The Evergreen Hotel

Vi kom sent, incheckningen slutar 23, men ringde och meddelade och möttes av en trevlig person som sa att det var inga bekymmer. Rent, men lite gammalt och nära motorvägen. Dock hördes det inte in. Prisvärt flr en övernattning!

Beautiful welcoming couple to Evergreen....Our room was comfortable and clean....they couldn't do enough for us... Breakfast daily ...and dinner was yummy....Asian pasta for us.... It is a bit out of the way....however we were happy to not be in the thick of the traffic.....Grounds need a tidy up...however the dry summer has contributed to that.....All in all a great stay

Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience.

Stayed one night to go to F1 at Silverstone. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and let us book a taxi to/from Banbury Train Station (£6 there are back) so we could then take a bus to Silverstone. The hotel was nicely decorated and was very spacious. It is next to a country lane/A road so you can hear traffic, but it's not loud enough to be a nuisance. The room was a decent size, two twin beds, a small bathroom, a small table, chair and wardrobe. There was a bag of shower gel/shampoo on the beds which was a very nice touch and slippers were also provided. The bathroom was very small, we basically had to step over the toilet to get to the sink and the toilet was very close to the shower as well. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of food with fruits and yoghurt on the side if you wanted it. Overall I would recommend it for anyone going to the F1 or having a long weekend in Banbury.
