Eagle's Nest Sapelo Island, beach, nature & comfort

We enjoyed our stay at the Eagle’s Nest!The house was clean and charming. All the contacts that were share with us by Stephan (were very reliable). The Island was enjoyed by all of us. The three hour tour answered so many questions our questions about the island and then we explored on our own. The island people were super nice, friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the island for no other reason than to decompress that is the place to go!we had our meals catered and ate at the Minnow Trap which was very good. Also you must have a minnow trap slap!

We love Eagles Nest! Great kitchen for all the cooking we love to do, excellent communication w hosts, super flexible set-up.

This was the perfect place for us to spend our Christmas vacation. It is a clean home, well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and great outside porch. The beds were very comfortable. And it is very quiet. This is an easy walk to a corner store (closed for Christmas holidays) and bar (Yacht Club) with restaurant. One day we rented a golf cart and visited the Post Office, Lighthouse, R J Reynolds Mansion and Nanny Goat beach.Communication with host is perfect...Steve was quick to respond to all questions. We highly recommend Barbara Bailey for catering. The slow country boil was our favorite followed by ribs and chicken.
