pristine and you're surrounded by mountains. The store where you check in closes around 7pm but they tape your registration materials to the window. The cabin is basically a mobile home with a hotel room on each side. The room isn't spacious but the 9 foot ceilings made it feel less cramped. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean. The bathrooms have a large glass standup shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers preinstalled. The shower was a bit wonky in design, where you have to be in the flow of the water when you turn it on. There's a coffee maker AND a hot water pot for tea. We didn't need anything during our two night stay but felt that the staff were available had we had a need. Great economical stay for Yellowstone.

Terra Nova was a wonderful place for us to stay. Wonderful view of the mountains and Hebgen Lake. We visited Yellowstone and could return "home" and relax.

Lovely cabin with a view of the lake. Modern design with a spotless interior. It's about a 20-min drive to the town of West Yellowstone near the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. But well worth the drive for the quiet, secluded surroundings. Would definitely stay here again.

No AC or fans in the unit that we stayed in. It was so hot that we couldn’t sleep. There were no screens in the windows, so we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs. I don’t understand why they don’t have air conditioning in all of the units or at least a fan.

Stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Yellowstone National Park. Realistically, it is a 25/30 min drive to town (West Yellowstone). There’s a section on the road where there were a group of bison so we were going below the speed limit since they wandered onto the road often. The room itself was modern and adequate but had some flaws. The shower door only opens on one side and not where the handle is so in order to turn on the water you have to get into the shower and get sprayed with cold water. Hot water ran out, even with the 3 of us spacing our showers. There is a little deck/patio area which didn’t have any chairs until the last day we were there. It would have been nice if they put the chairs out when we had arrived. During check in, it was noted that there was no housekeeping (annoying since we were staying 3 nights) but that we could text the number and let them know what we needed. I texted that number for more garbage bags and was ghosted - no response at all.

Terra Nova cabins are a great option for visiting Yellowstone. A short drive outside of West Yellowstone, the cabins have a beautiful lakefront setting. Very peaceful. Room was comfortable and i appreciated the fan. Check in was easy and the little store had a nice selection of snacks.

The owners were fantastic. The area was beautiful. The only thing I did not like was our cabin was inside the lobby. I was just not comfortable with that and there was no information on this room being inside the lobby. I thought that was a bit deceiving, as I would not have rented that one. But the owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating!!!!!

Stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Yellowstone National Park. Realistically, it is a 25/30 min drive to town (West Yellowstone). There’s a section on the road where there were a group of bison so we were going below the speed limit since they wandered onto the road often. The room itself was modern and adequate but had some flaws. The shower door only opens on one side and not where the handle is so in order to turn on the water you have to get into the shower and get sprayed with cold water. Hot water ran out, even with the 3 of us spacing our showers. There is a little deck/patio area which didn’t have any chairs until the last day we were there. It would have been nice if they put the chairs out when we had arrived. The lakeside view of the property is one of a kind. The process of checking in and checking out is very convenient. Good proximity to West Yellowstone and the park itself. Area could use signage indicating where to check in.

Terra Nova cabins are a great option for visiting Yellowstone. A short drive outside of West Yellowstone, the cabins have a beautiful lakefront setting. Very peaceful. Room was comfortable and i appreciated the fan. Check in was easy and the little store had a nice selection of snacks.

Great communication by the property. Requested a lake view and they were very accommodating. Just 20 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone and there is a bar/restaurant within 5 minutes from the cabin.

We planned a last minute weekend getaway to West Yellowstone and found Terra Nova on hotels.com. From check-in to check out we couldn’t have asked for a better stay, the location is absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait to stay again in the summer. The views of the snow covered mountains were breathtaking and the little back patio was the perfect addition for us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Our little cabin had everything we could have asked for, there was plenty of natural sunlight, extra towels, mini fridge, soap, shampoo and conditioner just in case you forget yours. The beds were comfortable, directions for Wi-Fi, ac/heat were perfect and it was super clean.

The cabins are a good 23 minutes out of West Yellowstone so be aware that you're sacrificing some convenience. That being said, it couldn't be more quiet and scenic; the lake across the street is pristine and you're surrounded by mountains. The store where you check in closes around 7pm but they tape your registration materials to the window. The cabin is basically a mobile home with a hotel room on each side. The room isn't spacious but the 9 foot ceilings made it feel less cramped. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean. The bathrooms have a large glass standup shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers preinstalled. The shower was a bit wonky in design, where you have to be in the flow of the water when you turn it on. There's a coffee maker AND a hot water pot for tea. We didn't need anything during our two night stay but felt that the staff were available had we had a need. Great economical stay for Yellowstone.

This was a very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and a view of the lake from across the road. Its also only 7 miles from Quake Lake which was a beautiful drive and historic place to visit. Would definatly stay again.

We choose this location as a base for our time in Yellowstone. Knowing we did not need to check in in person allowed us to spend more time in the park on our first day. And being close to the park (about 20 mins) made for a short ride into and out of the park.

Woke to the sound of elk bugling, it was awesome!! Room was perfect and clean. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. They had yuck groceries if you needed them. We would definitely stay there again!

This location is 20 minutes out of West Yellowstone but it is well worth it for the money! Having a shower here is like being at a 5 star hotel the pressure was great the amenities were amazing and towels were so soft! Make sure you either eat before you get here or pick up something for dinner to have in the room!

Loved staying here - the cabins are modern and comfortable, and provide all the amenities you'd expect out of a hotel in a rustic setting. Gorgeous views and flexible checkin, and super quiet. A huge plus is the convenience store right next to the units, which also has a gas station - very convenient if you're flying and returning a car to West Yellowstone. Highly recommend.

This place was so cute! It was perfect for the 2 of us. It had a great view of the lake too. Everything was clean, and comfortable. There is no AC, but they have a fan in the room, and it was nice and cool with the windows open! They even gave us a snack at check-in! Would highly recommend this place!

Slightly awkward location with no real amenities around. Listing shows grill provided when actually has to be rented for $25 and so is misleading. Not great when the only means of eating hot food is by grilling (no other cooking facilities inside the cabin aside a microwave). Felt like a bit of a marketing con. Otherwise a good clean cabin but you need to be prepared for your stay.

Property as described. Neat and clean with a modern mountain flair. It sits across from a beautiful lake and backs to mountains. Perfect in-between for drives to Big Sky, West Yellowstone and beyond. We were definitely here off season, so the peace and quiet was perfect. All our communication was through the expedia site, and as everything went as planned we needed no other contact. There is a small market and restaurants near by, but the operate seasonally. Obviously a great place for fishing!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights with 2 big kids and the experience was great! At first, we were worried since there were reviews that the cabins don't have air conditioning. The staff I messaged confirmed that and said that they will be providing fans. But to our surprise, there's an A/C and it works perfectly! The place is 20 minutes away from west yellowstone town. We get breakfast there every morning after getting the complimentary coffee from the Lakeview Market and didn't cause any issues with our itinerary in YNP. The bathroom is really nice, the room is clean and the microwave was really helpful for our dinners. The scenery going to the property is so serene. Will definitely stay there again for our next YNP trip.

Very clean and nice. No coffee in the room but free coffe 6-10 am at convenience store. Big issue is that this is technically in W Yellowstone, but a 20 min drive from the town. No eating venues within walking distance. But nice place, friendly staff.
