Das Waldhaus was perfect for our family of four while visiting Rainier. The cabin was a great size, well-stocked in the kitchen for all our needs, and we loved having the hot tub after our two days of challenging hiking! The hosts were very responsive and helpful and we honestly could not have been happier with our experience! Highly recommend!

Absolutely a wonderful trip! The cabin was a wonderful treat for our Birthdays. Place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. June my dog loved the trails behind the cabin. The hot tub was just Ahhhhhsome. Peaceful neighborhood. Fresh eggs next door to make fabulous breakfast. The detail instructions on all things was appreciated left no guessing on how things worked, location, or what was available to use. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home

This was the perfect location for us. Just 15 minutes from the NP. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the front door. The check-in process was a breeze, kitchen stocked with all the things you need to prepare your favorite meals, plenty of utensils, dishes, spices, coffee, tea, etc. The outdoor space is perfect to unwind and relax in the quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our mornings strolling through the woods with a cup of coffee. Bathrooms are fully stocked with everything you need. The beds, OMG they are so comfortable we didn't want to leave. I do believe this house is in our top 2 houses we have ever stayed at. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was clean and well-equipped, and you can walk out the back yard and just keep walking into the National Forest. The internet speed is very fast. Our family stayed in this home for a couple nights in July. The house was super clean and had the best stocked kitchen we've ever encountered. There was even a food thermometer! The beds were very comfortable and the setup of the home was ideal for a family with kids, with common areas situated between the master and other bedrooms. The home and property were very quiet. Having 2 bathrooms was an unexpected bonus (this is probably in the listing, but our family is used to sharing one bath on our vacations). The location was convenient for exploring Mt Rainier, but we also enjoyed just hanging out in the backyard. The home is immaculately maintained and organized. It made relaxing here easy, even when it was time to cook a big family meal. I would recommend this property to any family or friends who would be traveling in this area.

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin was beautiful and just right for our family. It felt so spacious even with 2 adults and 3 kids. This was the most well-appointed rental we have EVER stayed in. It was so nice to have some staples we could use instead of having to purchase and then throw away. Everything was super clean, the beds were very comfortable (doesn’t seem to be the norm for most rentals), kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of amenities to use. Plus, the view out the back door was lovely. It was a quiet and peaceful community. On another note, the owners literally saved our vacation. We left behind important documents and they were so wonderfully responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness. We were so lucky to have wonderful, trustworthy renters after us, these great hosts, plus a housekeeper that went well beyond the call of duty to meet us halfway to return our documents.

My skiing friends and I needed a clean, cute, and comfortable place to rest while enjoying nearby White Pass ski area. This property checked all those boxes and more. We had a fantastic stay at Das Waldhaus. It was the perfect spot for our two day visit to Mount Rainier. The owners of this property have thought of every detail -- from Band-Aids to stain remover. The beds and pillows were super comfy. It was an above-and-beyond home rental. Our group was so impressed! We had a minor hiccup when the keypad on the front door ran out of batteries, but the host was responsive, communicative, and quick to fix. Would absolutely stay again!

Our family stayed in this home for a couple nights in July. The house was super clean and had the best stocked kitchen we've ever encountered. There was even a food thermometer! The beds were very comfortable and the setup of the home was ideal for a family with kids, with common areas situated between the master and other bedrooms. The home and property were very quiet. Having 2 bathrooms was an unexpected bonus (this is probably in the listing, but our family is used to sharing one bath on our vacations). The location was convenient for exploring Mt Rainier, but we also enjoyed just hanging out in the backyard. The home is immaculately maintained and organized. It made relaxing here easy, even when it was time to cook a big family meal. I would recommend this property to any family or friends who would be traveling in this area.

My skiing friends and I needed a clean, cute, and comfortable place to rest while enjoying nearby White Pass ski area. This property checked all those boxes and more. Das Waldhaus was perfect for our family of four while visiting Rainier. The cabin was a great size, well-stocked in the kitchen for all our needs, and we loved having the hot tub after our two days of challenging hiking! The hosts were very responsive and helpful and we honestly could not have been happier with our experience! Highly recommend!

Absolutely a wonderful trip! The cabin was a wonderful treat for our Birthdays. Place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. June my dog loved the trails behind the cabin. The hot tub was just Ahhhhhsome. Peaceful neighborhood. Fresh eggs next door to make fabulous breakfast. We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin was beautiful and just right for our family. It felt so spacious even with 2 adults and 3 kids. This was the most well-appointed rental we have EVER stayed in. It was so nice to have some staples we could use instead of having to purchase and then throw away. Everything was super clean, the beds were very comfortable (doesn’t seem to be the norm for most rentals), kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of amenities to use. Plus, the view out the back door was lovely. It was a quiet and peaceful community. On another note, the owners literally saved our vacation. We left behind important documents and they were so wonderfully responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness. We were so lucky to have wonderful, trustworthy renters after us, these great hosts, plus a housekeeper that went well beyond the call of duty to meet us halfway to return our documents.

We travel all over, but this is our favorite. This trip was 4 retired ladies, but next trip I’ll be bringing the grand kids for hiking and exploring. One of the neighbors told us about a double waterfall that is just a short walk from our back yard. I can’t say enough about the professional and prompt responses from the owners. This location feels like our own family cabin. The owners provide clean burning firewood for the inside fireplace which is a money saving courtesy. This is a must visit for all ages.

We had a fantastic stay at Das Waldhaus. It was the perfect spot for our two day visit to Mount Rainier. The owners of this property have thought of every detail -- from Band-Aids to stain remover. The beds and pillows were super comfy. It was an above-and-beyond home rental. Our group was so impressed! We had a minor hiccup when the keypad on the front door ran out of batteries, but the host was responsive, communicative, and quick to fix. Would absolutely stay again!

This was the perfect location for us. Just 15 minutes from the NP. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the front door. The check-in process was a breeze, kitchen stocked with all the things you need to prepare your favorite meals, plenty of utensils, dishes, spices, coffee, tea, etc. The outdoor space is perfect to unwind and relax in the quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our mornings strolling through the woods with a cup of coffee. Bathrooms are fully stocked with everything you need. The beds, OMG they are so comfortable we didn't want to leave. I do believe this house is in our top 2 houses we have ever stayed at. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here! Highly recommend.

Our family stayed in this home for a couple nights in July. The house was super clean and had the best stocked kitchen we've ever encountered. There was even a food thermometer! The beds were very comfortable and the setup of the home was ideal for a family with kids, with common areas situated between the master and other bedrooms. The home and property were very quiet. Having 2 bathrooms was an unexpected bonus (this is probably in the listing, but our family is used to sharing one bath on our vacations). The location was convenient for exploring Mt Rainier, but we also enjoyed just hanging out in the backyard. The home is immaculately maintained and organized. It made relaxing here easy, even when it was time to cook a big family meal. I would recommend this property to any family or friends who would be traveling in this area.

This property was so well appointed & peaceful. We really enjoyed having the forest right in the backyard. We love the fire pit in the back yard. We purchased the wood from a neighbor down the street for 5. The hot tub was the perfect touch after our long 3 days of driving and after hiking in Mt Rainier National Park. Everything was perfect.

This place was amazing! The location was wonderful, close to town and friendly neighbors who supplied us with firewood. The back wooded area was amazing and perfect for sitting around the fire or dipping in the hot tub. The place was incredibly clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed and more.

We visit here every year. I am still finding hospitality details that Host Kim has prepared for “just in case”. This year we had some snow during or visit and wished we had packed cider or coco. There it was, all ready for us in the cabinet. Along with a great selection of teas. The beds and furniture is very comfortable. This is a single floor house which makes accessibility easy. We saw families of deer each evening. Our host provides the inside fireplace wood for free and that really adds a wonderful comfort to our time here. When my grand children get a little older this will be our yearly vacation with them. Such a great area for family. This property really is a must see.

This home was amazing! The host has everything so well organized with visuals, QR codes, and a very helpful welcome book. The accommodations were very comfortable with nice touches such as items for pets, laundry supplies, etc. The owners communication was the best I've experienced with VRBO. Highly recommend Das Waldhaus and would rent it again in a heart beat!
