The photos made it look like we were going to a very nice property in a very nice area. We were shocked. We felt so uncomfortable in the that we left and went to a hotel.

as the headline says the apartment was fine with the unfortunate situation of a kitchen that is not meant for any cooking. microwave didn't work, there is no oven and it only has two small cooking area of which one did not work. there are many great restaurants in Barcelona but we rent an apartment so one can occasionally eat in. the agency that rents the apartment asked me to only please write a five star review or skip it altogether. the other problem with unique rental is that two weeks after I checked out I still have not received my security deposit. I requested on two occasions to please let me know what the holdup is but no response
