We've stayed at a number of rentals being houses, condos, etc. This one rates right up there at the top. Spacious house, lots of amenities with quick and responsive host. Nothing was missing. Pictures do not do this place justice. It is close to town and right on the road to Purgatory. Wifi was great, all of us were hooked up, not different than most of us these days. Outdoor Weber grill and hot tub. Thanks!!

The home was clean and spacious for our family of 4, exactly as described. The backyard is beautiful for an early morning coffee or late evening relaxation. The hot tub, just steps from the main bedroom is a perfect way to end each day. The home is conveniently located to downtown and the train, nothing in town is much more than 10 minutes away. There are many great hiking trailheads within 15 minutes for varying levels of challenges.Overall, the home was fantastic. We did have a couple of minor issues, but when I reached out to Marley, she responded quickly and helped us out by going above & beyond! Nice home. Perfect for 2. Close to Purgatory ski area. Quiet, clean, private, and well equipped. WiFi good. Hot Tub excellent. Manager very responsive to our questions. Only issue was getting cable services working in the main living area. Did resolve issue the next day. Will return again..............

Excellent accommodations with 3 bedrooms and all the amenities that one could ask for plus a bonus outdoor hit tub to soothe ones aching muscles after one or a number of days of skiing. Only 15 minute drive to ski area ; excellent location.

My sister and I had a lovely time staying here for several nights while visiting my adult son in Durango. The kitchen is particularly well-stocked with cookware, and we had a few people over for dinner one night and were able to make and serve a great meal. Not always possible with the kitchens in many VRBOs! It was lovely to have the hot tub as well, and don't miss the spectacular trail that goes up behind the house! What a great stay. I will try to book this home again next time I visit Durango!

The home was a great fit for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) and easily could have snuck in another kiddo or two. There was plenty of bedding, a few games stashed away if we had actually had enough time to play them, and a variety of tv streaming service options after an evening soak in the hot tub. The home has had fabulous quick, direct access to town. The one drawback we had was finding mouse feces in the kitchen drawers (not out of the ordinary in a mountain town with the temps dropping, but still should have been sanitized properly). I notified the owner and she immediately responded and addressed our concerns.
The home was a great fit for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) and easily could have snuck in another kiddo or two. There was plenty of bedding, a few games stashed away if we had actually had enough time to play them, and a variety of tv streaming service options after an evening soak in the hot tub. The home has had fabulous quick, direct access to town. I notified the owner and she immediately responded and addressed our concerns.

It’s pretty outdated so don’t expect a new rental. Smelled like a smoker lived there but it wasn’t too bad. A little fe breeze masked it well. Only 10 min to downtown, and 2 minutes to Oxbow park, we enjoyed the city and nature. So nice to walk near the river. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

It was comfortable and had everything we needed on site. My bed was comfortable (downstairs); however, a friend thought the beds upstairs were not. That may be all personal preferences. The stairs are a little tricky for older people and luggage.

Older property beautifully preserved. Made me feel like I was in a cottage. There is no central AC so it was pretty warm inside especially in areas where the sun shines in and with windows open. The good thing was that as soon as the sun starts going down the house starts to cool down and the bedrooms have window units and fans. Owner did mention there were record high temperatures when we stayed. You do have little bugs from the outside coming in thru the windows so you will see them coming in but they’re harmless lol. The grounds were very pretty and location is ideal! Owner was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely consider staying here again.

This house made my family feel right at home. Very comfortable surroundings with a hot tub we enjoyed! Close to all activities in and around Durango. Be advised the spiral staircase to second floor makes lugging suitcases a bit tricky.

This home was perfect for our family adventure to Durango. It was comfortable, cozy and family friendly. Great back patio with hot tub and beautiful backyard. Large living space with fire place. We arrived just a tad early and met the owner Lori. Wonderful and friendly lady. The property was close to downtown Durango. We really enjoyed our stay here. Book it! You won't be disappointed!

It’s pretty outdated so don’t expect a new rental. Smelled like a smoker lived there but it wasn’t too bad. A little fe breeze masked it well. Host didn’t respond too quickly but overall, it was a fine stay. Decent location and quiet neighborhood. The place needs some basic updates and some plumbing issues fixed. We had a nice time on the deck and the hot tub was clean.

Nice home. Perfect for 2. Close to Purgatory ski area. Quiet, clean, private, and well equipped. WiFi good. Hot Tub excellent. Manager very responsive to our questions. Only issue was getting cable services working in the main living area. Did resolve issue the next day. Will return again..............

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was clean, the host was considerate, and the garden was beautiful! It was easy to find and instructions were clear. Only 10 min to downtown, and 2 minutes to Oxbow park, we enjoyed the city and nature. So nice to walk near the river. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We loved staying here! This property is beautiful, with tons of green surrounding it. The home was clean and great for families, with several beds and two bathrooms. Communication with the hosts was also excellent. We hope to stay here again and highly recommend this place!

Excellent location, cute house and property. Very clean. Easy check-in and check-out. The only negative was the strong smell of air fresheners/Glade plug-ins. We all commented that it irritated our eyes. Our clothes even picked up that smell.

It was nice for us because we wanted lots of seating for a short visit with family after a funeral. For the 4 hours after there was plenty of space for everyone. Its a cute place. Birdwatching was really good there. Lots of peace and quiet. Bed was comfy. Host was easy to work with and responds quickly.

Place was amazing all around! Great location between Durango and Purgatory, just in North side of Durango. Everything was convenient drive. Plane was nostalgic family vibes, you can envision the oldbasement shop Great hotttub!

The home was clean and spacious for our family of 4, exactly as described. The backyard is beautiful for an early morning coffee or late evening relaxation. The hot tub, just steps from the main bedroom is a perfect way to end each day. The home is conveniently located to downtown and the train, nothing in town is much more than 10 minutes away. There are many great hiking trailheads within 15 minutes for varying levels of challenges.Overall, the home was fantastic. We did have a couple of minor issues, but when I reached out to Marley, she responded quickly and helped us out by going above & beyond! The hosts were very accommodating to our needs and were flexible when we left on our last day. Highly recommended; we'll be back next time we stay in Durango!

This house made my family feel right at home. Very comfortable surroundings with a hot tub we enjoyed! Close to all activities in and around Durango. Be advised the spiral staircase to second floor makes lugging suitcases a bit tricky.

Excellent accommodations with 3 bedrooms and all the amenities that one could ask for plus a bonus outdoor hit tub to soothe ones aching muscles after one or a number of days of skiing. Only 15 minute drive to ski area ; excellent location.

Amazing property in Durango, close to town, just off 550. Was not noisy at all, home was beautiful, clean and a great please to be able to stay there. All instructions were a great add as sometimes a question comes up but there is an answer in the home's instructions. Kitchen has everything, We intend to stay again!

Nice little cottage home. It's old, but the owners have kept it in good condition. They had a lot of nice touches like firewood, a generously sized hot tub, paper towels and toilet paper. The house has a decently strong cleaner smell when you walk in, but you can unplug the air freshener by the bay window and that helps. It's very conveniently located between downtown Durango and Purgatory. The only real negative about the place is that the beds are very uncomfortable. The master bed is a queen but felt more like a full. The mattress and bed spread seemed old. The mattress was very soft so my back hurt every morning. When you move at night it shakes the whole bed. My son slept on one of the twin mattresses and said it was too uncomfortable. He spent the rest of the stay on the couch.We'd stay here again if they refreshed the beds.
