The overall stay was good; the television reception needs improving - channels were scrambling all the time. The location was greet; near 3 major tubes that connected to all major lines; bus transportation was right out the door and the area was hospitable and inviting. Close to a variety of eating establishment, and the neighborhood was walkable.

Modern building, well appointed room, friendly and efficient service from front desk. Convenient to a bus stop. Only downside was AC didn't work consistently, and there was a very hot day.

Stay was amazing. Bus station across the street. Easy access. Owner was great. Extremely nice and accommodating. Safe and secure. Room was clean.

Not in the best area and it’s a bit of a hike to the nearest tube stations, but the building itself is very secure. There is AC, however the one in our room (on the top floor) was barely blowing and the temperature hovered around 75 Fahrenheit during our entire stay. The doorman was friendly but when I asked if he could fix the AC in our room (there was an issue with the screen which I thought was causing the low air problem) he said “sure” and walked out of our room to get a part, then just never came back to fix it? For the price there are better areas to stay in.

Very clean and well appointed property, reasonable sized rooms, and attentive staff. Self-catering, so don't expect full hotel service. There will be people who are put off by the area. I know the East End so I wasn't, and I appreciate the easy connections to the City and elsewhere. I you want to stay in a glamorous part of London, this isn't for you, but as a convenient and pleasant place to stay at a reasonable price, this fits the bill.

The apartment was perfect for us and the shower is amazing! Very clean and spacious as pictured, and the building was very secure. Staff were so welcoming and friendly — always checking that everything was okay and someone was always around. Underground, overground, and DLR were all within a 10 minute walk as well - which we loved. Excellent value for money.

Staff are extremely polite, easy check in, my room was very clean and modern. It was a lovely stay even though I was only there for a night! Their Expedia messages were not working so I ended up ringing them for the check in link and they picked up straight away to help. The area isn’t the best but not terrible. It was a 10 min walk to the nearest tube station with easy access to bus stops as well. Thank you for having me :)

The staff were wonderful—very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and the entire place was quiet and well-maintained. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants and supermarkets, and public transportation (buses and trains) is just a short walk away. For Muslim travelers, there's a large and beautiful mosque only five minutes away on foot.

Hotel is not in the cleanest area, but it has its vibe and I actually liked that. There is shop nearby, a lot of restaurants and places where you can eat nice breakfast. Easy to get with metro or bus. Check in was very easy, reception is 24/7 available, towels in the room, we had a really nice view from top floor, with really nice vibe. Fridge is in the room, shower, toilet. Pillows could be a little bit bigger. Personel is really helpful and friendly. Most important, everything was clean, 10/10!

I always look for good reviews before booking and Aptel East lived up to its well deserved high score. Lovely staff at reception. Beautifully presented and clean room and en-suite with toiletries and nice towels. Whitechapel station and bus stops close by. We were attending a conference at St Mary's so it was ideal for us. This is a multi-cultural area and it was nice NOT to be faced with the usual chains of retailers. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Affordable aparthotel within 20 mins walk of the city and close to lots of good stuff in east London. The room was spotless and felt relatively new. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower wasn't amazing but it was hot. All in all, can't complain

Bad area to stay at, not worth the difference in price for a more central location, friendly customer service, the check in screens they have dont add any value or speed to the process and they should have someone there, we waited on the street for someone to come an open the door, it's clean, very basic bed and poor quality of the sofa bed

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful. The area that the hotel was in was a getto looking area and the warned us not to go out at night because there had been stabbings in the area. This area was unsafe. With that in mind we did not feel safe or comfortable being out after dark and we felt confined to our room until the next day.

Nice property to stay in London within zone 1&2 . Has good connections , walkable to couple of tube stations . Definitely an alternate option to the costlier hotels in these zones

Affordable aparthotel within 20 mins walk of the city and close to lots of good stuff in east London. The room was spotless and felt relatively new. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower wasn't amazing but it was hot. All in all, can't complain

The apartment was perfect for us and the shower is amazing! Very clean and spacious as pictured, and the building was very secure. Staff were so welcoming and friendly — always checking that everything was okay and someone was always around. Underground, overground, and DLR were all within a 10 minute walk as well - which we loved. Excellent value for money.

The overall stay was good; the television reception needs improving - channels were scrambling all the time. The location was greet; near 3 major tubes that connected to all major lines; bus transportation was right out the door and the area was hospitable and inviting. Close to a variety of eating establishment, and the neighborhood was walkable.

Spacious well equipped and clean room with nice toiletries. Small kitchenette with fridge, sink, kettle, toaster. Good location. Staff on reception super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble

The staff were wonderful—very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and the entire place was quiet and well-maintained. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants and supermarkets, and public transportation (buses and trains) is just a short walk away. For Muslim travelers, there's a large and beautiful mosque only five minutes away on foot.

Hotel is not in the cleanest area, but it has its vibe and I actually liked that. There is shop nearby, a lot of restaurants and places where you can eat nice breakfast. Easy to get with metro or bus. Check in was very easy, reception is 24/7 available, towels in the room, we had a really nice view from top floor, with really nice vibe. Fridge is in the room, shower, toilet. Pillows could be a little bit bigger. Personel is really helpful and friendly. Most important, everything was clean, 10/10!

Excellent condition, nothing to compare about the room. Did not like the breakfast as the lady working at the cafe did not tell me I can get hot breakfast. Instead I ended up with a cold sandwich. Plus Hotels.com charged me for two breakfasts while the hotel only has given me one coupon. So don’t purchase the breakfast 👍

Very clean and well appointed property, reasonable sized rooms, and attentive staff. Self-catering, so don't expect full hotel service. There will be people who are put off by the area. I know the East End so I wasn't, and I appreciate the easy connections to the City and elsewhere. I you want to stay in a glamorous part of London, this isn't for you, but as a convenient and pleasant place to stay at a reasonable price, this fits the bill.

Fräscht lägenhetshotell nära busshållplats och ca 9 min till tunnelbanan. Köket innehöll dock bara ett pyttelitet kylskåp, diskho, brödrost och micro. Iofs var det bra att ha. Hade önskat krokar i badrummet och en garderob att hänga kläder i. Vi trivdes dock bra, utsikten var fin och vi kan absolut tänka oss att komma tillbaka.

Clean, spacious apartment hotel in Aldgate, with an excellent central location that makes it easy to explore London’s top attractions. We stayed here while attending a concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and getting there was straightforward. Depending on your preference, you can travel via Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, or Liverpool Street stations, options to take connecting bus or walking. Aptel East is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping is provided every three days, but we were provided fresh towels and toiletries upon request. The only feature we felt was missing was access to a washing machine, which would have been very useful for guests staying for a longer period. A special mention goes to Mamun, who assisted us during our stay. Although he was new to the team, he was friendly, approachable, and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. His excellent attitude and willingness to help made a positive impression on us. We definitely had a pleasant stay and would happily recommend Aptel East to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base in London.
