Nice old house in a quiet neighborhood. Close to lots of stores. Well stocked. Our large group had plenty of space. The listing says it all. Only thing I would add is there's an additional half bath on the lower floor.

Property was good the basement was a bit musty but probably the country. My only negative is that there was not a highchair or a pack n play for our 2 year old to sleep.

This house has been the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The basement had a bedroom with 2 queens a bathroom with a toilet and sink The bathroom had no light was in the utility room and smelled of mildew also very narrow stairs. The house said that it slept 11. Lucky for us there were only 6 because 2 of us had to sleep on the couch because no one wanted to sleep downstairs. The stairs to the upstairs which was an attic were even more narrow and steep than the ones to the upstairs that had 2 bedrooms and the bath upstairs was as bad as the basement. As we were older folks we couldn’t manage the stairs so one couple did have to sleep upstairs. One bedroom on main floor so two there. The bath on main floor was very very small but 4 of us shared this. The chairs outside 3 in total were falling apart one had the seat completely collapsed. And no instructions at all for the thermostat. Which as we got in was 66 degrees. We did manage to shut it totally off but got hot at6 in the morning so back on and it continued to run. We left came back again to 62 degrees and unable to shut it off so we we woke up it was 55 degrees it was awful. And also only has parking for 2 cars. I want my money back. There. Was no layout of the house on the site and I now know why. DON’T rent it

We were so looking forward to our stay at this home. However, upon arrival, we noticed that the basement had flooded. There were a few fans running around the room, so someone was aware of this problem and did not address it, or notify us. It took us 4 hours on the phone to finally get the problem addressed and resolved with VRBO customer service. The host did finally contact us several hours later after we had left the home and found a hotel. Apparently there was an issue with a broken phone? And the cleaning personnel and site manager did not address it. We were refunded our money and made whole on the difference in the hotel price which was fair. Other than the flooding issue we felt that the home was nice and were sad that we were not able to stay there.

The living room is cozy. The kitchen is cute, small, but fine. A 5th coffee cup would be nice but otherwise adequately appointed. Nice to have a Britta and a Keurig. The house has a bit of a musty smell, especially in the basement. The basement space is nice with the two beds and laundry available was nice. Nicely decorated. Thank you Mathew.

Our family was very pleased with the house in general, and specifically with the ability to spread out and have spaces that were private allowing for seperation, but also have spaces where all could gather and fellowship. the table was large enough to handle our large group, and we enjoyed being able to cook together and eat together. The three TV's also allowed for different needs when it came to entertainment. In short, this house allowed our family to gather under one roof and enjoy each other's company. It is an excellent find.

Property was very nice and amenities were well provided. Some little ants in the house. Several of the lights/lamps did not work and the door knobs were loose and one of the barn doors would not move on its track.These were just minor inconveniencess though and didn't detract from the overall experience. The house was very nice and affordable. Good location too.

The property was well kept with some age related wear. The property mgr was very responsive and communicated all needed info in a timely manner. Would stay here again if I find myself in the area.

The property was perfect for 5 adults. Plenty of room and beds. The location is close enough to bars, entertainment, and the casino. Being able to use the garage was a bonus. No issues.

The place was very convenient and close to the venue we were attending. However, in one of the bedrooms upstairs, there seemed to be what looked like blood stains on the sheets and there was a suspicious red solo cup placed upside down under the same bed. We weren't sure if it possibly was set there to contain something. Very strange and made it difficult to sleep.

We were really looking forward to staying atthe property because it was the holidays and we would be so close to family and friends. It looked so nice in the pictures. We were so disappointed as soon as we drove into the driveway. The driveway and sidewalk had not been shoveled from the snow that had fallen two days before. The front screen door hinge was broken as well and the door was flapping in the wind. We had received a pretty lengthy set of rules prior to arrival so you can imagine how disappointed we were upon entering. We found the garbage from the previous renters piled up outside the side entrance and a huge pile of empty beer bottles in the garage. Inside the house we're all kinds of remnants of the party that had taken place the night before. Sticky countertops and floors, carpets unswept, drapes torn off the window. We basically had to clean the house before we could unpack. We also had to keep turning up the heat because the house was freezing cold. Before we left, we did all decide that we could only say two good things about the place, the water was hot and the refrigerator was cold. And yes we did contact the owner right away and he told us he would take care of everything, not sure what that meant ?? He also let us know the previous renters had been pretty unruly and had a party prior to us arriving. I can't help but wonder why someone didn't pay more attention to cleaning things up knowing that another group would be arriving the following day ?? We've rented multiple homes over the years and never had an experience like this. Hope our next experience will be better.

Nice clean place

The photos posted are definitely photoshopped and a gross misrepresentation of the actual house. The fridge still had leftover food from the last tenant. The house is so different than the actual house, my family and I would rather pay extra to stay somewhere else. When I sent the message to Matthew regarding these issues and asked for a partial refund, he was unresponsive. I did not post any pictures so you might doubt this review. But since you can’t go into the house to inspect it before the deadline for the refund is up, are you really wanting to take that chance? Good luck if you do.HarryVrbo Customer

House was very clean and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel like they had their own space. We were there for a family wedding and all of the venues that we attended were nearby (less than 10 minutes) so it was a great location for us. We had no problems with the house but our schedule changed due to some family complications and the host was very accommodating and always responded in a timely manner.

We were here for a family reunion. Great for large group for sleeping accommodations. Really no place to take a walk around the neighborhood so not really a place to hang out.

Perfect location for our baseball tournament. Well stocked with the essentials. Property as described.

Great location - near the highway so it's easy to get around, and close to a lot of grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants.The only thing is that I would put a slight hit on the beds. Not really comfortable and noisy if you move around.

We rented this property for a two night stay to attend a funeral with myself (pastor), my wife, and two other members of our church. It met all our needs in this regard. We were only at the property for a total of 18 hours (8 hours one evening and 10 hours the following). I did not receive any communication in response to my questions prior our stay. These were emailed in response to the emails stating they were from the host (what appears to be auto-generated emails from the host were very informative and accurate), unfortunately, a couple of simple questions were not answered in return. It appears that the home may be in the process of remodel or repair due to being the middle of winter in Peoria. This did not negatively impact our stay. Just some items in the main floor bathroom and downstairs that were loose on the counter, etc. This is quite understandable. One of the complaints from my wife and guests from the church (the only complaint) was that there was not any sugar available for the coffee.
