The property was perfect for us. We wanted a low-key time to relax. The condo had plenty of room, a great bed, and adequate kitchen supplies for the meals we chose to prepare during our stay. The location was great with access to the creek, restaurants, and shopping just a short drive away. It was a wonderful experience.

Property is very quiet and "safe". I had my 2 pommeranians with me and they loved it. Staring into the backyard and watch the deer was fun. Living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath well appointed with everything you need, and clean!!!!... Location perfect for walking the dogs by the river. You can take the back stairs down to the river for strolls. GO ENJOY IT!!!

Our stay was a combination business and pleasure trip during the week. This unit is a hidden gem! The minute you open the door you feel like you’re home. The indoor space has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The outdoor patio is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine while watching the deer & birds. Dependable internet service for remote work, and conveniently located to downtown Salado for shopping, dining, and events. Very close to the golf course. The Hosts…Cindy and Todd…were very responsive the night we checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Great place to stay! Will definitely stay again!

After a short snafu about entry, the rest of my stay was easy and just what I needed. The property was very clean and I\'m a stickler for cleanliness. It was easy to access. You park right in front and walk right in---no steps. The furniture seems changed in the living area since the photos, but I think it\'s an improvement. It was very comfortable and had a great TV. Kitchen is tiny, but who really cooks on a short vacation? Bathroom and bedroom are nice. The only thing missing is a place to put your clothes. The hangars shown in the photos have "walked off" and there are no drawers or shelves for folding clothes. That said, I would recommend this place for its great location, cleanliness, decor, ease of access, safe surroundings and the fun of watching the deer each morning while having breakfast. Great location. Enjoyed seeing the deer out of the back patio door window when we arrived. The VRBO was well kept and provided everything we needed. We will definitely use this VRBO again in the future.

We enjoyed our trip to Salado. The place was exactly as advertised - cute, clean and comfortable. The host’s instructions were clear and easy. Communication was excellent and we were confident that the hosts would address anything we needed. The neighboring area is quiet and scenic. Overall it was a lot of fun.

Wonderful location and very nice property. The property was clean and beautiful. Great location to walk around the area. The owner was always in communication should I have needed anything or had any questions. Would definitely stay here again on any future trips to salado. Thank you for being a great host.

This getaway is very relaxing and quiet! Deer roam morning and night. The host were very attentive and responded quickly to any communication. This Salado retreat was clean, equipped and a wonderful place to relax. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

Wonderful location and quiet property with beautiful landscape and nature. Very clean and the perfect size for my daughter and I to enjoy a weekend away! Property manager was very attentive and responds quickly. We would love to stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely second stay in this comfortable 1-bedroom condo in this beautiful, quiet treed neighborhood. Last time we saw 2 deer. This time we saw 5 before we even checked in, plus a mama and 3 fawns in the back yard, plus some 30 others in our morning neighborhood walks on the gentle hills. The generous snacks and breakfast provisions in the well-stocked kitchen make it so convenient to be comfortable. We also like the large walk-in shower! We will be back.

The condo was clean and cozy for myself and 2 sisters. It was centrally located which prompted us to rent the condo. The rainshower showerhead was nice as were the soft towels and sheets. The check in and out process was simple. The condo was reasonably priced. On the VRBO website, the owners advertise “breakfast included”, a Murphy bed and bathrobes for guests. The breakfast consisted of a few packages of instant oatmeal and with that, the owner told us to enjoy our awesome breakfast. The Murphy bed was actually a fold out couch with springs one could feel through the thin mattress. There were no bathrobes. If one wanted to watch network television, this is not the place to stay. Normally we wouldn’t care, but since it was the World Series and a Texas team was in it, we were very disappointed to not be able to watch it. We attempted several times to communicate with the owners. They answered part of our questions but ignored the rest.

You park right in front and walk right in---no steps. The furniture seems changed in the living area since the photos, but I think it\'s an improvement. It was very comfortable and had a great TV. Kitchen is tiny, but who really cooks on a short vacation? Bathroom and bedroom are nice. The only thing missing is a place to put your clothes. The hangars shown in the photos have "walked off" and there are no drawers or shelves for folding clothes. That said, I would recommend this place for its great location, cleanliness, decor, ease of access, safe surroundings and the fun of watching the deer each morning while having breakfast. Definitely top of the line

We enjoyed our trip to Salado. The place was exactly as advertised - cute, clean and comfortable. The host’s instructions were clear and easy. Communication was excellent and we were confident that the hosts would address anything we needed. The neighboring area is quiet and scenic. Overall it was a lot of fun.

The property was perfect for us. We wanted a low-key time to relax. The condo had plenty of room, a great bed, and adequate kitchen supplies for the meals we chose to prepare during our stay. The location was great with access to the creek, restaurants, and shopping just a short drive away. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely second stay in this comfortable 1-bedroom condo in this beautiful, quiet treed neighborhood. Last time we saw 2 deer. This time we saw 5 before we even checked in, plus a mama and 3 fawns in the back yard, plus some 30 others in our morning neighborhood walks on the gentle hills. The generous snacks and breakfast provisions in the well-stocked kitchen make it so convenient to be comfortable. We also like the large walk-in shower! We will be back.

The condo was clean and cozy for myself and 2 sisters. It was centrally located which prompted us to rent the condo. The rainshower showerhead was nice as were the soft towels and sheets. The check in and out process was simple. The condo was reasonably priced. On the VRBO website, the owners advertise “breakfast included”, a Murphy bed and bathrobes for guests. The breakfast consisted of a few packages of instant oatmeal and with that, the owner told us to enjoy our awesome breakfast. The Murphy bed was actually a fold out couch with springs one could feel through the thin mattress. There were no bathrobes. If one wanted to watch network television, this is not the place to stay. Normally we wouldn’t care, but since it was the World Series and a Texas team was in it, we were very disappointed to not be able to watch it. We attempted several times to communicate with the owners. They answered part of our questions but ignored the rest.

This getaway is very relaxing and quiet! Deer roam morning and night. The host were very attentive and responded quickly to any communication. This Salado retreat was clean, equipped and a wonderful place to relax. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

We did very little cooking. I was happy we brought our own breakfasts to warm up. Also glad we brought the coffee we love because the selections that where there wouldn't be what we liked.It would have been great to have had a box of tissues because our allergies were crazy, but we had our own.
