The apt was exactly as advertised. Very clean, and gave off bright/cheerful vibes. We loved the neighborhood and felt completely safe taking walks at night, which was really pleasant. The patio in back was lit up with strings of light, and we enjoyed visiting and playing games out there. The only issue we had (very small), was the lack of towel bars or hooks to hang wet towels and washcloths from.

I was surprised that the entrance to the yard made it look like no one lived there. It wouldn't take a tremendous amount of effort to make it very inviting and welcoming in front. The patio and entrance to the apartment was in no better condition looked unkempt and disorganized. The stairs down to the apartment or dirty with debris. Upon entrance to the apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and attention to details. I had a couple of issues with the operation of the TV but it was likely operator error. I could not find a thermostat in the apartment and it was extremely cold with the air conditioning on what is probably necessary for the upper house. This was not a big deal as I pretty much only slept there, all in all it was a very convenient place to stay in the S. Pearl St. area is very nice and walkable. I spent two nights at Music events at red rocks, and the Denver area is always a great place to visit. I did mention to the owner that would be willing to give her a hand in the yard if I were to visit again.

We enjoyed the ambiance and decor of this house. The ceiling is low/ slanted in places making it more difficult for my 6’4” husband but it was clean and cozy with a nice outdoor space. Enjoyed the coffee, sweets and other foods the host left.

We had a wonderful time on our visit for a few nights in Denver. We had great communication and easy check in. The property was clean, spotless, decorated wonderfully with some beautiful art work throughout. It was quiet, with a comfortable bed and hot shower after our hikes in the area. The neighborhood is close to lots of good food, fun activities and stunning nature. Thank you for having us.

This little gem is in a great location! It was easy to access South Pearl Street, downtown, Cherry Creek and DU. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our quick stay. We felt right at home! Mariel communicated quickly throughout the process from booking, our stay and after. Thanks for a great stay!

I really enjoyed our stay, Mariel is a very gracious host and I can tell she took a lot of care in providing a nice vrbo experience. I'm not well versed with VRBO so when I got there i couldn't find the wifi password so I messaged her. She was quick to respond to help me and get me that password. (It's in the app, for any other newbies) . We also got to meet her dog and the neighbors dogs and they were all so sweet and cute. The bed was VERY comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The mini fridge has also got a separate compartment for the freezer which i thought was really nice. I loved the location, it was a bit of a drive to winter park but it was super great for any denver related activities.

My husband and I stayed here for a week during our visit to Denver. It was such a great location to walk to Pearl Street for coffee or a meal, short drive to downtown, and walking distance to the light rail. My husband lived around the block for a few years a while ago and it was so perfect and comfortable! The only thing I will mention is to remember this is a basement. My husband is 6’1” and had to duck a little but he didn’t mind haha.

My husband lived around the block for a few years a while ago and it was so perfect and comfortable! The only thing I will mention is to remember this is a basement. My husband is 6’1” and had to duck a little but he didn’t mind haha.

This was the perfect spot to stay for our honeymoon! Love the art and overall cozy vibe. Communication with the host was great and the snacks were such a good touch! 10/10 would stay here again :)

This basement apartment is located in a quiet residential area, close restaurants and a direct bus line into downtown Denver. The apartment is large, with a separate bedroom, a sitting room (complete with computer monitor, handy to plug your laptop in), dining area, and the kitchen. The apartment is well-stocked, and even has a fancy Keurig machine that even whips the milk for cappuccinos.

We enjoyed the ambiance and decor of this house. The ceiling is low/ slanted in places making it more difficult for my 6’4” husband but it was clean and cozy with a nice outdoor space. Enjoyed the coffee, sweets and other foods the host left.

Perfect place to call home for a long work week! Great walking distance to local shops/restaurants/etc. and even got to take advantage of the Farmer's Market before checking out on Sunday! I will definitely be looking to use this property again for future needs!

Mariel was a wonderful host. Timely communication and follow up to my questions. The property is located in a family friendly area of Denver. It’s about 15 minutes from the city center. The property is very comfortable, nicely appointed, and within walking distance to restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

15/10 experience, I've never had SUCH a smooth check-in/check-out process. All of our needs were met, quick response in the chat with the host, plenty of towels, and great amenities, patio, and kitchen area space! My boyfriend and I were there for my brother's wedding, & honestly, we found the space to be an artist's dream to stay in. Art everywhere! So sweet and colorful. It's the owner's remodeled basement, so the ceilings are a lil' low in places (PS. we're pretty tall people), BUT even then it was still so unbelievably charming for us! It felt like staying in a creative's hobbit house, which for nerds like us was an awesome experience. If I am ever back in Denver, I'll no doubt be staying here again!
