This was an overnight stop on the Coast to Coast bike ride. The staff are great, property a little tired. Breakfast excellent. Relatively expensive but was a clean warm room bed for the night.

Very welcoming. Friendly staff. Comfortable and well appointed room. Good service, brilliant breakfast, will stay again AND recommend to others

What a lovely old school pub and hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great (a lot of locals seemed to be eating here too). Room was simple but comfortable and very clean. There are a few areas that are a little tired and worn, but not to the level of impacting guests. I would be happy to stay here again

Quaintly old fashioned, which we like, with very friendly cheerful staff. The amenities were simple but perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious. We also ate an evening meal in their restaurant which was simple but very tasty. We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay.
