Struttura storica in una delle vie principali del centro di Oxford. Pulizia eccellente. Camera molto spaziosa e ben mantenuta. Personale molto disponibile. Essendo un edificio storico purtroppo non era presente l’aria condizionata ma visto il caldo da record di questi giorni, la camera è stata fornita di un condizionatore portatile che mi ha “salvato” la vita anche se purtroppo era terribilmente rumoroso! Sicuramente ci ritornerò ma in un’altra stagione!
Struttura storica in una delle vie principali del centro di Oxford. Pulizia eccellente. Camera molto spaziosa e ben mantenuta. Personale molto disponibile. Essendo un edificio storico purtroppo non era presente l’aria condizionata ma visto il caldo da record di questi giorni, la camera è stata fornita di un condizionatore portatile che mi ha “salvato” la vita anche se purtroppo era terribilmente rumoroso! Sicuramente ci ritornerò ma in un’altra stagione!

Hotel was lovely. High ceilings, spotlessly clean, helpful staff and in an amazing spot for visiting Oxford. Really central, right opposite Balliol and Trinity Colleges and a quick walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Our only issue was the benches outside the property meant that large groups of young adults congregated until really late and as we were in the front lowest room just above the front door and opposite reception and there are two very large single glazed windows it felt like they were all in the room with us! I actually got up to check the windows were shut!! We don’t go to sleep particularly early but it was really very noisy from about 11- 12.30am and then again about 2am. Then at 5.30am the world’s loudest refuse truck and workers made their way across the road at the front of the hotel We had to get up at 7 so we were both rather bleary eyed! It wouldn’t put me off staying at the hotel again as everything else was wonderful but I wouldn’t want to stay in a front of hotel room - even though the view is lovely unless some additional glazing was added to provide at least some soundproofing to the room. Theo’s cafe downstairs was absolutely perfect and the 10% off was very welcomed as was the strong Greek coffee.
