Amazing. When in India I normally stay at the Oberoi, Leela, Taj or Trident however on this occasion I had read the positive reviews of Parallel and decided to check it out. I am so impressed - the rooms are impeccable, service excellent and the hotel is located in a great neighbourhood of the city. Breakfast is great and the roof top bar is excellent - always busy and I can see why as the food and service are both great. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

We had a poor experience at the rooftop sky bar. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We received our drinks after our dinner arrived. This is after asking several servers to check on our drink ordrs. We did not order anything compllicated! My husband ordered a bottle of beer and I ordered a glass of wine. When we brought that to the manager's attention, her response was " Sorry Ma'am". That was it !!! On the positive note, we got the best massage in the spa. Shoutout to Jyoti. She was amazing!

The Parallel Hotel is a cozy, stylish and serene oasis in Udaipur with refined decor, stunning hill and lake views, two excellent restaurants serving all-vegetarian cuisine, a thoughtfully designed gym and courteous staff throughout the establishment who are attentive to every detail. Room is clean but a bit small. Great view of the lake from the restaurant top of building. Close to various attractions. Walls are quite thin, as we can hear doorbell from next door and keep mistakenly think that door bell was for our room.

If there were more than 5 stars to rate this place – I'd use them. We've travelled extensively around the world, and our stay here is among the best accommodation experiences we've had anywhere. The room we had on the 8th floor and the public spaces are meticulously designed. Everything is very clean. Breakfast was good (not a huge selection, vegetarian, no eggs, but the limited range they do serve is excellent), and there's a lovely roof bar and restaurant. But above all, the staff are very accommodating, welcoming and go out of their way to be of service. For example, we asked a front desk agent to translate for us into Hindi a thank you note we had written in English for our driver of 10 days. We left it with her while we went out for the day, and were delighted with the result when we got back. She put such effort into it! She had drawn straight lines on the blank page, written out the thank you note in beautiful handwriting using several colors, and added a cute smiling heart doodle on the envelope (see pictures). She then declined a tip we offered her for her efforts. We used the large jacuzzi in the spa and my wife also had a massage. The spa is beautiful, professionally run and a great experience. So, bottom line, we highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

It is a business Hotel that is located on a busy highway with not much shops or restaurants around and not suitable if you wish to walk outside. I have been to Udaipur several times, tried many different hotels at varying price points and always come back disappointed. So far, this hotel has been the best find and very comfortable! Unfortunately, I have noticed even big brand name hotels in this city fail to properly train their staff, but the staff at Parallel were nothing but polite and helpful at all times. Shout out to the person doing the training! Absolutely worth the price point - the room view is beautiful and hotel is at quick driving distance from a gorgeous lake. Only thing I would like to point out is that the room is a bit cramped for two people, but other than that this place is a solid 10/10.

First of all, front desk Check in was very slow. The bags (that were left downstairs with the concierge) took a long time to reach the room. However, the worst aspect was that we had noise coming up with moving of chairs above our floor at the restaurant till 2 am ! We just could not sleep the whole night as some folks started moving the chairs again by 5.30 am ! Worst experience that we have had amidst hundreds of hotel nights around the world. First of all, front desk Check in was very slow. The bags (that were left downstairs with the concierge) took a long time to reach the room. However, the worst aspect was that we had noise coming up with moving of chairs above our floor at the restaurant till 2 am ! If there were more than 5 stars to rate this place – I'd use them. We've travelled extensively around the world, and our stay here is among the best accommodation experiences we've had anywhere. The room we had on the 8th floor and the public spaces are meticulously designed. Everything is very clean. Breakfast was good (not a huge selection, vegetarian, no eggs, but the limited range they do serve is excellent), and there's a lovely roof bar and restaurant. But above all, the staff are very accommodating, welcoming and go out of their way to be of service. For example, we asked a front desk agent to translate for us into Hindi a thank you note we had written in English for our driver of 10 days. We left it with her while we went out for the day, and were delighted with the result when we got back. She put such effort into it! She had drawn straight lines on the blank page, written out the thank you note in beautiful handwriting using several colors, and added a cute smiling heart doodle on the envelope (see pictures). She then declined a tip we offered her for her efforts. We used the large jacuzzi in the spa and my wife also had a massage. The spa is beautiful, professionally run and a great experience. So, bottom line, we highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Amazing. When in India I normally stay at the Oberoi, Leela, Taj or Trident however on this occasion I had read the positive reviews of Parallel and decided to check it out. I am so impressed - the rooms are impeccable, service excellent and the hotel is located in a great neighbourhood of the city. Breakfast is great and the roof top bar is excellent - always busy and I can see why as the food and service are both great. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Room is clean but a bit small. Great view of the lake from the restaurant top of building. Close to various attractions. Walls are quite thin, as we can hear doorbell from next door and keep mistakenly think that door bell was for our room.

One of the best property we stayed in while on tour of Rajasthan. Staff were excellent, very prompt to assist..very good location and convenient as well.. recommend highly this property if you are in Udaipur. Fateh Sagar lake on walkable distance so we had a evening walk. 800mtr waking distance from hotel.

We had a poor experience at the rooftop sky bar. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We received our drinks after our dinner arrived. This is after asking several servers to check on our drink ordrs. We did not order anything compllicated! My husband ordered a bottle of beer and I ordered a glass of wine. When we brought that to the manager's attention, her response was " Sorry Ma'am". That was it !!! On the positive note, we got the best massage in the spa. Shoutout to Jyoti. She was amazing!

I booked the Parallel last minute since I was not happy with the hotel that was booked by the travel tour. The Parallel is in a good location, quiet for a good night rest/sleep. the room was clean, modern aesthetic. Nice bed/beddings, I had a good restful sleep. My room was on the 7th floor and I had view of mountain, lake and the surrounding neighborhood. Staff was very helpful, friendly, shout out to Raythm who was very helpful. Breakfast is included (in my booking), all vegan (plus eggs and continental), the buffet spread had many options, fresh fruits, Indian vegan breakfast spread, omelet, pastries, yogurt... very healthy and tasty!. the breakfast space is on the 10th floor with sweeping view of the lake, mountain and Udaipur. the price was very reasonable, very affordable; a similar hotel like the Parallel anywhere in the west would cost 3-5 times more... overall, I am very happy with the parallel, highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the staff were excellent. I am a foreigner and suffered a medical emergency while in the hotel, the staff was excellent at helping us with our needs. I would 100 percent recommend staying here.
