Great rooms clean and good prices. The only small negatives were the cold swimming pool, the noisy room air conditioner and the not so good breakfast. Otherwise I would more than likely stay here again. Just get the pool heater fixed and the room AC noise fixed and get some better eggs and sausage and biscuits.

Very clean. I liked the contemporary design. The breakfast was good and having actual silverware and coffee cups was a nice surprise. The pool was nice and the access to the outdoor seating was great. Having a recycle bin in the room was a welcome surprise and an actual thermostat was terrific. Loved the outside sitting area.

Loved it for my family for the week. The kitchen and full size refrigerator was amazing. The pool was clean and not busy at all. We were in the 5th floor. It was very quiet.

I cannot say enough about the staff at this property. Everyone I ran into during my stay was exceptionally friendly and polite. The property is also the most pet friendly of anywhere I have stayed. Other properties say they are pet friendly but charge a ridiculous fee on top of the price of your reservation. I wouldn't mind if it was a deposit in case of damages but typically it is an additional fee you do not get back. The pet area was nicely maintained and there were bags available to use as well as a trash can. My room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. I travel to this area several times a year and will definitely make sure to always book a room at Home2Suites!

We chose this property because it was across the street from zBowling Green University football stadium where we were going to watch the solar eclipse. Many restaurants in walking distance. Many patrons even just stayed in the hotel parking lot to watch. Afterwards we enjoyed the indoor pool which wasn't bone chilling cold!

Good location near the highway. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Pool water was very cloudy and wouldn’t let my kids swim in it.

The Home2 Suites in Bowling Green, OH was a pleasant surprise. I experienced a nice & immaculately clean hotel with very comfortable, contemporary accomodations and an excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The sheets had a burnt smell to them, terrible breakfast selection (squeeze butter is sad), no fruit, carpet in room torn and dirty. Outdated room. The staff was very nice.

Our biggest concern was visibly, very dirty sheets on the pullout bed when we went to get our kids settled in. Brought photos down to the front desk and she replied “that’s weird” and got us fresh sheets. I would have appreciated at least feigned outrage or some semblance of an apology to find a dirty bed at the end of a long day.

We had a very nice stay at Home 2 Suites in Bowling Green! The room and public areas were very clean. The breakfast had everything anyone would want. Staff was friendly and would defiantly stay here again!

I had booked another hotel down the road, but on the wrong day. So, I was able to book here last minute. The suite rate was cheaper than the hotel down the street. The room was EXTREMELY spacious and comfortable. We came for a college visit. Everything was nearby. Walmart was down the street and there were gas stations and restaurants nearby. It was a very nice hotel with all of the needed amenities. There is nothing that I would have changed. I would definitely recommend and stay again. They had a pool that looked like it had a film, but we asked why and went and took a look We found a sign that said, "Home2 Suites by Hilton maintains saline pools, which are chlorine and chemical-free. This approach is beneficial for the guest and the environment." That was pretty awesome! Such a nice stay!

The accommodations were clean, the attention to detail with items on hand was great, the design of the suite was perfect for remote working, relaxation and preparing meals. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only complaint I personally had was due to my own preferences- the mattress was too firm and made for a difficult night of sleep.

Appears property is fairly new. Rooms are really nice and our suite had a full kitchen set up and full size fridge and dishwasher. Very comfortable and quiet. Will stay here again.

Overall, the stay was good. Our room smelled like a combo of wet dog and musty feet, though. Everything was clean in the room and throughout the hotel. The odor was a little off putting, though.

The rooms are well laid out - plenty of flat space to put everything. Especially liked the drawers in the bathroom. So much easier than piling everything on top of the bathroom sink counter. The kitchen was adequately equipped too, had everything I needed.

The bathroom was out of tissues, out of conditioner and the ac was barely working even though the outside temp was close to the inside temp. Felt like it was 75 or more degrees and the thermostat only showed you what the temp was set on so you couldn't see if the temp was actually coming down. Staff was very friendly, morning breakfast was great, very clean place and despite the ac problem and the other minor things I would definitely stay here again.

I picked this hotel because it’s across from BGSU for a college visit on Presidents Weekend. The person checking us in seemed inconvenienced every time I spoke to her as she was trying to eat at a table next to the front desk. When we checked in, she offered no information about the hotel. When we got to our room, there were no blankets for the pull out couch. I went downstairs and the front desk person didn’t get up from where she was eating but told me they were out and she was waiting for some. She didn’t know when they would be here. This was around 7:15. I came back down again around 8:00 because the bedroom was freezing. I had it set to 80 to try and get the heat kicked on, she said to make sure the fire symbol was showing and the heat should come on. I asked again about blankets. She said she still had none. I checked the thermostat and the heat symbol was showing. I had my daughter go down at 9:30 to ask again about the blankets because I was tired of dealing with the front desk person. We finally got blankets. My room never got above 61 degrees the whole stay. I will be staying at another hotel if my daughter chooses to go to BGSU when I come visit.

Had to wait for someone to appear at the desk to check in. Room was clean, but the pillow smelled strongly of some old man sweat. Although told cold breakfast would not be available before 7am, it was. Why was that not known? Also, no weather info or channel on t.v.

Ok so there was an ice storm the day before I checked in and it knocked out the computer system, therefore no room keys were able to be given out. The poor guy at the desk had to check in one person at a time, go with them to there room to let them in and then run back down to the front desk to take care of the next customer. Where was the manager? or some other help? When they did finally run my credit card I was over charged $40.00 for the room with no key until after 11:00pm. I felt really bad for the employee at the desk, he was doing a great job.

Got there our room was not ready check in was 3pm checked in at 430pm. Had to get switched to a different room last minute. Overall stay was good.

Great location, right across the street from the Bowling Green State University campus close to downtown Bowling Green and all the amenities that are offered in that area rooms are clean with comfortable beds updated bathrooms, which day again if in the area

Great new hotel in area. Watch out for road construction in front of hotel. Trying to get back to hotel after dinner out very difficult.

We were picking our daughter up from Bowling Green the next morning. Perfect location next to campus, nice Mexican restaurant next door. Clean and quiet for our stay.

Great location that’s just off the highway but also quiet and close to BGSU. We enjoyed the pool after 6 hours in the car.

No shade trees but 2 nice patio areas you could use if you could stand the heat outside. Breakfast just so-so, bland tasting muffins & eggs dark (brown & crispy) every morning. Not sure what kind of waffle mix they use but it was not good. The coffee was good the first morning but each day after it seemed to get worse-like it had been sitting a long time or maybe the water used to make it was from the tap (?). I saw that another reviewer had complained about the “dog smell” in the rooms. Being a pet lover I tried to keep an open mind but the first night it was kinda strong-especially when we opened the pull out bed from the couch! I didn’t know if I was going to be able to put up with the smell but it did seem to dissipate after the first night. I totally agree that there should be designated rooms for guests with pets, It’s just not fair to other guests to have to put up with a room that smells like animals. Staff were polite & helpful & the place was mostly clean but the couch in the room had some stains & could have used a good shampooing or steam cleaning, maybe that would have helped the smell in the room. Overall not a bad place but I don’t know if I would stay again due to the room smell & the unappealing breakfast.

Breakfast menu was limited, not as advertised. The bed was uncomfortable, there were stains on the bed cover, and the room smelled musty. Housekeeping never refilled toilet paper roll.

I loved how modern and clean everything looked. Check in and check out was an easy process. The only thing that I didn’t like was the breakfast. The food quality was not the best, and I wish there were more fresh cut fruit options.

The hotel was beautiful, although they oversold their king suites and downgraded me to a queen but didn't fix the price. Which is around $40.00 differance.

We had an awful experience during aa short stay at this Home2 by Hilton We checked in at 1 pm. At around 11:30 at night, another guest opened the door and was ready to enter the room with an electronic key, which scared my fiancée and myself to death. I went to front desk with the other guest. The staff at the desk was nice but had a hard time to figure out what happened and how to fix it considering the room was checked in under other guess name in the system and all rooms were booked. After a length wait, she managed to find an unoccupied room and switch him to that room with a full refund and apology. However she still couldn’t figure out how to check me in the room that we were supposed to have been checked into in the afternoon. My room keys were not working anymore. She tried another hour without any resolution and decided to call their manager. They were working on speak phone for a length time too and eventually found a way to make couple new room keys for me. When I asked the staff if I get a refund like what the other guest received from them, the staff responded “of course”. At that time I heard the manager screaming on speak phone something like no, why we give him a refund if he doesn’t move out here? That made my already awful feeling about this stay much more terrible. Although the staff did promise a refund in the end, we had a horrific late night experience with the stay at Home2 in Bowling Green. We will never use Hilton again for our travel needs.
