The house was well supplied and plenty of towels and linens. The owners created very warm and cozy environment. It was lovely coming into a warm house from the cold weather.

My friend and I loved our stay. The house had so much character and was very well stocked which made it a very relaxing stay as well. The house is well placed for exploring the area - so many shops, museums, pubs, restaurants and, of course, beautiful countryside. We came to visit Chanticleer and Longwood Gardens and the house location was perfect for that. Only one minor comment: the house is very close to a major roadway. We heard heavy traffic during most of our stay. But I wouldn’t let that stop you because if you’re like us, you’re spending most of your time exploring in any case. And it was really nice sitting out on the patio after a long day of discovering this beautiful part of Pennsylvania.

This cottage is in a premium location, very thoughtfully equipped and with the additional benefit of an attentive host. The property description is accurate and should be read carefully: steps lead down to the cottage. It is a historical building with incredibly thick walls, offering great soundproofing. Some quirks in layout as mentioned by the host.

Just spent the weekend at this property for a girls trip with my mom and sister. The host was great with all necessary communication, was very quick to reply and the check in process was super simple. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay and more! All linens were provided, bathroom had shampoo/conditioner and soap. Tons of pillows and blankets, tv with streaming access. The house was super cute and perfect for 2 nights away. We enjoyed a few local wineries and while we planned to go to philly, the weather kept us back and we enjoyed a cozy night in watching movies. Beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of splace for what we needed. I highly recommend this for a weekend get away and we plan to book it again!

We were in town for a wedding nearby and this cozy cottage fit the bill for our needs. It's certainly a quirky little property, but that adds to the charm. Plenty of everything you would need for your stay.

Historic building, all the amenities. Enjoyed the deck. We ubered everywhere and used food delivery, no restaurants in safe walking distance (we did not have a car).

Ivana communicates well and promptly. The house is exactly like what the listing said. Cozy, well decorated and comfortable. The outdoor space is wonderful -- we got there late and were welcomed by two cute fawns. It is close to a busy road, so a sound machine is a must. But the outdoor space is isolated and away from the road (hence, the deer visits). Also, note that going behind the antique shop is a safer route when leaving the rental house. They have a pack-n-play and high chair. Beds are comfortable. We will definitely book this again next time we visit family.

The host always decorates in a fun, eclectic way that I enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Overall, the location is very close to many tourist destinations and only a short drive from the restaurants in the area.

Sweet little house near everything we came to see. Comfortable, quiet (despite the busy road!), has everything you need. I would suggest two things: Please either have a bath mat available or put some non-slip stickers in the tub. A grab bar would be nice too. We oldsters need help getting in and out of the tub. Rethink the very powerful aromatherapy plug-ins. Some of us are sensitive to perfumes.

Ivana was very accomodating and thoughtful of our specific needs. She even provided some wood for the fire pit so our family can enjoy an outdoor activity together. Clean, even had snacks and water available for us! Road noise wasn’t an issue probably due to air conditioner and fan background noise. You must appreciate.quirky historic homes to fully enjoy your stay, as it’s definitely an older home with older home/property attributes. Lovely experience overall

My childhood girlfriends and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was super cute and definitely cozy and very clean. Trying to get out of the driveway was a little tricky it was hard to see the traffic maybe a quick trim of the bushes will solve that and my girlfriend said her bed was quite squeaky. Other than that we really did enjoy our stay and would recommend this VRBO it’s close to everything. We ate at the Chadds Ford Tavern down the street. Highly recommend as well. It was delicious we all enjoyed it.

My two sisters and I enjoyed this mid-week stay in Chadds Ford. The rooms were as pictured online and as noted, this home is set back from, but on a major road. While a little noisy, that also means that it is very convenient to popular sites like Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine River Museum. As it was rainy, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the porch, though it looked inviting. Ivana was gracious, sending notes to ensure we were comfortable and all was well. The welcome sign, snacks, and neatly set kitchen table were lovely touches!

This location offers great access to Longwood Gardens and other cute spots in town. This location was super cute and very cozy. The only downsides to this spot was that the bedrooms are all in close proximity and the beds and pillows were firm. The host made sure our stay was welcome and kept good communication with us! I would recommend this location!

Beautiful and so cozy! Cottage was absolutely adorable. If you are taller than 6’ you might be a little squeezed, but those in the under-5’5” club thought the place was perfect. Just a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and the wedding venue we came into town for.

My three young children, my husband and I stayed at the Spring House to visit Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine area. Our kids loved the “coziness of the house” - in fact, my 8-year-old daughter said she would like to own it. The only issue I would note is that it is closer to the road than I would prefer, so you could hear traffic. It is very convenient to restaurants, cafés, and other sites.

This is our second time staying here for our girls trip. Each time I find myself wishing I could build a little cottage just like it back in Minnesota. The owner makes it all so easy and goes the extra mile to make us feel so special in our home away form home.

If you are looking for modern, sleek and trendy, this may not be for you. But! If you like cozy, warm and historical, then this is for you. Our family stayed here because of a wedding near by and it was a great place for our home base. It is nuzzled between an antique shop and the woods and nobody else around. It is some what close to the road but we never noticed it, even with my one child that has to have it absolutely quiet to go to sleep had no problem. We did experience a bit of a problem when we were there but the host acted quickly to remedied the situation and we were thankful. We loved the little things that they did such as decorating for Christmas, snacks, bottled water and the ever so needed hot chocolate coming in from the cold. There is many great thing to do and eat within a very short drive.Yes, we would come back again, especially near Christmas time. Safe travels, Cheers!

Tons of pillows and blankets, tv with streaming access. The house was super cute and perfect for 2 nights away. We enjoyed a few local wineries and while we planned to go to philly, the weather kept us back and we enjoyed a cozy night in watching movies. Beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of splace for what we needed. I highly recommend this for a weekend get away and we plan to book it again!

So much to do in Brandywine Valley and this home was a perfect home base. The location was close to everything - historic sites, antique shops, wineries, great restaurants and Longwood Gardens. It’s advertised as “cozy” and we found it charming and comfortable. Loved the excellent communication, ease of entry and departure, and warm welcome from our hostess. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

This cozy Spring House Cottage was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my wife. The cottage was quaint, rustic, very comfortable and very easy to find. We were visiting friends nearby and wanted a local hopping off spot to visit the Brandywine River Museum. Our host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. A delightful find !

Ivana communicates well and promptly. The house is exactly like what the listing said. Cozy, well decorated and comfortable. The outdoor space is wonderful -- we got there late and were welcomed by two cute fawns. It is close to a busy road, so a sound machine is a must. But the outdoor space is isolated and away from the road (hence, the deer visits). Also, note that going behind the antique shop is a safer route when leaving the rental house. They have a pack-n-play and high chair. Beds are comfortable. We will definitely book this again next time we visit family.

My two sisters and I enjoyed this mid-week stay in Chadds Ford. The rooms were as pictured online and as noted, this home is set back from, but on a major road. While a little noisy, that also means that it is very convenient to popular sites like Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine River Museum. As it was rainy, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the porch, though it looked inviting. Ivana was gracious, sending notes to ensure we were comfortable and all was well. The welcome sign, snacks, and neatly set kitchen table were lovely touches!

This location offers great access to Longwood Gardens and other cute spots in town. This location was super cute and very cozy. The only downsides to this spot was that the bedrooms are all in close proximity and the beds and pillows were firm. The host made sure our stay was welcome and kept good communication with us! I would recommend this location!

My friend and I loved our stay. The house had so much character and was very well stocked which made it a very relaxing stay as well. The house is well placed for exploring the area - so many shops, museums, pubs, restaurants and, of course, beautiful countryside. We came to visit Chanticleer and Longwood Gardens and the house location was perfect for that. Only one minor comment: the house is very close to a major roadway. We heard heavy traffic during most of our stay. But I wouldn’t let that stop you because if you’re like us, you’re spending most of your time exploring in any case. And it was really nice sitting out on the patio after a long day of discovering this beautiful part of Pennsylvania.

Beautiful and so cozy! Cottage was absolutely adorable. If you are taller than 6’ you might be a little squeezed, but those in the under-5’5” club thought the place was perfect. Just a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and the wedding venue we came into town for.

My three young children, my husband and I stayed at the Spring House to visit Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine area. Our kids loved the “coziness of the house” - in fact, my 8-year-old daughter said she would like to own it. The only issue I would note is that it is closer to the road than I would prefer, so you could hear traffic. It is very convenient to restaurants, cafés, and other sites.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and especially the outdoor area. The house is very old but with the additions there’s plenty of room for family. The only downfall we both experienced is the location is right off of a busy road making it very loud at night and difficult to stay asleep. The host always decorates in a fun, eclectic way that I enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Overall, the location is very close to many tourist destinations and only a short drive from the restaurants in the area.

The house was cute and quaint. A perfect place to land with our family after long days at a tournament. Only 1 SMALL complaint. Most if not all of the windows are covered by only sheer curtains. Our family is used to room darkening shades on our bedroom windows. Not a huge problem since we had early mornings anyway. Would definitely look at staying here again if our team does this tournament again next year!

A Very nice place to stay for 3 people! House was well furnished. Amenities were provided, everything we needed was available. The host was quick to communicate. It was very easy to get in - nothing complicated. It is near a busy road, so there is some road noise. Just something to keep in mind if you want a secluded, quiet place.

A cozy spot with 3 beds and a full kitchen. Host was available. It is off a very busy road which made walking/running impossible. The upstairs bedroom could hear the loud highway. Overall, a cute place with water and a few snacks left for welcoming. My one piece of feedback I gave the host was that main bedroom’s bed was so terribly squeaky and unsteady that it made it very hard to rest. I would have expected the host to have noticed or checked before renting- especially for charging such an high rate with fees Also, note the the directions they give is to go on an off-road grassy driveway. We were unclear that it was drivable, especially at night making for a complex check in.
