This hotel was the epitome of luxury. The service was amazing as all of the staff was kind and attentive our whole stay. Valet was so convenient and made our trip easier. The hotel itself smelled like a spa and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was included and it was all made fresh. This will be our go to hotel for all of our future stays I loved it to say the least!

We arrived a little bit before 15:00 but they accept to check in. The room is very clean and had a good time. The rocation is very near by Catedral. Unfortunately,even though there are only four or five customers but we can’t reserve spa service.

The hotel itself had small shops on the ground floor, the rooms are keycard access only, no one without a keycard can access the rooms. It’s a beautiful place. The spa was very hard to make an appointment with, need more staff there! Definitely would’ve loved to try if appointments were available. What a fabulous hotel. New, clean, modern - top spec facilities (electric curtains, top spec nespresso, spa - which we didn’t get the chance to use). Very friendly staff. Breakfast was superb - and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, on Sunday there was live music for a brilliant brunch vibe. We also ate one evening at the restaurant (Alba & Celeste - same place as breakfast) and can highly recommend it. Overall just 10 out of 10. We had a brilliant stay at this lovely hotel.

This a beautiful hotel, it’s so close to Guadalajara’s cathedral, teatro Degollado and a that Guadalajara city center has to offer. Walking distance to a lot of things to see and do. At night, not so much but it’s ok. Staff is so attentive, restaurant food is great so are the drinks at the bar. Beautiful art displayed all over the hotel. Have stayed here many times will stay again.

Muy bonita terraza, el personal es super amable, serviciales, la alimentos a la hora de la comida esta ok, pero el desayuno esta muy bueno. Lo que no nos gusto es que si llegas en auto es complicado, no tienen un espacio donde estacionarte comodamente, tienes que bloquear la calle para poder bajar con tu equipaje y es una calle bastante transitada.

As I think I've said before (this was my third visit), I really love this place, and the staff as well. I initially chose it because of its location, but it's super clean (pristine, even), the rooms are nice, the food at the restaurant is really good, there's a coffee place downstairs...it's really, really nice. I'll be back.

Este hotel me sorprendió es pequeño pero muy cómodo , agradable , limpio , habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas, estás a unos pasos del centro de Guadalajara, yo siempre me fijo cuando llego a un hotel y lo califico en limpieza viendo cómo está su baño y este está impecable . Felicidades por que tienen un buen personal de limpieza

Locating the hotel was a bit of a challenge because it’s tucked away and signage to the hotel is not easily visible. You’ll see some cones in front of the hotel that is where you’ll stop and be greeted by hotel staff who will take your vehicle. This is a diamond in the rough. Staff was amazing, super helpful. Nothing but high-level compliments for them. The facilities were spectacular. Rooms were very clean and again, the service is amazing!

Very helpful staff. Great room and super quiet (double-glazed windows very efficient). The restaurant is great value for a city restaurant and the food delicious. Breakfast ( included in our stay) was the “full Mexican” - not just a cup of coffee and a piece of bread. Loved this place and will definitely recommend. Hope to return soon!

The hotel is very new and everything is very modern. The room was spacious with in room nespresso, large well appointed bathroom, phone controlled in-room safety deposit boxes and very nice linens. The staff was very helpful and the drinks at the bar were good. Great location, five minute walk to the cathedral.

Lovely hotel, staff, and food. There was a very strong scent when entering secured stairway to rooms. The hotel room was very modern and clean. The bathroom was luxurious and bed was comfortable. My biggest complaint was that there is a fire alarm right above the bed that emitted neon green light through out the room. Bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to that kind of thing. Other than that, the hotel is wonderful.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff and very clean. So much to do in a 5 min walking distance with good food all around. The breakfast was really good too. Id have givel 5 stars except since we stayed in August it was still pretty warm out and our ac unit in the room could not cool the room fast enough. Im pretty hot natured so it was uncomfortable for me. A cold shower before bed helped. Over all I would stay again just maybe not in the warmer months.

The location is good in the historic center. From prior reviews I did think there would be more staff presence around since it said a lot of “boutique” comments, but it’s tough perhaps bc of the way the property is laid out. The lobby is on a main level with many shops. You traverse the building and do staircases or elevator to get to your room. The whole hotel is not “contained” the way you normally envision. You walk through the restaurant courtyard to also get to some rooms. However they do have security guards at the entrances. Only downside to the room was that the king bed is not a true king. It is a short king. A 6 foot man will have feet hanging off the edge so we had to sleep diagonal. The room width is small so they probably had to do that to fit the bed but they really should advertise it isn’t a true king that you are paying for. Additionally bed in the Sencilla king room was very hard like laying on a hard surface. Unbelievably so for 2 nights. I got used to it on the 4th night. Idk if all beds there are like this. Pleasant surprises were that the breakfast was great for being an included hotel brekky. Best if you speak some Spanish here or can manage well. People are very nice but sparse presence at times.

I truly loved my stay at this hotel. The best part was the staff and the service they provided for me and my family. I will say the hotel is located in the city center so there weren’t too many true authentic food options nearby, but definitely lots to go look at and walk around by.

Names of rooms were different than the ones advertised with Hotels.com. They said they were and instead of giving us the room we selected, they gave us a standard room. We chose an upgrade and were not given one. When we asked for the upgrade, they indicated it would be an additional $300! Very rude staff member and was unwilling to work with us. Staff in dining area and bar were amazingly helpful and friendly. If it weren’t for them we would not have enjoyed our stay.

The entire staff was so helpful and kind. Concierge was able to coordinate travel to and from the airport. Miguel provided us with an exceptional dining experience and had amazing recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Guadalajara and a large part of it was because of the hotel accommodations we received. We will definitely be booking another stay here in the future.

Origen 438 was a delight. The staff was caring, thoughtful, kind, and professional. The property is meticulously maintained - immaculately clean and fresh. The dining at Alba & Celeste is a joy ~ the food is delicious and artfully presented. The rooms are large and the beds and linens offer a great might’s sleep. As a woman traveling alone, I was a little apprehensive of exploring Guadalajara. But Origen 438 was the perfect place for me. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the staff was friendly. Location was perfect, I felt safe and could walk or uber to everything I wanted to see. Next time I’m in Guadalajara I will definitely stay here again!

Everything at this property was exceptional! I’ve not experienced excellence in service for years and they provided amazing customer service. The area is not the best but the hotel is secure and safe. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Hige modern rooms. The staff was very friendly and the food was good not to mention free gourmet/traditional breakfast daily and one free welcome drink. Very upscale esthetic vibes. It's also like 5 minutes walk to the cathedral where there are various food options to choose from. I'll definitely be staying there again.

Very helpful staff. Great room and super quiet (double-glazed windows very efficient). The restaurant is great value for a city restaurant and the food delicious. Breakfast ( included in our stay) was the “full Mexican” - not just a cup of coffee and a piece of bread. Loved this place and will definitely recommend. Hope to return soon!

We loved this hotel, everyone that worked there made us feel like home, breakfast was delicious, made to order fresh made bread, we also had dinner at their restaurant and the waiters were so nice and friendly, food wad amazing, the hotel was very clean and modern, they had fresh and beautiful flowers, the hotel was small but perfect, it was very well designed, they had beautiful art everywhere, I would recommend this hotel to all my friends, Thank you so much to all the staff: Josue, David, Jose, Arturo, Abraham, I'm sorry if I missed someone, GRACIAS, we will definitely stayed there again if we visit Guadalajara again.

My husband, our best friends and I stayed there four nights for my 60th birthday, since the moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, my husband and I stayed at one of the junior suites and we loved it. The hotel is very quiet, the restaurant/ bar was great. It’s perfectly located within walking distance to Cathedral and more points of interest, we’ll definitely recommend it and stay there again.
