Staff were amazing. Room was a bit cold and lady came up with an extra duvet really quickly. All staff we came across were really lovely and helpful. Our dog was treated like a king!

Having booked a 'pet friendly' room, felt like I was being scammed to be charged an additional fee at check-in that wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. To be also landed with a hidden charge to park at a hotel in the middle of a barren industrial estate in Somerset is also very sneaky. More honesty and transparency in your pricing expedia and ibis please

Staff were competent and friendly; better bring along some ear-plugs though, one side faces a dual carriageway, and the other, a railway line and the car-park; BTW guests have to fork out £9.00 a night for parking, something hotels.com and other sites don't mention

Not a great location, but convenient for the Motorway! But for what you get, the room is expensive, and then to charge for parking on top! Surely entered the number plate, but I not be charged. When I went out for the evening, I couldn't even park, so I wasted £9! I travel every week with work and the hotel/staff were great, but leaves a bad taste with costs!!!

The bed was comfortable and convenient location from the motorway. Parking being charged as an extra £9 for 12 hours is extortionate considering the hotel is in an industrial park, not accessible by other forms of transport. This should be included in the price or not charged- just seemed like a money making scam for their guests which left a sour taste upon check in. This could be excused if the room was pristine but the bathroom looked only surface clean with white drip marks on the walls and the shower head covered in black gunk.

It was a very nice stay at this hotel. We are a family of 4 adults and we stayed here 2 nights. We were very happy here, the hotel was very clean and tidy, the rooms were very cozy and above all, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was filthy. The corridor was covered in white paper and the room had no shampoo or wash in any of the containers. We could not wash hands after using the toilet. The shower was blocked and couldnt drain away. When we lifted the drain it was blocked with hair. I was standing in filthy brown water. The wall fan was full of dirt. Toilet was not clean. We couldnt eat till 7.30 as there was a buffet arranged for a group. When we left we overheard two employees complaining that the cleaner was taking an hour to clean aroom and that it should take 15 mins. This is obviously why the rooms are so unclean and unhygenic.

Very comfortable, modern hotel, a step up on the usual "Premier" options at this price with a decent shower on a hose and proper loo paper, decent wifi, comfy bed and smart TV. Nice bar area and friendly staff. Main menu a bit basic as is the quality and £9 a night parking only little whinges, all in all I'll definitely be back. Good breakfast too.

The room was quite small, the windows don't open, no fresh air, and the I could hear the television and conversations from the neighboring room. Some might complain about the hotel room decor but this wasn't a problem for me, mostly the parking system is not only stingingly expensive, you're constantly reminded of it with signs warning you about Parking Eye watching your every move, really off putting. Probably won't do this one again.

After booking, I then received an email advising I had to pay to park. This was not clear prior to making the booking. The room was dark and dank. The walls were cast concrete and it was like being in a cell. There were paint and water run marks on the unfinished concrete walls. It gave the impression of a dirty environment. The furniture and fixings were inadequate. Small stools substituting for bedside cabinets and a metal frame substituting for a wardrobe. In an 'acessible' room, there was only one wooden chair, which offered no comfort. The only lighting in the main area were the bedside lights. The window was so small it let in little light. To top it off the remote control for the air conditioning didn't work and there were no instructions for the wall mounted control unit. The widow didn't open and the room was stifling. There was no extraction fan in the bathroom, meaning steam escaped into the room, adding to the humidity, not to mention odours. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is the exceptionally poor value for money.

Staff friendly. Everywhere very clean. Nice hot shower. I did find the room decor very stark and not welcoming - concrete walls, brown, grey and black furnishings and the only chair was hard and uncomfortable. Okay for a couple of nights but I wouldn't want to spend longer.

Very helpful and friendly staff both in the bar/restaurant and on the front desk. Good location close to the motorway but no motorway noise at night. Clean room and any issues were very quickly resolved.

Ok but clearly shortage of staff. What staff were there were very good but the hotel seemed to be understaffed. For instance in our stay over 5 nights our room was not serviced. Service in the restaurant was far to slow.

Friendly staff, clean basic rooms, nice and quiet, no banging doors etc . Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Limited choices plus everything constantly running out. Lots of hanging around waiting for the missing items to be brought out. Gave up waiting for bread for toast. After 15 minutes one loaf of bread was brought out, and by the time I got there that had gone. Just needs more staff (the existing staff were doing their best) and better organising. The food when it was available was ok, but nothing special.

Unfortunate that check in is from 3 but when we arrived after 4.30 our room wasn’t ready. Booked a twin room as needed two separate beds but the two beds were pushed together in the room which defeats the purpose of twin beds.

First time at an IBIS Hotel. The room is not any use for a stay of more than one night. There are no draws to put clothes in no useful bedside cabinets. The fan heater does not produce hot air to warm the room. The instructions are so small you can’t read them. The staff were brilliant, but not enough on for breakfast, the 2 that were on each day worked so hard but unfortunately things slipped, cutlery not topped up which meant a long wait for knives. You need a sign informing guest they can order fried or poached eggs. I ordered fried eggs on first morning and they took so long the rest of my breakfast was cold, when they did arrive I have to say they were the worst fried eggs I have ever had. I couldn’t wait for more to be done. They were flattened and had no soft yolk. I have photos. Your chef needs some training,Your bar staff were ok but need training in how to produce a Brandy and lemonade etc in one glass. My view is you don’t put enough staff on for breakfast so they can’t give the service they should be giving.

Lovely hotel, very close to M5, superb front of house staff, very pet-friendly, nice bar and outside seating area. Very clean, comfy bed, big pillows, good shower. The only thing that brings down our score was the unexpected visitors who came into our room at 8:45am, despite us not having checked out. That process needs looking into.

The hotel has a very pleasant bar/restaurant area. The rooms are clean and functional although they aren't the quietest with a dual carriageway and a rail line either side. When comparing the price, beware that the parking is an additional £9/night. This seems extortionate for a hotel on a relatively remote business park.

Very helpful and friendly staff both in the bar/restaurant and on the front desk. Good location close to the motorway but no motorway noise at night. Clean room and any issues were very quickly resolved.

It's a lovely hotel with great staff, comfortable rooms and just off the motorway, so very convenient. But.... To have to pay £9 to park on an industrial estate off the motorway is awful. The landlords have clearly added double yellow lines throughout the estate to force you to pay too. It's still good value overall but that is seriously annoying. Also I went for a walk in the evening to get my steps in and came back along the river. Perfect, popped out close to the hotel on the other side of the dual carriageway and literally the only way to cross was walk 3/4 mile back up the main road to cross at a roundabout and come down the other side.

I asked for a quiet room and the girl on reception readily gave us a room on the other side away from the road. It was perfect. You wouldn’t have known there were any other guests in the hotel and no traffic noise. Blackout curtains and A/C, so in this hot weather we had a perfect night’s sleep 💕💕

Not a great location, but convenient for the Motorway! But for what you get, the room is expensive, and then to charge for parking on top! Surely entered the number plate, but I not be charged. When I went out for the evening, I couldn't even park, so I wasted £9! I travel every week with work and the hotel/staff were great, but leaves a bad taste with costs!!!

Location is not friendly for those whose not driving. No convenience store nearby as location is very remote. It’s good for short stays and looking for a quite place to stay after a long day out. Overall our stay was ok.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was comfortable although you can't open the window to let fresh air in. Breakfast was good with a nice selection to suit every pallette.

Very hit and miss, staffing obviously an issue, when no white bread for toast, went all the way through to kitchen, I at least expected to find cook in kitchen, no one about, another morning no scrambled egg and no bacon for ages. One evening 7.30 couldn’t take anymore bookings for meals had to come back at 8 then told 30-40 min wait for food. Appears kitchen is also doing takeaway for Deliveroo , hope that’s not why I was turned away previous evening. Dress code an issue, will someone buy cook a belt, bum crack not something you want to see at breakfast. Good points food pretty good when available plus plenty of takeaway cups for coffee. Could do a lot better.

Hotel and staff were lovely but the restaurant attached to the hotel is ridiculously expensive. £26 for sirloin steak but the admiral down the road is £10 cheaper. Beer selection at the bar not great and the bar staff extremely inexperienced. One we spoke to did not know what a Chardonnay was! Not keen on the hidden £9 charge to park the car either. If the price is cheap enough, pleasant hotel to stay the night but look elsewhere to eat and drink.

Nice room , dreadful free cans of water in room , difficult to open and pour , food was rabbit portion size , breakfast ran out of items , cappuccino was luke warm not the best place ive stayed

Friendly staff, clean basic rooms, nice and quiet, no banging doors etc . Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Limited choices plus everything constantly running out. Lots of hanging around waiting for the missing items to be brought out. Gave up waiting for bread for toast. After 15 minutes one loaf of bread was brought out, and by the time I got there that had gone. Just needs more staff (the existing staff were doing their best) and better organising. The food when it was available was ok, but nothing special.

Very comfortable, modern hotel, a step up on the usual "Premier" options at this price with a decent shower on a hose and proper loo paper, decent wifi, comfy bed and smart TV. Nice bar area and friendly staff. Main menu a bit basic as is the quality and £9 a night parking only little whinges, all in all I'll definitely be back. Good breakfast too.

First time at an IBIS Hotel. The room is not any use for a stay of more than one night. There are no draws to put clothes in no useful bedside cabinets. The fan heater does not produce hot air to warm the room. The instructions are so small you can’t read them. The staff were brilliant, but not enough on for breakfast, the 2 that were on each day worked so hard but unfortunately things slipped, cutlery not topped up which meant a long wait for knives. You need a sign informing guest they can order fried or poached eggs. I ordered fried eggs on first morning and they took so long the rest of my breakfast was cold, when they did arrive I have to say they were the worst fried eggs I have ever had. I couldn’t wait for more to be done. They were flattened and had no soft yolk. I have photos. Your chef needs some training,Your bar staff were ok but need training in how to produce a Brandy and lemonade etc in one glass. My view is you don’t put enough staff on for breakfast so they can’t give the service they should be giving.

1 night stay. Room was comfortable and in great condition. Evening meal in hotel restaurant, Keepers, was very good food and service. Breakfast had limited choice and items ran out quickly. Crockery and glassware had to be asked for. Breakfast area seemed short staffed and could have been cleaner.

This Ibis whilst in the middle of an industrial estate is ideally located and convenient for a stop-off stay. The hotel is clean, modern and breakfast was excellent. We had our evening meal there and again food was fabulous. The staff were especially helpful and friendly, especially Joel, who was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if needed a stop off stay.

Ultra modern but very comfortable and spacious rooms, lovely bathroom. Great to have lemon water available in foyer for guests . Breakfast good too. Food quickly replaced in the breakfast buffet as it ran out. Good atmosphere in bar and quirky design, very comfortable. Could do with better instructions for air con as windows dont open even an inch, but everything else wonderful. And a grab rail in shower would be great.
