Cozy Country Cottage

The house was conveniently located for our needs. The owner responded quickly to emails. The property was not very clean. Dusty fans, oven was filthy, floors were just ok cleaned. There was no central air just poorly installed window units. Master bedroom smelled very unpleasant. The master bedroom floors were wet as if the carpet was tried to be cleaned, which probably attributed to the smell. The bathroom between the two bedrooms was very small and the shower was no larger than a small RV shower. The so called spa was a jetted bathtub in what we called the outside bathroom. it seemed like an addition off of the kitchen and had washer and dryer but you can see through the door jams to the outside. Only heater in that bathroom was an electric heater that did heat the bathroom. Unfortunately I would not recommend staying at this location unless it was fully renovated.

Owner was super responsive, good spot once we got the heat figured out. Older property but clean and serviceable. The hot tub was cloudy and smelly, owner said he will address it with his maintenance staff.

This cute little bungalow has everything you need for a family stay or a private getaway. It is in a convenient location with everything you could need. The hosts are quite possibly the kindest most down to earth folks I’ve encountered. I hope anyone who comes enjoys their time here as much as we did. Thank you for having us :)

Great location for our family coming to a wedding. The home was cozy and inviting. Great communication with the host!

We came from Kentucky to get married across the street at Chateau Vie. This bungalow was so convenient and let us bring our dogs so we didn’t have to board them. The place is so cozy and really helped us relax before and after our big day. It had everything you would need and felt like you were secluded while being so close and convenient to stores and restaurants in the cute little town of Walnut Cove. The hosts really cared how our stay was and even personalized little things for us. I would highly recommend if you are in the area, this is a perfect place to retreat to.
