Cozy Denver Retreat with a Hot Tub and Large Fenced Yard

Hubby and I booked for a family vacation with our 13-year-old daughter and dog, specifically because we wanted a fenced yard and more usable outdoor space.It is not clear from the listing how the backyard actually functions. There is no direct access to the backyard from the unit. To reach the yard, you have to leave the unit, walk around the building, and enter through a side gate. The neighboring unit's patio opens directly into the shared space, so it felt more like an extension of their outdoor living area than a shared amenity.The property itself was rougher than expected, with just dirt and weeds in the front. There was dog waste in the backyard, and the overall exterior lacked curb appeal.The location was also not what we expected. The property sits on a very busy road with constant vehicle noise. When I took my dog for a walk the following morning, I observed multiple individuals around the block who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, bent over and standing in the middle of the street.The biggest issue was the noise. The neighboring guests were outside partying with music, yelling, and having a great time. We spoke to the guests ourselves without luck and then reported it immediately. While the host did reach out to the other guests, the party continued past 2am.We checked out the next day and booked alternative accommodations. To the host's credit, she did refund the second night. This experience was a disappointing part of our family vacation.

We had a nice stay while visiting our son. The beds were comfy and the host provided plenty of towels, soap and TP. The road was a little busier than we expected but didn’t notice the noise very often. We would stay here again.

Great weekend with family!

Interior is very nice. Beds are comfortable, water pressure good and kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Location was close to our son and we were able to walk to grocery store and drive to Walmart. We hiked in nearby Boulder and went to downtown Denver to eat and catch a Rockies game. About 90min drive to Rocky Mountain Marional park was well worth it. Only issues we had were no tv service - only a few streaming services; shared home with other occupant kinda got a bit loud but that was not owners fault. Otherwise, great place and we will look here first next time we visit our son.
