The home is in a central area that is convenient for almost every activity. There is a wonderful jogging/biking path that runs the length of the Rio Grande right next door—a great space for our pooch, too! There are security gates and helpful remote controls, and communicating with the owner was quick and helpful. A great hot tub on a very cold evening. The price point and no extra dog charge was an added bonus.

Just stayed the night but it was a really cute well done property. The hot tub was nice after an 8 hour drive but bed was rather squeaky when someone turned over.

We loved our stay at Prickly Pear cactus! The check directions were clear and thorough and everything was easy and secure. There’s a park right near where lots of folks walk their dog. Its 10 mins to UNM and easy to downtown. Hot tub clean and great. Fun backyard vibes, great screen for movie watching, well stocked and super responsive hosts. Comfy beds, couch and great tub. Appreciated easy check out, and would stay again!

We loved this house! The location was great, right next to a park with a lot of trails and events in early December. The house has everything we needed for a 4 day stay, including a designated parking spot for our rental car and a hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

Property was easy to find and located right off the main drag in town. Property manager was very clear on all of the instructions for the check-in, check-out and all other necessary details for our time there. The gated entrance was great! We were moving cross country with a 15' U-Haul and auto-transport trailer and having the comfort of all of our belongings being behind a gate gave us a lot of comfort and allowed us to rest easy for the rest of our trip! House was very clean and had everything we needed for the evening! Amenities were fantastic, especially the hot tub around back, which we used to relax and recharge! We would definitely stay again if we found ourselves back in the area!

We love this place! We were only able to stay here one night and wish it could have been longer!! Beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. It has a private back yard with nice outdoor seating and even a hot tub! On-site parking was a plus, and it is located less than a ten minute drive to the airport (where we were headed the next morning). Just great!! Highly recommend!!!

Safe and superb. Great hot tub and felt like a retreat right in the heart of the city. About 20 steps from the Rio Grande River trail system for hiking, walking, biking, and down the street from the zoo, botanical garden, Sawmill district, museums, and downtown. Great responsive hosts as well. Recommended!

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at this wonderful property when we came to town to visit the zoo and the natural history museum. The property is convenient, spotless, adorable and we felt safe. The hosts thought if everything we might need and were very responsive.

Very nicely furbished home with cool amenities! The only item to look into - - in one of the bedrooms, the bed is very squeaky - - may need a new mattress! It's the room towards the back of the home.

I highly recommend staying at Jon and Kendra’s Prickly Pear location - or any of their other properties. This place was nicely furnished and had every amenity you can imagine. It was very clean. We didn’t use the hot tub but it sure looked inviting. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. Hosts responded quickly each time I had a question. The property felt very safe. Plenty of off street parking. The location is close to downtown with excellent restaurants. Also a manicured trail is at the end of the block if you’re into hiking or biking. The zoo and botanical garden are also just a short distance. This place will not disappoint. I would definitely go again.

This is a great little property with charm and amenities. We enjoyed the thoughtful decorations, the hot tub, the kitchen, and lounging on the sofa. The hosts are lovely and very good communicators. If, like us, you wonder about ingredients, the bath products at the time of our visit were the brand Marula Soul. There were plenty of towels. Bathrobes provided were a nice touch and useful. The back yard area was lovely day and night. We enjoyed the custom art mural. This property seems to have a number of vacation rental units all around each other, presumably owned by the same people. Our neighbors were always courteous. If you're a light sleeper, choose the master bedroom to avoid being woken by other guests dogs or street noises.

Stayed 1 night while traveling with a pet. The house is very quiet despite being in a busy neighborhood. Did not hear any traffic or neighbors which made for a restful night. We enjoyed our stay at Prickly Pear. The place was very clean and had nice amenities that other properties sometimes don't offer (like snacks at arrival, robes for the hot tub, waters in the fridge). The owners were very helpful and quick to answer any questions and checked in through email to make sure we had everything we needed.

I picked this property because I had a short stay with a car full of gear for a family vacation. I drove and other family members flew in to Albuquerque. I didn't want to unload the entire car and this property had secure parking behind a gate on the street, which was my main reason fro choosing it. Besides the secure parking, the 2 bedroom rental was perfect for me and my son-in-law who also had a truck full of gear. The hot tub came in handy after the 12 hour drive from Texas to Albuquerque. Communication with Jon was superb. He answered every question very promptly and made the stay enjoyable from booking to leaving. I highly recommend this unit!

I didn't want to unload the entire car and this property had secure parking behind a gate on the street, which was my main reason fro choosing it. Besides the secure parking, the 2 bedroom rental was perfect for me and my son-in-law who also had a truck full of gear. The hot tub came in handy after the 12 hour drive from Texas to Albuquerque. Communication with Jon was superb. He answered every question very promptly and made the stay enjoyable from booking to leaving. I highly recommend this unit!

About 20 steps from the Rio Grande River trail system for hiking, walking, biking, and down the street from the zoo, botanical garden, Sawmill district, museums, and downtown. Great responsive hosts as well. Recommended!

The home is in a central area that is convenient for almost every activity. There is a wonderful jogging/biking path that runs the length of the Rio Grande right next door—a great space for our pooch, too! There are security gates and helpful remote controls, and communicating with the owner was quick and helpful. A great hot tub on a very cold evening. The price point and no extra dog charge was an added bonus.

We were in Albuquerque for a conference at the Convention Center which was only quick drive away. There is a bit of noise from the road at night-white noise would help a lot! Jon was super responsive and a great host. We really enjoyed all the little touches and decor and would definitely stay here again.

The check-in process was super easy and the house was extremely clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was close to attractions such as the zoo, botanical gardens and aquarium. The neighborhood is mixed income.

We loved this house! The location was great, right next to a park with a lot of trails and events in early December. The house has everything we needed for a 4 day stay, including a designated parking spot for our rental car and a hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at this wonderful property when we came to town to visit the zoo and the natural history museum. The property is convenient, spotless, adorable and we felt safe. The hosts thought if everything we might need and were very responsive.

The home is excellent. Wonderful touches throughout. Used the hot tub every night. Home was very comfortable and perfect. Walking distance to the zoo and park was excellent. The surround neighborhood is pretty rough as far as some concerning seediness but that seems to just be how the biopark area is. The motorized gate at the entrance kept us feeling safe. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here.

This was a great place to stay and explore the area. We enjoyed the hot tub and arcade games. Also it was easy to get to the walking trails along the river during the day.
