The layout of the cabin is very nice and for the most part was very clean. The only downside we had was the volume of steps leading down to the lake; definitely not for the weak at heart. Would stay here again.

The house was perfect for two families of four on our annual ski trip. Minocqua Winter Park was an easy 10 minute drive. The house had communal space for everyone and separate spaces for the kids and grownups to have their own time. The sauna was great after long ski days and the foosball table got some use. We would happily stay here again.

Traveling with a toddler and infant is no easy feat, especially in the winter time, but with Michael’s amazing communication and impeccably clean and spacious cabin, it was the most perfect winter getaway we could have ever asked for. We arrived late evening and could hardly contain our excitement for the morning to see the lake outside the windows - and it did not disappoint. The views are breathtaking! The cabin was so spacious and had all the amenities we could have ever asked for. The sauna was an added bonus, a lovely end to a day of being outside at Winter Park. My toddler loved learning how to play foosball and tic-tac-toe! There was always something to do both inside and outside the cabin! Being so close to Winter Park allowed us to go back and forth several times a day! We absolutely plan to return one summer so we can enjoy all the summer activities and amenities Michael’s cabin has to offer! Thank you! A trip we will always remember. :)

The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean, ready to go. As a heads up, you do share the stairs down to the docks with the twin cabin that is next to you. Not a big deal for us at all. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock (launch is on Gunlock lake and you have a little, shallow, channel you'll need to go through to get to Shishebogama), which was super nice..

Great stay at a great place. A perfect fit for our family of 8. Plenty of room, nicely appointed, flexible space with a bit of fun--foosball and sauna are a nice tip in. Oh, and the view to the lake is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Three sisters w/ husbands stayed for a winter get-away weekend. The cabin is clean, has plenty of space inside for dining, playing games, watching TV -- it has all the comforts of home, and then some with the sauna! The view of the lake is beautiful even when covered with ice and snow. We would love to come back in the summertime to enjoy some swimming and fishing. The host was very accommodating with our check-in/check-out time as well. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Kitchen with island and living room are open and spacious and plenty of room for everyone ! Bathtub off of master bedroom was slick and no handle bars to hang on for getting in and out of tub. Outside behind the open pit fireplace is steep down to the lake and has no steps and very slick when it rains or wet ! Enjoyed the stay very much and will come back to this place !!!

We had a fantastic stay at this home on the lake. We have rented many places over the years that were nice but this was the cleanest and nicest place. I highly recommend this one and will be back.

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was very clean. There are a lot of extras included: plenty of pillows, sheets, and blankets; firewood; games, kayaks; etc. It felt like home (only in a better setting.)

This cabin is in a great location for cross-country skiers looking to ski at Minocqua Winter Park or any of the other local ski areas. It is also an easy drive to Minocqua. The property is clean and well-maintained. Our children loved the downstairs with the foosball table and the giant TV. It allowed them to escape the adults quite easily and have their own party.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is roomy, clean updated and well stocked with supplies. Only complaint is they said there was cable/sattlelight, not totally true. There is a smart tv, so if you have Hulu or YouTube, you’re set, otherwise no networks tv or sports. Would stay again. Would be a great place to stay with tweens/teens, nice basement space!!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was spotless clean, the kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfy, and the location was prime. We enjoyed the sauna every night of our stay. The convenience of only being 15 minutes away from down town has us enjoying the local restaurants and bars everyday. Finally the ability to go ice fishing right in our back yard was amazing. Highly recommend this cabin 10 out of 10 experience!

This cabin is in a great location for cross-country skiers looking to ski at Minocqua Winter Park or any of the other local ski areas. It is also an easy drive to Minocqua. The property is clean and well-maintained. Our children loved the downstairs with the foosball table and the giant TV. It allowed them to escape the adults quite easily and have their own party.

Beautiful cabin with everything you need to make your time relaxing. Michael was very prompt answering questions. I would highly recommend this property !!! Minocqua is just down the road if anything is needed.

The house was perfect for two families of four on our annual ski trip. Minocqua Winter Park was an easy 10 minute drive. The house had communal space for everyone and separate spaces for the kids and grownups to have their own time. The sauna was great after long ski days and the foosball table got some use. We would happily stay here again.

Fantastic getaway! Cabin was clean, roomy and beautiful location on the water! We would highly recommend this spot and hope to stay there on a future trip!!

This was a little slice of Heaven. We loved the lake access and enjoyed a bonfire. Beautiful scenery, and we really lucked out with the weather.

Beautiful lake cabin spot. We just wanted to get away for the weekend and it was awesome. Able to run into town quick as well! Great accommodations and Michael was phenomenal to communicate with. Will go back!
