We had a great time at this cabin. The hot tub with a view of Mt Ranier was great. The wood stove was very nice and enjoyable after skiing. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to returning again.

We stayed at the Elk Cabin for 3 nights to go skiing at White pass ski area. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood, and is only 25 min away from the ski area.The kitchen was well equipped and the kids enjoyed access to Netflix.

Nice property with lots of amenities. Wifi worked well, hot tub was hot, kitchen was easy to cook in, walked 10 minutes to get coffee each morning. 45 minutes to mt rainier park. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at rentals in packwood for the last 6 years during our yearly ski trip. Although this cabin is smaller than most that we’ve stayed at it was by far the best! The kitchen had good pots and pans and also foil and plastic wrap! The hot tub was 104-105 the whole time which is for some reason hard to accomplish for most rentals in packwood. There is an ample amount of firewood to keep the wood burning stove cranking. We woke up to a pack of elk in our backyard which was so lovely. The walk to the fire pit is giving all the vibes with the string lights and we had the best time toasting smores and drinking wine. The owner is so kind and good communication. We are hoping to stay in this cabin every year! Also, the price can’t be beat! Worth every dime!

Elk every morning/ bald eagles in the air / kids playing in the river all day. Hot tub at night (and mornings). At first glance, I thought it might be a bit quaint - I couldn’t have been more wrong. This place has just what you need and nothing you don’t. Family games, movies and fire pit were all top notch. We would and are planning on coming back.

Had a great stay at Will’s cabin. Clean, cozy, loved the hot tub with the view of Mt Rainier and the room AC units. Town was great and close to the park. Only issue was the internet not working the days we were there.Would stay again!!

We had a great weekend in this cute cabin! The hot tub was a plus, as well as the cleanliness and extra amenities like coffee, spices, etc. We liked that it was close to the grocery store as well as the brewery. We saw elk down the street on 2 separate occasions. Nice little neighborhood too!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time. The cabin is clean and comfortable for two people. The views were beautiful from the hot tub! It was a great location to get into the town of Packwood and driving to hiking trails around Mt Rainier.

This small cabin is clean, comfortable, and close to Packwood for easy access to the nearby river, the town, and local restaurants. don't miss Mountain Goat Coffee and Cruiser's, a pretty good pizza and burger restaurant.There are two comfy bedrooms, one has twin beds, and a modern bathroom, all comfortably air-conditioned. A hot tub on the front porch looks inviting but we didn't use it as it was too hot.And GREAT proximity to Rainier entrances and the area hiking is spectacular esp. in July when wildflowers are exploding. It was really nice to see an elk in the neighborhood on the last day. I highly recommend this place, and Will replied to every inquiry quickly with helpful info. Thanks, Will.

Such a cute little place! We had everything we could’ve needed. I will say that we were COLD at night and the cabin wouldn’t warm up even if we turned up the temp on the splits. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. You can tell that Will and the cleaners take pride in their locations!

My experience was more than I expected. The property was beautiful and well maintained. I was able to star gaze from the hot tub and enjoy the warmth of the fire pit. My host, Will, was beyond helpful and friendly and I can't wait to stay there again.

We had a great time staying at Elk Cabin for a weekend getaway! Super clean, decor is really cute, and location is close to town and the river! The hot tub is a huge bonus and it SNOWED all weekend. Lots of good reading by the cozy wood fireplace. Hard to leave...we will definitely be back!

This was a charming spot for our stay in Packwood - easy access to the Sunrise area of Mount Rainier NP. My son and I found it cozy and had everything we needed. Unfortunately we were in and out so didn’t have a chance to partake in the other amenities the home offers - the outdoor fire pit area or the hot tub. But we did enjoy the outdoor decks. Beds were comfy and loved that it had AC! Will was a great host - great communication. We would definitely book this place again if we’re ever back in this neck of the woods.

Very nice property and location. The grocery store is just down the road and there are plenty of close places to hike like Packwood Lake without traveling to Rainier National Park. The host was great a very responsive to our needs. The hot tub offered a nice view of Mt Rainier.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stayed at the Elk Cabin. Upon arrival, the lights were all on to welcome us and the property was very clean. Both fireplace and outside fire pit were great additions and the fact that we could see Mt Rainier from the front porch was magnificent. It was a little slice of heaven away from home. We will definitely be back! Will was quick to respond to questions and made sure our stay was what we wanted it to be. Thanks again!!

Wow! Simply Wow! Beautiful, quaint, comfortable home in a beautiful settin. Wonderful host! No wonder this place stays booked. This is EVERYTHING that is right about VRBO. I cannot recommend more highly!

Gonna keep this quick, as I was on my way to the property and later than regular check in time. I was starving and was thinking gonna have to start a chimney fire to get cabin nice and cozy before we start cooking. Figured probably 6pm after we settled in, to my surprise there was a fire started already, cabin was ready. This was awesome, really made our night awesome.

We were spending one night on way to Mt. Ranier National Park. Host was accommodating and responsive. House was great with nice view of Mt. Ranier from the front porch. We didn't spend much time in the house, but I would book it again for a longer stay.

Elk Cabin was a great place to stay for our family as we explored Mt Rainier National Park for three days. Clean, comfortable, well supplied, excellent hot tub to relax in after long hikes with beautiful mountain views. Nearby grocery store was helpful. Host was very good to work with.
Elk Cabin was a great place to stay for our family as we explored Mt Rainier National Park for three days. Clean, comfortable, well supplied, excellent hot tub to relax in after long hikes with beautiful mountain views. Nearby grocery store was helpful. Host was very good to work with.

We stayed at the Elk Cabin for 3 nights to go skiing at White pass ski area. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood, and is only 25 min away from the ski area.The kitchen was well equipped and the kids enjoyed access to Netflix.

The cabin was perfect for our trip to Rainier with our two kids 10 and 13. It had everything we needed throughout the week. The neighborhood is very nice and close proximity to local grocery store, café, and gift shop. Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier NP is 1hr drive.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time. The cabin is clean and comfortable for two people. The views were beautiful from the hot tub! It was a great location to get into the town of Packwood and driving to hiking trails around Mt Rainier.

Nice property with lots of amenities. Wifi worked well, hot tub was hot, kitchen was easy to cook in, walked 10 minutes to get coffee each morning. 45 minutes to mt rainier park. Would definitely stay again.

This small cabin is clean, comfortable, and close to Packwood for easy access to the nearby river, the town, and local restaurants. don't miss Mountain Goat Coffee and Cruiser's, a pretty good pizza and burger restaurant.There are two comfy bedrooms, one has twin beds, and a modern bathroom, all comfortably air-conditioned. A hot tub on the front porch looks inviting but we didn't use it as it was too hot.And GREAT proximity to Rainier entrances and the area hiking is spectacular esp. in July when wildflowers are exploding. It was really nice to see an elk in the neighborhood on the last day. I highly recommend this place, and Will replied to every inquiry quickly with helpful info. Thanks, Will.

Elk Cabin is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to many different Lakes and hikes (in and out of Mt Rainier National Park) and you just couldn’t beat the proximity to the national park. For a nice little swim you could walk or drive just down the street to access the beautiful Cowlitz River. Every restaurant in Packwood was absolutely delicious! We liked how the Elk just wandered through the town. For a nice relaxing day trip, we found the Blue Hole swimming and really great rock hunting spot in the La Wis Wis Campground not too far away. The cold water was so refreshing! Thank you for your perfect town! We’ll definitely be back for some more adventures there.

Elk Cabin was cozy and relaxing! Had all the amenities we needed. Location was great and the hot tub was so nice after a long day outside playing. We enjoyed the fire place, quiet neighborhood and the beautiful river.

Cozy cabin- we could not get the outdoor lights to come on though (should have been on a timer, but was not working) I am sure if I contacted the host, he would have been able to help me ASAP as he was very communicative, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Wish we had a little more time here to explore the area, but would love to come back again!
