Downtown: Explore Shepherdstown from cozy 1br apar

I ended up being unable to make the trip, so my husband went solo. He loved the location and said everything was great. Comfortable.

Short visit. Apt is nicely appointed. Small but efficient. Trains were no bother. But noise from a/C was very disturbing resulting in very little sleep. Bed up against a wall…some one has to crawl across…makes for a night of disturbing one’s bed partner when person next to wall feels the need to get up. Room is a bit claustrophobic due to lack of windows (only one…street side). Short stay is good. Long stay…could be wearying. Pls let me stress how clean and nice the decor is. That’s the Plus.

Had an awesome stay! I do think in summer it could be a little toasty unless I missed an AC unit, but the fans I found were just fine.It was such a cozy place. The ONLY thing I would suggest is to pack some earlplugs if you’re not a heavy sleeper. The train is very close. It didn’t bother me in the least but it blows its whistle three times through town and tracks are right behind the property.

My partner and I were in town for two nights for a local race. We were very happy with this apartment. It was exactly as marketed and Zeb, the host, was super responsive and accommodating. Would 10 out of 10 recommend and return.

Lovely one night stay with my husband. We were heading home to PA from a family event in VA, and decided to break up our drive with a one day/one night stay in Sheperdstown. Had a lovely Sunday afternoon walk around town, dinner and more walking in/out the shops.
