King's Cross Express Inn

We really liked the comfort of the bed. The room was very clean albeit very small. It was in the basement, and the lift did not go down to the basement. Not a big deal but for someone who might have a lot of luggage that could be an issue along with the fact that there is no room in your room for luggage. We had one big checked bag and two carry-ons plus smaller bags and we had to block the door to the bathroom and the room to get everything in. We were only staying overnight to catch the train in the morning so it was no big deal. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel.

Very close to St Pancras/King Cross. Very convenient. The staff is really nice and helpfull. The solo room is really small but functional. If you are tall and big the shower could be problematic. I stayed one night so it was enough. No elevator, so if you come with a big suitcase, get ready. I would recommend the hotel still because of the location, the staff kindness and cleanliness.

This hotel should not be listed. It is a shame that Orbitz presents these fancy pictures while the hotel itself is terrible. I stayed for one night on May 12th, 2024. Here is what I found: 1. Bed bugs. They were visible and I got the staff to change the room for me (they even took a video of a crawling bug). 2. Hotel does not have a lift (under construction). This means that you have to carry your luggage upward or seek help (the staff helped me). 3. The room is tiny. I am talking no more than 4m x 3 m or less. 4. While a new construction, the windows have no sound proofing, and the room is on a busy street. The level of street noise is noticeable. 5. No shampoo. 6. No breakfast. Overall, a terrible experience.

Really close to the station - which was important for our stay. Staff was lovely and friendly. There is no lift but staff member took out suitcase upstairs without asking. Clean room ideal for short stay.

Small room but it had everything I needed. Clean room, comfortable bed, air conditioning, window. Small compact shower, toilet and whb but en-suite. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. Very convenient for Kings Cross station. Reasonable price for great location.

I loved the newly renovated room with high ceiling and skylight. I was on the 2nd floor in the back of the building. The bathroom had an excellent shower. It’s a short walk to King’s Cross underground and train station.

Good price, amazing staff. Lift was still being worked on, but staff brought our luggage to our room. Close to King's Cross, very convenient. Small room, but fine for a night or two. Bring ear plugs because the windows are thin and it is noisy. They had some thick curtains and a shade but they don't help with the noise. We had a handicap accessible room and felt like the water went everywhere for the shower (tiles were angled towards drain but we were still worried about water getting in sleeping area). Overall, I would stay here again with earplugs in tow.

It's a nice low budget option. They made the most of tiny spaces, and the fixtures were all up to date. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to needs. And by and large to stay was comfortable and quiet. My mobile phone was not working in England, but I could use the Wi-Fi which was great. But the room did not have a phone in case I needed to contact the front desk. Also there was no fire map to show the layout in case you had to exit in an emergency. Finally, I did get some dust in here on my feet from the floor in the room. I know the floors can look clean because of the pattern but a little more care to vacuum or sweep would help. With all that said I recommend staying there fore it's price and convenience, and friendly staff.

部屋にエアコンがあったのはよかったです。 ただ、5泊して、清掃は4泊目に1回のみでした。タオルの交換はありましたが、1日は交換もありませんでした。 部屋は狭いですが、立地が良かったです。えき、バス停、スーパーや飲食店も充実していました。

Perfect hotel for a short stay! I needed a room for an overnight stay so booked a single room. The room was small but perfect for what I needed. It was very clean and I felt safe, comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Only a five minute walk from King’s Cross and Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Would have rated it very good if that were a choice. Couldn't give it an excellent because of the price per sq ft ratio, and the shower was very hard to figure out the controls on it, and the risk of scalding was high. The smaller shower head could not be raised up because the fitting was broken and it would just slide back down. A/C unit worked fine and a plus was that the room had two small windows one could open for fresh air. Staff was VERY helpful and although there are about 5 or 6 steps to get into the place, the floors themselves are served by lifts. Very close to King's Cross so I'd definitely stay there again.

OVER PRICED FOR TINY ROOM, OLD DINGY HOTEL, OLD FURNISHINGS, DIRTY CARPET IN HALLWAYS DIRTY CHAIR IN BEDROOM STAFF FRIENDLY

Modern stylish room, very small and basic. Lovely refurbished shower room. Bed was comfortable. But noisy, definitely need earplugs. Would stay again as price is good for what you get.

While no doubt the room is clean and tidy, it's tiny 10sqm size is way too small for 2 adults each with a 28" luggage and a hand-carry bag. My wife & I must take turn to open our luggage atop the bed to take out our essential items, then close up and place the 2 luggage on upright position on narrow passage way by the room entrance in order not to block our entry to restroom. This, however, have effectively blocked the room entry which would post fire hazard. Luckily we only spent one single night here. Will we ever come back again? NO!

From a comfortable, economical, and efficiency standpoint, this convenient Inn fills the bill! I’d stay here again. Great air conditioning for a hot, sweaty London day and walk to Kings Cross Station!

The rooms were very modern while a little small. The main problem was that the wi-fi signal was so weak you could not log in and the TV also hardly worked due to the weak signal. So effectively no TV or wi-fi. All else was OK but there are really important on bsiness.

Room were way smaller than expected. We barely able to get our luggage inside the room. Otherwise the location of the hotel and cleanness of the room were great. For North American folks, just be prepared as the room is very small for 2 persons. Those are probably better fit for single person.

The room position meant there was a lot of noise from above..... hard flooring means you can hear every foot step from the room and corridors above. I was in a G room.... down some steps from reception so basically a basement level. Footsteps woke me up around midnight and again around 4am, 5.30am and 6am. Not a good sleep experience at all.

The hotel is located close to King's Cross which is very convenient. It is new and everything is clean, the beds are comfy and there was barely any noise so sleeping was good. However, the rooms are extremely small. Even though made for two and rented out to two people, it was hard to even fit my one normalsized suitcase in the room. In the first room I was given it wasn't even possible to put my suitcase flat on the floor to open it. More so, this room did not have a window and was tiny. Staff was nice to help and find me a room with a window.

No breakfast, no dining. The WiFi didn’t work.

The room and hotel was incredibly clean but the bed and room beyond a joke in size. You could only get in one side of the bed and climb over each other to get to the toilet or go to bed. Also had to breathe in to stand at the sink with privacy in the shower. Now small is small and I must say it had all the conveniences - amazingly well thought out but when I accepted small it wasn't thinking it was like that.

I really liked the hotel because it was new, clean, modern and close to public transport. The service was very friendly, open-minded and helpful.

The room is small but has everything. They also offered to put my orange juice in their fridge. Love the shower, adjustable AC, and elevator perfect for heatwave days in the UK. Everyone who works at the reception is helpful and friendly; impeccable customer service.

Staff did not explain for the need for the insurance money that I needed to pay on top of the room fees.

Very nice accommodations. Room was small but expected for staying in London. The staff was fantastic. Friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when in London. Access to KC station was easy and safe

On arrival. There was no one on reception. Waited about 3 minutes and someone came to greet us. We had arrived 1 hour before check in. I asked reception if the room was ready. They said it was and if I wanted to go in early, then they would charge me £10. I declined and asked if I could leave my cases somewhere safe so I could go out and have a walk round. They said I could leave it in the hallway with the other cases lined up. I declined this because they had been left unattended when I arrived. Someone could have easily walked in off the street and taken a case. We decided to wait the hour until we could get into the room. Whilst we were waiting, my husband asked if there was a toilet he could use, they said there wasn’t only the one in our room which we could not get in until 3pm. The bedroom was the smallest double bedroom I have ever stayed in! The double bed was pushed up against the wall and the length of the room was the size of the bed! When opening the door to enter the room, it caught the corner of the bed. Once in the room, there was not enough space for 2 people to stand up and open the case. We had to store the cases under the bed. The bathroom was very small. When using the toilet, your legs were under the hand basin. The only 2 things I would say which are positive is that the bed was comfortable and the small shower was powerful.

When I arrived to check in the receptionist just continued there phone call (it clearly wasn’t a customer call). I’m not overly worried by this, it’s annoying, especially as I was tired but the big problem came next. Finally he gives me a room key, I go to the room, someone is already using that room. I go back, he spends ages faffing around trying to figure out what went wrong while I’m tired waiting for a room, calls his boss to find out what’s happened and to ask what room I can go in - all while I wait, instead of just giving me any available room. I find the whole thing concerning, how can they give a key to a room someone else is already in. It’s a huge danger. I then was worried the rest of the night someone random might come into my room, I had the suitcase wedged between the door and the bed. At check out the receptionist barely said anything, didn’t ask how my stay was and when I asked about luggage storage just said I can leave it in the reception, no tags or security. I’ve used the hotel a number of times before but never again. It no longer feels safe.

The staff were the best I have experienced at any motel especially with a booking of such short notice due to poor facilities at another location. Thanks

Good value for money for this hotel very close to Kings Cross St Pancras. A little noisy because of the traffic unfortunately but difficult to avoid that in this district

Great location near to Kings Cross and St Pancras train stations. Decent sized room, clean, comfy and affordable - just what I needed for a 1-nights stay.

Excellent location and very well organised.

Room was very small but we sensed that from the photo. Area of town seemed a little sketchy.

Though the double room I had was small but it was very comfortable and well designed. I found the room like being in the warm cuddle of my mum. I slept very well. My only criticism is that there is no room service or restaurant. And it is a walk to find this. But I would stay there again.

Hade en stor skön säng i rummet men det var inte lätt att få plats med fötterna att nå golvet runt om och väskorna ska vi inte prata om. En svagt lysande sänglampa med en strömbrytare. Hade kanske läst illa i bokningen men frukost med en juice, banan, yoghurt o en croissant o pulverkaffe på det trånga rummet var inte vad jag hade tänkt mig. Hotellet tog bra betalt för vad vi fick jämfört med andra boenden i London.

Staff were lovely on check in and check out. I liked the Whatsapp messaging to get the wifi password and iron/ironing board delivered to the room all without having to leave the room and go down to reception but the shower was freezing and when they came to the room to look, the chap clearly had no clue what to do as he just ran it as I had done and said he would get the plumber to attend 9am the next morning which by then I was already at client meetings. They had clearly just ran out of hot water because my neighbours shower was running for a good 40 mins..... I wasn't informed prior to the stay that the kitchen was closed and under construction so paid a fortune for breakfast in a brown paperbag which had I known about, I wouldnt have paid

Chambres minuscules sans fenêtres, 2 nuits passées à une semaine d intervalle,la 1ère nuit en dessous du sous-sol, la 2e au 1er étage, sans fenêtre également, environ 6m2,salle de bain et wc inclus. Quant au petit-déjeuner, il est distribué ds des sacs,et pas de salle pour déjeuner donc,on s'installe où on peut, sur les marches par exemple. Si on veut un 2ème cafe, il faut payer. En résumé hôtel bien placé pour les gares,chambre propre, ms quelle déception.
