Apopka Single-Story Home w/ Private Lanai + Pool!

It was great!

We've stayed here 4 times, and every time it's the same: clean and ready for guests. Not much else you could ask for in a vacation rental.

The space was awesome for the price and it was clean and cozy. Our only real complaint is they should double check the propane tank before each visit/stay and provide more paper towels and tp for guests with 5 ppl staying for a week. Otherwise amazing spot.

Upon arriving in this neighborhood you will see several junk cars & neglected landscaping. Rooms look the same as the photos but dont show details. Paint/finishes are chipped & worn, tile broken, front door has gaps at bottom, pool area screen has holes, broken kitchen trash can, missing remotes for fans/TVs & a bed that feels like it will fall apart when you get in it. Pool was full of bugs & pool area covered with debris. Property is not located closely to family-friendly dinning/shopping.On our 1st night, several cars were parked along the street with people gathered. We even noticed a loose dog on the property. Regardless of the type of event, we were traveling with 2 kids and did not feel this was a favorable environment for our family. Those vehicles were also present the 2nd day. We departed on the 2nd evening for our own peace of mind & notified the property host. She said there was no crime in the neighborhood & pointed us to Evolve. Evolve conducted an investigation and were "unable to offer compensation or a refund based on these perceptions". However, if I was able to provide a "police report or evidence of illegal activity" then they would consider it for "further review".This review is meant to help future guests avoid the same situation. It is incorrect & misleading to label this property "exceptional" based on the conditons I listed above. And, while this "quiet neighborhood" is not loud in terms of noise, it is NOT "quiet" in terms of activity.

The accomodations were clean and spacious. The area was quiet and close to many dining options, grocery, gas, etc. Check-in/ out process was easy and hassle free. They owners put a lot of thought in to every detail. I would rent this place again if back in the area.
