Excellent location: one side near the road where there is easy access to Taxi and excursions pickup and drop, and the other side opens to the Medina. Breakfast is lovely. Nice courtyard, with greenery and chilling music in the evenings, a couple of turtles. Friendly staff, even gave us an early breakfast takeaway as we had to leave for an excursion. Water filter for free - eco friendly so you don’t need to buy bottles! On the not so good side - we booked a family room but it wasn’t “available” when we arrived at night. 2 double rooms were given and effort was made next day to sort it out. Rooms are ok, but some are small.

O quarto era limpo, porém muito apertado (dificil até abrir uma mala). A reserva era com cama king e tinha cama casal simples. O teto do banheito estava caindo e com mofo. Funcionários muito atenciosos, ótimo café da manhã. Jantamos uma noite no hotel e foi muito bom.

Lo mejor el personal y la comida. Pero estuvimos tres días antes intentando contactar sin respuesta, y al llegar nos ubican en otro hotel por humedades. Falta de mantenimiento, iluminación en habitaciones, problemas de agua caliente. Muy mejorable todo, a excepción de la amabilidad y atención de todo el personal, así como una comida y desayuno exquisitos

The rooms we booked encountered water pipe issues and we needed to go to another Riad for the 3-day stay. In return, Palais Shazam Riad offered us free massage for each guest. But the condition for the hotel we finally stayed was a bit behind my expectations and needed some improvement and renovation.
