Super clean place. Had a fully stocked kitchen as far as pots, bowls, plates, strainers etc... Even a 2 plate stove. Stand up shower. Water pressure was a tad low. Staff were super nice. Everyone greets you. Ice machine on every floor. Free HBO Max. Convenient spot next to a few food places and the hospital.

We only stayed one night. Nonetheless, the experience overall was very pleasing. The facility is only a couple years old; therefore, it still has a new smell and is kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was able to check in 30 mins early - therefore it fit our schedule perfectly (didn’t have to wait to check in). They truly are pet friendly as our two toy poodles 🐩 had no problem staying there. Elevators are modern and clean. Hallway was quiet, and the room seemed well insulated and sound proof (I only heard a little bit of walking from the room above, but it sounded distant.) The room exceeded what I expected; it was like staying in a studio apartment. Bathroom is big for a hotel. The shower is modern and big. Everything we needed for cooking (utensils, pots, pans, etc) was stocked. The king-size bed is comfortable. My mother-in-law said the pullout bed was also comfortable. Overall, I have no major complaints. MY ONE “CON” (and really I’m nit-picking) is that the free breakfast could have been better; it’s just your typical continental breakfast and nothing special but it wasn’t terrible. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in West Columbia.

The property itself was clean and well kept up. The staff was helpful and nice. The weight room was one of the better ones I've used at a hotel property. Restaurants were within walking distance and easy access to the interstate. Would book again if in the area.

The property is eady to get to and has good food choices nearby. The outside sitting area by the fire pit leaves a lot to be desired. They need to clean that up. Gym was good. Breakfast is mediocre.

I’ve seen other reviews that were negative for this establishment, which scared me after I booked. I found some of them to be ridiculous, the staff during our 5 day stay were very nice. My room was nice as well. The building where I did go was clean. I didn’t get to use the pool as we were there visiting family, it looked clean and useable. The gym and common area was as well. We will book with them again in the future. We truly did enjoy our stay.

The hotel staff was very nice. The room was very small and we had to have the refrigerator replace. The bed linens had to be changed and the bathroom was nor scrubbed. Thw stafff was apologetic and rectified the situations. The tv was also not working. I would say it was not a great value since I didn't pick the least expensive room. They made a regular size room a studio suite so it was tiny.

We checked into our room around 4 pm and got the room type we requested. We were not in the room long before we noticed that that the room was unfit to be occupied. The hot water in the bathroom sink had been turned off at the connection valve because it leaked badly. The toilet was badly clogged and could not be used. The shower drain was clogged to where water would pile up around your ankles while showering. In addition, the room had no luggage racks or any means to set up luggage, so we had to use the dining table. The icemaker in the fridge was not operable. We advised the staff, but all they said was "sorry." No offer to give us a different room, no offer for compensation, nothing. They did offer us the use of the bathroom down the hall during our stay, which we used, but that was hardly our intent when we paid for the room. Our advice to anyone is to avoid this place, as maintenance is poor and so was the customer service.

The faucet in the bathroom sink was very loose & wobbly and had to be held with one hand to keep it stable while adjusting the hot, cold water. I reported it to the lady who checked me out to have it fixed for the next people who stay in 201.

Property was nice. Rooms were nice. Staff seemed nice but a bit un attentive at times. Told me they would notify me if anyone turned in my lost glasses and they didn’t. Had to go by 3 times and almost didn’t get them back. Breakfast was good. Lobby was nice.

I booked this trip in early February for May graduation stay over. I’ve asked a crib upon booking and they were confirmed to put a crib in the room. However, when I entered the room, the crib was not there and they could not find a crib for me either. I arrived late so I did not have any energy to find another hotel. If I know that they could not provide the crib, I would go ahead to book a different hotel. Poor management service. (They said the room was upgraded to king size, but the whole space was much smaller.)

Unique: very quiet. That being said - I used the men\'s public restroom in the lobby, found that the toilet was literally broken, took this issue to the front desk and was told, "Yes, we know. We\'re going to put a sign on the door." Yep - that\'s the leadership. Adios.

Never have i had to have my lady be the one for checkin before. I had her id and credit card. She was walking our dog. Also next day manager yelled at us about our dog barking at children from baseball team meeting there, he protects his mother and he is certified support animal, the children lots of them running out door looking like they coming towards his mother. Not good. Yes we were putside sitting. Wanted to tell her off at 10 am. His barking she says was dusturbing sleeping people. Nothing about running children. Highly disappointed. Breakfast terrible. Good thing there was a bojangles and dunkin across lot.

The property was clean, quiet, some of the front desk services was very polite, like Cassidy was knowledge about my questions, Nicole was very friendly & sweet, as for the rest not friendly at all there was one front desk person that I don't know if she was the manager but while I was talking to Nicole she butt in & stated to me that is not what I ask you, I just wanted to tell her a thing or two but I was not going to let her spoil my vacation, as for the cleaning services I understood regarding the bed changes but I had to tell the front desks person every day to make sure my bed was MADE, clean towels, small soaps because I did not used the bottles they had & at the end of the 7 days towels were give less it doesn't matter if I came alone or not the room was reserved for two people plus I was leaving out once or twice a day & it was very hot in South Carolina so I needed to shower up for the next vist out, so improve on the front desk people service because they are the first impression of the TownPlace Suites. Thank you.

The property was clean, quiet, some of the front desk services was very polite, like Cassidy was knowledge about my questions, Nicole was very friendly & sweet, as for the rest not friendly at all there was one front desk person that I don't know if she was the manager but while I was talking to Nicole she butt in & stated to me that is not what I ask you, I just wanted to tell her a thing or two but I was not going to let her spoil my vacation, as for the cleaning services I understood regarding the bed changes but I had to tell the front desks person every day to make sure my bed was MADE, clean towels, small soaps because I did not used the bottles they had & at the end of the 7 days towels were give less it doesn't matter if I came alone or not the room was reserved for two people plus I was leaving out once or twice a day & it was very hot in South Carolina so I needed to shower up for the next vist out, so improve on the front desk people service because they are the first impression of the TownPlace Suites. Thank you.

This hotel was clean and safe. It was a short drive from downtown Columbia, SC. There are public parking garages for you to park when you visit downtown. I enjoyed the suite and if I were to go back to SC, I would choose this hotel again.

The property itself was clean and well kept up. The staff was helpful and nice. The weight room was one of the better ones I've used at a hotel property. Restaurants were within walking distance and easy access to the interstate. Would book again if in the area.

Good breakfast but they ran out of napkins and no substitute- we were there early too. Seems some paper towels or the like could’ve been brought out. Otherwise we stay here often when traveling and have no issues.

The property is eady to get to and has good food choices nearby. The outside sitting area by the fire pit leaves a lot to be desired. They need to clean that up. Gym was good. Breakfast is mediocre.

The breakfast was horrible. Eggs looked and tasted like the kind that comes in a bag and you just boil the frozen block. Bacon was burned and should not have been served. The Oatmeal was runny and watery. The remaining breakfast products were packaged, even the waffles. The only item that was good was the coffee. Nice flavor and hot

Far better than the standard, I will stay here for all future trips. Similar priced hotels feel like a Time Machine back to 1986, but here I have all the modern day comforts. A no-brainer choice.

The second floor had a smell. The water pressure in sinks was as minimal. The shower pressure was great! The pool was nice! The mattresses were soft but okay. Staff was great! Breakfast was really good !

My family planned to stay there for one night, but needed to change to two nights. They told us everything was fine and that they'd be sure to keep our room since it was the only two queen beds left unreserved Skip to that night, and the room has been given to someone else. So, we lost the food we'd left in the fridge for that day's dinner. The other room didn't have enough beds, so we had to bunk out on a hard couch and roll out bed Okay. We'd suck it up to bad luck and make that work. Then after we'd left the following day they call telling me they never charged my card for the rooms. However, the morning when I asked them if we could stay an additional night, the gentleman behind the counter had closed it out and charged me. The manager was standing there when he did it. She told me they'd take care of everything. Then they were calling me back saying the card was never charged and I needed to give them my info again I finally got in touch with someone there (long story involving the toddler running away and me hanging up on someone accidentally), she knows nothing about it. THEN she calls me back asking for my card info. This time I give it, and then a short while later recall that they'd DEFINITELY charged my card for the first room. I call her back to figure it out, and she leaves me on hold and doesn't come back to the phone Overall. I truly enjoyed the first room -- it was perfect. But everything fell apart after that. I would not go there again
