Everything was perfect. Great location. Noisy at times. It was unclear if the pool was for hotel guest or anyone docking with their boat on the Marina for the day. Not very private. It seemed to be a free for all. Our biggest worry would be that there is no key or locked front entrance to the hotel during the night. Only our hotel room was locked. Front door of the hotel was always open for anyone to come in off the streets. No one was at the front lobby desk during those times. We’ve stayed on the island 5 times and we always had good double entrance security with two key entrance

Nice stay and nice staff. Quiet at the room. Nice rooms, a bit hard bed and pillows, but not too bad. Pretty rooms as well and clean. Do not recommend the pool area - very small and sunbeds filled with birdpoo.

Great location. Great view. Great floorplan in room #1. The only negative was there wasn't a place to park a golf cart. You had to walk about two blocks. But that wasn't a biggie for us.

Great location near ferry terminal. The room was decent and balcony offers great views of boats. However, I would say this was a Marina with restaurant and rooms. Not a hotel with marina and restaurant. The restaurant closes by 7:00, so not a dinner option. The pool is located within restaurant, so you must exit hotel to street then enter restaurant to get to pool. They don’t provide towels for pool. The food was good, but servers weren’t very welcoming. Again, they are focused on serving the marina guests. Not a deal breaker. But certainly not what I was expecting.

This hotel is upstairs from the restaurant and was a bit noisy. The video of the water was great but to get to the pool you had to go through the restaurant. The room was modern and clean and the ac was a welcome addition.

Our stay was for 10 days. This was a basic hotel room not a "suite". The fridge is tiny so not very much will fit and there is only one chair vs. a couch or something more comfortable to sit on inside. A dresser would also be a welcome addition, there was barely any storage so we lived out of our suitcases for the 10 days. The wifi was brutal and kept cutting out, at night we like to wind down and ended up just watching movies we had already downloaded on our tablets vs. using the tv. The front door to access the building is never locked and it is rare to find a staff member sitting behind the desk. As well there is only one locking mechanism on the room door, so absolutely no additional security, anyone with a key could have easily come into the room unlike most suites/hotel rooms (no chain/bar or double lock). The hotel was responsive via whatsapp which was nice and the maid did a great job at keeping things fresh, although my feet were filthy from walking barefoot in the room. Knowing these things, I would not have chosen to stay here for this long. Also the only way to access the pool is to go outside and enter through the restaurant. It is right beside the restaurant and there is no restrictions on who uses the pool (lots of kids throwing things and splashing in the pool, none of them were staying at the hotel).

We loved our stay at hotel Bartolome! Beautiful, light filled room, great A/C, comfy bed, friendly and thorough cleaning lady, cold fridge, and the view from our patio can not be beat! We added an extra night because we did not want to leave and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

This is our second year staying here in November. The room is clean with a mini fridge and a safe. A few minor things that could improve are: the beds are super hard; provide larger safes (they are very small); have luggage racks, and offer pool towels. Something to keep in mind that is not the hotel's fault is that the marina restaurant attached to the hotel was very wishy-washy about when they are open for dinner. They tell you they are open until 8pm, but the first night we went down at 7:22, we were told serving drinks only (ok, I can under that), so we walked to Hildago. The second night went down at 7:02, and we were told again that the kitchen was closed, serving drinks only, and we would have to go to the sports bar for wings/pizza/nachos. I love the restaurant's ceviche, so when asked what time we needed to arrive to eat. Then they said we could eat. Once we sat down, we had great service, ate, and were gone by 7:35. Nothing that will prevent me from returning, just good things to keep in mind.

We very much enjoyed the stay at Bartalome. The room was as pictured online, all the rooms are oceanfront. The lady that checked us in was very nice, English was excellent, was always friendly and smiling. The cleaning service was excellent and were always happy with any of our needs. We stayed in room 10

We loved our stay! The location is perfect - just a short walk along from the Ultramar ferry port which was ideal after a long travel day. It was also a short walk into the main streets of Isla Mujeres where the restaurants / bars are, but the room was quiet and peaceful. The view from our room was beautiful and we loved watching the sunset over the sea from our balcony. Our room was lovely and clean. The cleaners were very friendly and the lady on reception who helped us was lovely - she was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations.

The staff were nice and the room was very clean. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is extremely noisy. There is loud road noise on one side in addition to music from the restaurant below. At 7:30 in the morning the fishermen were hammering at the marina, and boats were coming and going regularly. The manager was nice enough to let us move to a different room, and the noise issue was not as big a factor. In general, the area is very busy, barely a block away from the ferry. I would not choose the area again. If you want tranquility, this is not the place.

Great spot just steps from the ferry. A few minute walk to the Malecon to take in the sunrise; we enjoyed the sunset right from our balcony. Nice and simple room with good amenities - mini fridge, coffee pot (coffee provided!), mugs & spoons, microwave, comfy bed, shower with good pressure. Moped and golf cart rental place right across the street.

This place is clean, spacious and a great view of the marina. It is very close to the ferry which also means it is very busy. The property sits upstairs from their restaurant and marina. However, I wouldn’t call it a hotel. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is just a large room lined upstairs with a bedroom door. There’s another door to the bedroom which keeps the noise out. There is a person at the front desk only when you check in. Other than that, they are gone. You can message if you need anything and the guy is very helpful. But no one is there and the door to the property is always unlocked. They say there’s security but I didn’t see anyone. If you are concerned about this, this is not the place for you. Also, no elevators so if you have suitcases you need to carry them up and down. The guy was nice enough to carry ours up upon arrival. We had issues w the TV and the guy tried to fix it. Unfortunately it still didn’t work and we didn’t want to bother him as we had a short 2 night stay here. It is about 15 min walk to north beach. It is a convienent area as banks, restaurants, the ferry and golf cart rentals are steps away. It is also clean but don’t expect hotel service.

The room was clean, decorated, nice view from the balcony, internet worked really welll, AC as well. It was super close from the ferry and close to most restaurants and stores in the North Beach. Silent, I was able sleep well. I would stay in this hotel again.

The suites are a 3 minute walk from the ferry and located on the busiest road on the island. The suites face toward the water and you really don't hear the traffic. Balcony is large and room is spacious. Water pressure and temperature are great (not as common as you might think). Bonus: sandwich and coffee shop downstairs in building was reasonable and high quality compared to similar spots on Isla.

Perfekt placering for vores smag. Tilpas tæt på alt og “væk” fra postyr. Dejligt værelse med stor altan. Skønt at kigge ud på havet og alle bådene. Der er restaurant og meget lille pool. Et par solstole ved molen. Sengen er gigantisk - og en hård nyser. Hovedpuderne kæmpe og drøn hårde. Solen står lige på værelserne fra klokken 14. Så der er VARMT. Der er vifter på værelset. Beautiful rooms and great location - right next to the ferry dock and across from gold cart rental. Each room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the sunset. The bed was big and super comfortable, and the smart TV was easy to connect to. Please note that the owners have multiple properties and are not manning the desk 24/7. You need to get into contact with them via WhatsApp, but they always replied immediately and someone was there promptly. We really enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer!

Unlocked door, no lobby, no one works there regularly and the front doors of the rooms were about as heavy as an average house’s bedroom door with one little doorknob lock. If the island didn’t feel as safe as it did this would’ve been a nightmare scenario. Room couldn’t have been more basic with absolutely unusably tall pillows. You had to lock and unlock the balcony door with a key. It was a mediocre room for rent. Absolutely not worth the price I’m shocked by the good reviews we had friends staying in hostels that seemed more secure and a quarter of the price.

Everything was perfect. Great location. Noisy at times. It was unclear if the pool was for hotel guest or anyone docking with their boat on the Marina for the day. Not very private. It seemed to be a free for all. Our biggest worry would be that there is no key or locked front entrance to the hotel during the night. Only our hotel room was locked. Front door of the hotel was always open for anyone to come in off the streets. No one was at the front lobby desk during those times. We’ve stayed on the island 5 times and we always had good double entrance security with two key entrance

Everyone was wonderful and easy to deal with. I appreciated being able to communicate prior and during the trip via WhatsApp. The view from the patio was amazing and we loved watching the boats come in from Cancun. We had an excellent stay!

This place is clean, spacious and a great view of the marina. It is very close to the ferry which also means it is very busy. The property sits upstairs from their restaurant and marina. However, I wouldn’t call it a hotel. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is just a large room lined upstairs with a bedroom door. There’s another door to the bedroom which keeps the noise out. There is a person at the front desk only when you check in. Other than that, they are gone. You can message if you need anything and the guy is very helpful. But no one is there and the door to the property is always unlocked. They say there’s security but I didn’t see anyone. If you are concerned about this, this is not the place for you. Also, no elevators so if you have suitcases you need to carry them up and down. The guy was nice enough to carry ours up upon arrival. We had issues w the TV and the guy tried to fix it. We are a senior couple, stayed a week. This is a tiny (5 rooms or so, all one floor up) hotel over a restaurant. Room was nice and clean, maid service every day. Great location right next to the ferry terminal and everything in Centro is < 15 minute walk. Somewhat insulated from traffic noise and a small private balcony with a nice view of the harbor. At $200US per night, seemed expensive, for what you get. Two significant negatives. 1) Band downstairs was very loud, intrusive in room, made balcony unusable. Played everyday from late afternoon into dinner time. 2) Hospitality level more appropriate for a $20 hostel than a $200 hotel. We asked for two extra towels, told "no", not possible". When we used up the tiny soap and shampoo mid-week I asked the desk person for more. He went on at length about what a big problem that was but agreed to have the maid deliver them. She didn't. Asked again that evening and got the same "big problem" speech but that person did get them for me. A local couple stopped by for a before dinner drink. Got a text the next day saying the maid had spotted strangers coming out of our room and that this was not permitted. I explained they were friends picking us up for dinner. She said that was not permitted and they must wait in the lobby. There are better values and certainly more customer service oriented hotels on Isla.

The staff were nice and the room was very clean. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, the hotel is extremely noisy. There is loud road noise on one side in addition to music from the restaurant below. At 7:30 in the morning the fishermen were hammering at the marina, and boats were coming and going regularly. The manager was nice enough to let us move to a different room, and the noise issue was not as big a factor. In general, the area is very busy, barely a block away from the ferry. I would not choose the area again. If you want tranquility, this is not the place.

Great spot just steps from the ferry. A few minute walk to the Malecon to take in the sunrise; we enjoyed the sunset right from our balcony. Nice and simple room with good amenities - mini fridge, coffee pot (coffee provided!), mugs & spoons, microwave, comfy bed, shower with good pressure. Moped and golf cart rental place right across the street.

This is our second year staying here in November. The room is clean with a mini fridge and a safe. A few minor things that could improve are: the beds are super hard; provide larger safes (they are very small); have luggage racks, and offer pool towels. Something to keep in mind that is not the hotel's fault is that the marina restaurant attached to the hotel was very wishy-washy about when they are open for dinner. They tell you they are open until 8pm, but the first night we went down at 7:22, we were told serving drinks only (ok, I can under that), so we walked to Hildago. The second night went down at 7:02, and we were told again that the kitchen was closed, serving drinks only, and we would have to go to the sports bar for wings/pizza/nachos. I love the restaurant's ceviche, so when asked what time we needed to arrive to eat. Then they said we could eat. Once we sat down, we had great service, ate, and were gone by 7:35. Nothing that will prevent me from returning, just good things to keep in mind.

Room was nicely decorated and very clean. The restaurant & pool was a great place to spend leisurely afternoons after enjoying the island during the mornings. Staff was prompt in communication. Only needed assistance twice during stay, but both times there was a response in under 5 minutes.

Not a hotel with marina and restaurant. The restaurant closes by 7:00, so not a dinner option. The pool is located within restaurant, so you must exit hotel to street then enter restaurant to get to pool. They don’t provide towels for pool. The food was good, but servers weren’t very welcoming. Again, they are focused on serving the marina guests. Not a deal breaker. But certainly not what I was expecting.

We loved our stay! It was a good location for watching all the coming and goings of the many boats and ferries visiting Isla. Staff were amazing. There is a small pool overlooking the marina. Overall it was a good place to stay for our four days on the island.

The suites are a 3 minute walk from the ferry and located on the busiest road on the island. The suites face toward the water and you really don't hear the traffic. Balcony is large and room is spacious. Water pressure and temperature are great (not as common as you might think). Bonus: sandwich and coffee shop downstairs in building was reasonable and high quality compared to similar spots on Isla.

O lugar é agradável e silencioso, apesar de estar em rua de movimento, mas a posição frente ao mar e portas duplas resolvem a questão, ficam a poucos minutos a pé do terminal maritimo.No check out guardaram nossas malas e nos permitiram ficar na piscina até o horário da nossa travessia para Cancun.

This resort fell why short of my expectations. The images was a false reflection of the accommodations and access to the pool was via the restaurant which I found to be inconvenient. It also lacked the basic amenities I am accustomed to in a resort. The staff was no super helpful when I asked for stuff for the room.

This resort fell why short of my expectations. The images was a false reflection of the accommodations and access to the pool was via the restaurant which I found to be inconvenient. It also lacked the basic amenities I am accustomed to in a resort. The staff was no super helpful when I asked for stuff for the room.

Great little hotel. Our room was very nice, large, good bathroom, and great water views from our balcony. The staff are amazing - so friendly. The location is good and easy two minute walk from the ferry. The pool was okay - We spent our days at the beach so didn’t really need a pool. I would stay here again for sure.

We had a wonderful 9-night stay at Bartolome Oceanfront Suites, and we wouldn't change a thing!!! We were always out on our balcony with coffee in the morning, and we often enjoyed magnificent sunsets there in the evening. The Staff were delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!!!! Special shout-out to Ricardo and Carenya (?) 🥰 They have a wonderful restaurant, but most of the time, we opted to explore the many options well within walking distance. We loved the energy of the neighbourhood, and we were also able to enjoy more peaceful times in the am+pm. Great bed, shower, view, food, location and wonderful people ♥️ Can't wait to return!!!!
