Canyon retreat villa

We had a great stay here. The check in process was easy, and the host was responsive! The highlight was the pool and outdoor seating.

The home shows a little wear, but the reasonable price lets you know you aren’t staying in a five star resort. Lots of space in side and out. Enjoyed shaded pool area, swimming in pool and morning coffee on outside deck.

This was a girls trip that turned into us supporting our friend during her husbands open heart surgery. So thankful we were able to add a day. It was roomy enough for the three of us. We never got to use the pool, but did enjoy the outside a couple of nights.

Just a mediocre place. Pool needs to be refinished badly. The grill was broken without notice yet they knew about it. The AC was an issue our first night. Stray cat always around. You essentially are sharing the property with 2 other neighbors. So there’s no privacy and you’re at the mercy of how they operate their own spaces. Example is lounging by the pool while the neighbors can actually watch you, or looking around the corner at the other neighbors broken down cars. There’s also another neighbor with a junkyard in the front lawn. The more I write the more I realize this place was very unsatisfactory.One bathroom is for 2 of the rooms and there’s a 3rd room where your bathroom is actually in the family room making it hard to have any kind of privacy. Also one of the beds is very squeaky. Multiple tripping hazards inside and out due to steps not being up to code because of additions.

Location was beautiful. View was beautiful. The innkeepers were very helpful and very nice. Outside of house patio’s and greenery were beautiful. Loved all the little places to sit. Very relaxing. House was clean. Bed was uncomfortable. And ice maker didn’t work. And grill outside was not working , dinning chairs were uncomfortable and. There was no gym or washer or dyer as advertised. But all and all had a nice time.
